i was getting crazy annoyed that every tutorial i watched so far, was just saying to pair the goggles with the drone and all of them to the motion controller, but they were not saynig how, and i was really frustrated, untill i watched your video and i was able to set everything up. Wow DJI. I already own Mavic 3 and Goggles 2 but can't use them together without Motion Controller 2? I don't like motion controllers. I want to use my RC-N1 stick controller!

I know the Mini 3 Pro FPV mode will not be the same as the Avata but will still have almost the same experience. But the Avata doesn't have cinematic capability of the Mini 3 Pro. So excited for this

@@raider1284 it was really that simple. I have the dji rc (with screen). I bound the goggles to the drone, then turned them off and took off as normal with rc and mini 3 pro. After I was airborne I powered up the goggles 2.

I have it working with my DJI RC that shipped with the classic. Do all the connection steps, once you see video in your goggles, turn them off and take off like you would normally, then turn goggles on. You will get an error in the lower right corner, but has no effect on flight.
Hey Shawn. This is news to me and I love it. Can't wait to see your testing of this. One question though. I noticed you are using the glasses accessories in your goggles. How do you get them to stay on???? Mine are constantly falling off as they don't really click in place. I have now lost my right eye piece and had to order a replacement from DJI and will need to get a custom glass again.
With the Goggles 2 a lot of people are having that issue with the adopters at Dji include fall off they’re not tight enough. Mine stay on fairly tightly, so must be some kind of manufacturing tolerance. However, with the new Goggles Integra, they are different and that much better fit.
Any chances they'll add in RC controller support when using the Goggles? While using the Motion 2 is nice, having the finer control with the RC controls would make using the goggles even better.
@air photography, What do you have to do to fly the Avata after you've linked to the Mini 3 Pro. Can you just select it off the status menu and fly or do you have to bind the goggles and MC2 back to the Avata again? Nobody has done a video about moving back and forth. That would be a good one for you too take on showing how to swap back and forth.
I've got a mini 3 pro, and I have a question; in flying rules we need to abide by, it says you need to keep the drone in view at all times. To be able to legally fly with fpv goggles, does that mean that people always need to have a spotter with them??

Yes, indeed you don’t have to remind every time. If you bind it to the Goggles in the motion 2 if you power everything off, but just turn on the controller it’ll connect like normal
My goggles/motion controller are bound to the MP3, however, if I turn everything off and restart the MP3 with the DJI RC, I’m told in the Fly app that I’m using an unbound device and have options to rebind the RC MP3. Surely…, I don’t need to do this every time?! Because if I rebind the RC then the goggles become unbound and I get the same message with them… Am I missing something/doing something wrong? HELP

Love your vids! I use the mini 3pro with the rc-n1 as well as with the integra/motion2 combo. When going to the motion2 combo I get the "not bound to..." message with the ability to fly 5 times or switch. How the heck do I switch back and forth from rc-n1 to integra/motion2 combo ....? Any help would be great.

Personally, I would go with the Integra Goggles. They’re cheaper and they work just as well but I have the convenience of the built-in battery. He will need the motion 2 in order to use the goggles at this point anyways. I do believe you can now buy them as a kit.
This is exciting news! However I’m cautious doing the update. I tried doing this last night when the firmware was first announced but it was very slow to download the update via the app. I’ve never seen so many devices firmware update launched at the same time. Good on DJI BUT fingers crossed to all the users and hope it all goes well! (You know what I mean!)

DJI really knows how to get our money. This is almost irresistible. I just bought an Avata with the MC1 (at Christmas). Of course I have never even used the MC1 and now it's not even compatible with the Mini 3 or Mavic 3 for the FPV in the Goggles. So now I have to buy the MC2 and the Mini 3 or the Mavic 3. This is like a drug addiction. They just keep putting stuff out there and as soon as I think I have it under control they come out with all of this new good stuff. Damn!
Indeed, there have not been any updates. Hopefully that does change soon. There are workarounds, but I don’t recommend it. The results could be unpredictable.

I saw one person hook up the Goggles Integra to mini 3 pro and able to use the rc controller. All other sites are saying you have to use the motion controller. It will show a, needs to link motion controller, but I! Think that the Transmitter already connected to the mini 3 , just because of controller, should not have to change to get the FPV experience.

I’m not sure about that. You will need to update the firmware on the drone which you can do via the controller. The way I updated mine was download the DJI assistant app from their website, the consumer drone version and then just plug the goggles into your computer. And it will update it.
Do both the Goggles 2 and Integra support head tracking or just the 2? On Amazon site I see head tracking on the 2 but cant see it on the Integra. Is that the difference in price mabe? I have the Mini 3 Pro. Thanks for the videos.

Please check the framerate of the video feed with the integra/goggles 2 and mini 3. Normally the link is 30 fps with the Mini 3. But that would be atrociously bad to fly with a set of goggles. Hopefully they have unlocked the link to actually be 1080p60 and not 30 with the mini 3. As the video link and all the hardware Can handle it, its just DJI themselves that have placed that limit on all non Mavic/FPV models.
No linking for me. Seems like the software update necessary to link has removed the ability of any controller (phone w/dji fly, goggles/RC Pro and mini 2 controller with phone) to see my drone. DJI told me after a couple of hours of troubleshooting to "Take it to the Apple Store/ because it is a problem with the controller." (Yes I saved a screenshot of that craziness). So I am waiting for a higher level call back from their support team or am stuck with mailing it in for the arduous task of having someone with some real knowledge who can fix this. If anyone reads this and has any fixes I would greatly appreciate the advice!!

Please check the framerate of the video feed with the integra/goggles 2 and mini 3. Normally the link is 30 fps with the Mini 3. But that would be atrociously bad to fly with a set of goggles.
Hopefully they have unlocked the link to actually be 1080p60 and not 30 with the mini 3. As the video link and all the hardware Can handle it, its just DJI themselves that have placed that limit on all non Mavic/FPV models.

When I try to pair googles to drone it says DRONE VERSION TO EARLY WHAT DOES IT MEANS ???
No linking for me. Seems like the software update necessary to link has removed the ability of any controller (phone w/dji fly, goggles/RC Pro and mini 2 controller with phone) to see my drone. DJI told me after a couple of hours of troubleshooting to "Take it to the Apple Store/ because it is a problem with the controller." (Yes I saved a screenshot of that craziness). So I am waiting for a higher level call back from their support team or am stuck with mailing it in for the arduous task of having someone with some real knowledge who can fix this. If anyone reads this and has any fixes I would greatly appreciate the advice!!
