Many of us here have been waiting a long time for that update that allows integra goggles and rc2 controller to fly the mini 4 pro.Can you have a word with DJI Shawn?thanks
Yes, great idea. Please create a tutorial video for this new mini 4 pro feature. I was not a big fun of fpv but I am definitely warming up to the idea. A beginner tutorial would be great.
I LOVE DJI PRODUCTS, THEY ARE THE BEST!!! I ordered DJI Avata Combo package that comes with goggle 2 when it was on sale for $999 before Christmas, i should get it later this week. It was a welcome news to find out that I could also use the goggles with mini 4 pro which I also have. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK DJI!!! CHEERS!
The most important part of the motion controller is setting your gain. Otherwise you'll go to sleep trying to land. The factory settings for reverse and dissent are 0.5 meters a second. So slow you'll think your stuck in a hover. Once you maxed out your gains, the motion controller allows you to take off and fly from places you were terrified attempting with the controller sticks. However, the head tracking activated and motion controller never face the same direction. You'll get what I mean when you start playing with head tracking....at altitude. Flying with the head tracking activated is a bit disorientating. Great when you're in a hover, but deactivate before you land.
Thank you very much for this video Sean! I just managed to activate and link my new motion controller 2 to the Mini-4 Pro. Easy when following your step by step. `I would love to see a tutorial on how to set up the MC2 - settings - and then prepare and fly with it for the first time.
Thanks for your demonstration, Love the new udate of the Mini 4 pro and ordered the Goggles Integra with the RC Motion 2 and ... de propeller guards, just for safety in the learning periode Please make one
Hi I need urgent help. I've bound my goggles 3 and motion 3 to mini 4 When I turn my RC controller on with goggles the motion controller says its not bound ????
At 1:00 - the cable between Goggle and Laptop. Is this already included when i buy? I thought the DJI Goggles 2 OTG-cabel cames with it but this looks way diffrent.
Thank you so much, I believe I would have found how to do this on my own, but it would have taken much longer. Your video was extremely helpful. I would like you to make the tutorial also, you have a way to find the details most would miss. Merry xmas to you and to all.
+ 1 on the request for a tutorial on the subject. Thank you for your clear explanation on how to fly the Mini 4 Pro using this modality. Can you address the issue of when is necessary to bind the DJI Integra to a drone as well as "un-binding" it? Do the same applies to the Motion 2? Thanks!
Great video my friend! In your opinion if you were getting the mini pro 4 would you spend the extra money on buying the motion control remote if it was already coming with the RC remote? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you!
Many of us here have been waiting a long time for that update that allows integra goggles and rc2 controller to fly the mini 4 pro.Can you have a word with DJI Shawn?thanks
From what i'm finding out (i ordered the goggles) .. my RC2 controller is a paperweight once you link up the goggles.. trying to find a way around it now
hi Shawn Help please I have the googles integra and hand controller 2 - this is a drone class at a high school We actually have two sets of everything. one set works just fine. the other drone will connect with goggles and regular controller but not the motion controller2 any other suggestions? Thankz
Could you please advise if these goggles are the same as the Avata Pro-View Fly Combo? They look a bit different, but they are also called goggles 2 and RC 2
Great instructional video! Nicely done! Just one suggestion you did not mention how to bind the Goggles 2 there is a small bind button inside the goggles just above the nose piece that needs to be depressed in order to bind them. You may want to include that info on your next video 😊🎁🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄 Merry Christmas 🎉🎁🎄
You’re exactly right I realize that after I’d already filmed it and was editing I did put a little note at the bottom when I was buying the other goggles but indeed, I should’ve made it more clear
Excellent channel.....i just got the Goggles Integra and motion controller 2.......I think i have all components up to date to the latest firmware...and i got everything connected......I powered everything up and was ready for FPV ... and it only flew a distance of 164ft then it said Max Distance reached. I checked the settings and i have "Unlimited" for distance.......frustrating!!!
Quick question..once linked to motion controller, if you go back to the RC 2 remote, do you have to relink the drone to the remote, or does it stay linked.
Hello, thanks again for this video, so I went to buy a motion 2 controler and updated the firmware, but then I have a message saying my google will allow me to fligh only 1 time with the mini pro, as they are bounded with my Avata... ! does it mean that I also have to buy another Google only to be able to continue using the Avata and then also the Mini 4 pro ? they must be kidding :(
Thanks for the video very easy to follow as always. A quick question please. If I bind the goggles and Motion 2 to the MP4 will I have to rebind the original RC2 when I go back to using the remote and then rebind the goggles each time I want use them in future? Thanks for any information
Just got the Goggles 2 with the remote. Updated firmware and got all connected with all pieces my Mini 4 pro connected but will not fly. I have to plug my phone in too to use because of Remote Id and this still did not work. I am downloading the DJI fly app but not used it yet. Now the app will not install. Weird I must have to return this .
