Just purchased the DJI Integra Goggles/Motion 2 Controller combo for use with my Mini 3 Pro. Can't wait to try them out for a pseudo FPV flying experience! Thanks for the ride along on your Mini 3 Pro!!
Pretty cool for anyone looking to get into FPV and understanding the feeling. Also great for existing FPV/GPS drone owners to obtain some great hybrid shots.
Great demo of how to fly the DJI Mini 3 with the new firmware that allows it to use the goggles and Motion 2 controller. I just wish they would have allowed you to use the DJI RC controller as well as the Motion controller. Nice video, thanks for sharing.
You can use the RC still, and it's relatively easy. See the procedure below. However, I believe DJI does not want it to work because some of the transmission of the RC can conflict with the video for the goggles so they say that it's dangerous To use the RC and goggles at the same time: - Bind the goggles - Turn the goggles off - Turn on the RC and pair, then take off - Turn the goggles on while in the air and they should also pair up - You can now fly with a proper controller
Yes, very useful, and the video prior where you explain the pairing. I have a Mini 3 Pro and I just bought an Avata-Googles 2-Motion 2 package. I can't wait to try the Googles and Motion with the M3P. Thank you for the video.
Hey DJI, this is a great feature but please, let us to do it with our stick controllers! I've tried your motion controllers and I don't like them because I'm so used to flying with sticks.
I was going the buy them, but without the control of a regular remote, is no go for me right now. Anyway, this is the way you should ALWAYS film with any drones, you will get the right cameras controls when filming for exposures. And FPV is super fun! That's how I fly all my drones and everything that has a camera on it. FPV only will get better from here!
Looks like a blast. Someday I need to get a good drone and I would, love to be able to use a drone with the goggles. I appreciate you mentioning the Hons lenses. That would be great! Thanks, Tom
Thanks for that video. Just purchased the Avata explorer combo last week and I’m a total newbie droner. There is so much to learn and you definitely helped. I only started flying a drone about 6 weeks ago after purchasing a Mavic air 2 from a friend. I immediately wanted the experience of the FPV so I bought the Avata combo on sale for $899. I think I’m leaning to sell the Mavic Air 2 already. I only have 1 flight using Avata with the goggles and I love it. I need to learn and understand the controls.
I love this set up I actually get an avata as a fpv camera drone 😅if I would have known this was gonna come out 😂 I gotta have this set up. Cool video thanks for showing us. Like another comment suggested let’s see a range test with that motion controller and mini3 pro
Put my Evo into the ocean this week so im trying to figure out what to get next. Torn between the Avata and Mini 3 pro...this new update makes it even more hard...to many choices! LOL. Great video!!!
I have both and the Avata is the one I use if I am likely to be bouncing off stuff. Tough but loud. I love them both but for close work I like the Avata and of course you can enjoy manual mode with the right controller.
Very good and clear video on how to connect the DJI drone, in my case Mini 4 Pro to the Googles Integra and Motion2 Controller. Have ordered Googles and the Motion 2 Controller and will use it soon. One thing I am wondering about; is it easy to switch back to the normal RC controller, as I like some of the functions like „Mastershots“ that come with the regular RC controller?
Today I have tried this and had different experience about the switching. When switching to DJI Goggles 2 I had to confirm "bound" Mini 3 Pro to my Goggles 2. After that I wanted to use RC, since it did not reconnect by it self I had to go for Pairing, after that confirm bound to RC and this only worked with internet connection! so without hotspot wifi I would be *!
You can use the standard controller. Power off the goggles, take off and hover using the RC and then turn back on the goggles. Then off you go. RC controller, goggles all working!
I am fine with the goggles working only with motion2, as i’m not really familiar with the rc controller. I do wonder about the features of the rc controller that’s lost using the motion2. Possibly regained with a motion3 or updates to the motion2.
You should have shown a little bit of what you can now do with the motion controller v2 instead of flying it like it was a version 1. A lot more moves to do with this setup.
Why has Dji not added the RC controller with the Goggles 2? I have spoken with a rep months ago and they said it was coming but now it seems it only works if you purchase the new motion controller.
You actually can using a work around. Make sure all devices are paired and take off using the rc controller then once in the air you power on the goggles and it automatically connects even though you’re still using controller. Haven’t tried it but I saw a video regarding this
