Thanks so much for the calculator tip. The amount of times I've went to use the calculator on the Apple Watch to work out a percentage, and then released it wasn't possible to do it (as I thought the calculator lacked the percentage feature) and have then instead used the calculator on the iPhone which does have a percentage key on the calculator.
Great video, there is one feature that is confusing and that is the Activity. After my fast walk for 50 minutes as I normally do it's showing only 12 min/50. Steps and calories are accurate. Why? Thanks.
Great reminder video of all the features. I still couldn’t get into some of the map features you showed I know they are there but can’t see topology. (I know it’s user error on my part)
Ping my watch does not show up in my control center. I'm running the latest 17.1.1 and don't have that feature. Is there a way to add it to the control center? UPDATE: If you update you're phone and this option sill doesn't show you need to restart your phone and it will show up in the control center. Just found this out.
Has Apple finally added its own pairing app to alert me when I leave my phone behind? I have been using a third party app to keep me from losing another phone,.. the only reason I bought the watch.
Sorry, just notice I accidentally cut it off the video 🤦🏻 So I have my buttons on the left because when I’m weight training at the gym, my wrist would bump the power button or Digital Crown on accident so I changed it to prevent that when bench pressing with a barbell. To change it go to setting and go in general and click on orientation and flip it to the left. I might take down the video and reupload the correct version.
Just a tip. To change watch faces in WatchOS 10, touch and hold on the watch face, this will then show the watch face selection screen. And from there you can swipe left of right to choose the desired watch face.
@@Oleg__ Ok I see, just with something you done/said in the video, made me think that you were not aware that you could do what I mentioned. I agree, the old swipe across was much better.
@@TallysVids By the way, if you have a lot of watch faces, you can move between them in that mode not by swipes, but by rotating the digital crown. It'll be a lot faster that way.
You should tell people that you can use your watch to stop and start your Video recording. Just push Video on phone and watch will stop and start recording.
Put the iphone on a tripod… put to sleep… open the camera app on the watch… this will power up the iphone and opens the camera… double tap to take a phone… exit the camera app… this will put the iphone to sleep. Video too!

All the features and updates can’t help when the screen dims down low in dark environment
Yeah, I noticed that. It sucks. You can’t even read it.
You can turn off auto ambient dark mode on the watch face

Quick tip… if you press and hold on the watch face you can scroll through the watch faces you have created.
What happened to the night vision dial? I used to be able to use the dial to switch between night mode and Normal
I thought I covered that. But it’s removed now you have auto/on/off now

I've always known this, and find it much worse than a simple and quick swipe to a next watch face.
