    Great demo of how to fly the DJI Mini 3 with the new firmware that allows it to use the goggles and Motion 2 controller. I just wish they would have allowed you to use the DJI RC controller as well as the Motion controller. Nice video, thanks for sharing.

    • @parallax_aerial_photography
      @parallax_aerial_photography Год назад +4

      You can use the RC still, and it's relatively easy. See the procedure below. However, I believe DJI does not want it to work because some of the transmission of the RC can conflict with the video for the goggles so they say that it's dangerous
      To use the RC and goggles at the same time:
      - Bind the goggles
      - Turn the goggles off
      - Turn on the RC and pair, then take off
      - Turn the goggles on while in the air and they should also pair up
      - You can now fly with a proper controller

  • @hankwojo

    Yes, very useful, and the video prior where you explain the pairing. I have a Mini 3 Pro and I just bought an Avata-Googles 2-Motion 2 package. I can't wait to try the Googles and Motion with the M3P. Thank you for the video.

    Thanks for that video. Just purchased the Avata explorer combo last week and I’m a total newbie droner. There is so much to learn and you definitely helped. I only started flying a drone about 6 weeks ago after purchasing a Mavic air 2 from a friend. I immediately wanted the experience of the FPV so I bought the Avata combo on sale for $899. I think I’m leaning to sell the Mavic Air 2 already. I only have 1 flight using Avata with the goggles and I love it.

    Very good and clear video on how to connect the DJI drone, in my case Mini 4 Pro to the Googles Integra and Motion2 Controller. Have ordered Googles and the Motion 2 Controller and will use it soon. One thing I am wondering about; is it easy to switch back to the normal RC controller, as I like some of the functions like „Mastershots“ that come with the regular RC controller?

    RobHK RUclips channel figured out a hack to be able to fly with the RC remote. Put up a video of it I believe yesterday.

    Deal breaker for me if we can fly with the RC Controller. Perhaps in a future FW update!! Otherwise, for most of the professional users who are able to finesse movement, using the motion controller is a non-starter.

    I dont think its a good idea to land on grass like that. Could damage the drone?

    • @AirPhotography
      @AirPhotography  Год назад

      Ideally, yes, you can damage the props or prematurely wear them. Normally I hand catch or use use a landing pad

    Are you required to have a spotter with those goggles? I really dislike that rule here. Thanks for sharing.

    • @AirPhotography
      @AirPhotography  Год назад

      Unfortunately, yes, in most countries that is the rule

      @@AirPhotography thanks, I thought so. I have 2 or 3 pairs of goggles (not the Integra) but since I usually go out alone, I figured, what's the use? Love flying FPV but most of the time, I'm solo! Wish they'd change that stupid ass rule!

      It has the same range as the controller as it is a occusync 3