So i have a mini 4 pro, i just got in the goggles 2 (without the controller, i wanted to use the rc2) .. when i pair the goggles, i get a message on the controller that the current remote controller is not supported .. is there a way to just add the goggles without buying the controller?
With the goggles powered off, take off with the rc and fly a few feet away and hover. Turn on the goggles, and see if that works. That's how it worked with the mini3, but I don't know if the mc2 is first needed for initial setup. I just heard about this update, and haven't tried the mini4 yet.
Hey, any luck? I also have the mini 4 pro and want to purchase the goggles 2 to pair with my RC2. I saw a video of a guy linking the RC2 to goggles on the mini 3 pro, but haven’t seen it for the mini 4.
I just tried to fly my mini 4 with integra. Am i right, that in case flying with the goggles there is no way to change the recording to D-LogM or HLG? Moreover only 4K 60 or 1080 60 is available. The framerates is somthing i can understand since the image tranmitted must be the same framerate that is recorded an 60 is the better transmittionoption for a smooth flight. But for instance the avata can shoot cinelike-D so i thought DLogM on mini 4 will work as well. Or am i doing something wrong?
Some countries require the operator to keep visual site of the drone, _unaided_ visual site. How do these goggle drones meet this requirement since we all know we aren't going to have a spotter with us.
Dont be obvious where you take off. I fly from inside my house, car etc. Find a remote spot as the Pro3 and 4 are very very quiet. If you stay above 120 feet no one will have clue your there. Seeing your sub 250 grams, you dont need a license. You can always plead ignorance if some authority knows more than you do. Here in Canada people smile, ask questions etc. Never had a problem as its impossible to keep line of site.
Indeed, I should’ve made that more clear. I did include some text on the screen, but for the goggles 2. The bind button is located in between the eye lenses.
It's because this video shows how to "link" the devices and not how to "bind" them. These are two different processes. Linking (or pairing) is done by holding down the power buttons. Binding is done through the DJI Flymore app and your DJI account. Linking is not binding. If you fly your drone with an "unbound" device, you cannot make a claim against your DJI insurance if you need to. It will be invalid. In most cases, you can only fly 5 times max with an unbound device. I see several people releasing these types of videos with inaccurate information. This is dangerous and will mess people up if they need to make a claim on DJI insurance.
@@2005Aztek I cannot find how to bind the goggles with my account, I looked in the Fly app on my phone and in my DJI account on the computer with no success. There is no option to add a device or to bind a device. I am down to 1 fly left as each time I power the drone with the goggles on, I loose 1 fly. Any help would be appreciated.
I found how to bind the goggles to my account / drone. But doing so, the RCN2 is not bonded anymore ??? Having purchased the CARE insurance, I need the mini 4 pro to be bonded in case of a claim, can I only chose one or the other ? If the answer is yes, it does not make any sense, I want to be able to use them both and of course this cannot be at the same time so why only one of the contollers can be bonded is passed my understanding. Please note that I use the word bonding as it should be in this case and has nothing to do with linking or pairing. All this time testig, everything stayed linked normaly.
@@stephaneperry8044 It's my understanding, as of right now, that only one controller can be bound to a single drone at any one time. They can be switched back and forth, but only one at a time. A claim can only be made when a drone was bound to the controller it was bound to at the time insurance was purchased. It is because DJI uses "logs" from the controller to help determine what happened to the drone. This seems like something DJI should and can fix, but they haven't yet. Perhaps sending them feedback on the issue would motivate them. There's going to be a lot of surprised and angry people when they find out their insurance is useless if their drone wasn't properly bound. I'm betting most will find out after they attempt to file a claim and are automatically denied.
Since I already own the RCM2 and the Goggles2 too bad I cant buy just the Mini4 drone by itself. DJI doesnt sell it!! I told them to take my money but they wont.
I don't see what is the purpose of using the DJI Motion Controller with the DJI 3 mini pro or the DJI 4 mini pro if you can't do flips like a a regular fpv drone because the concept is from an F-16 jet that's how you fly them i'm talking about the real jet not a RC hobby jet i have regular fpv drones i would love to do flips with my mini 4 pro.
This process is a little tricky, thanks for your excellent tutorial. Thanks for sharing. Happy Holidays.
Could you use the mini 4 pro with the rc2 and goggles 2 or integra ?
Instead of the motio controller?
Thanks!
