Just received my longmill 48X30. Setup and running. Why wasn't it explained to me in the instruction manual that the head of a PEZ dispenser fits perfectly as a ACME nut cover?
Mine when using a vbit, the probe goes through its process, then goes straight down and nails the vbit directly into the probe. Called for help, waiting for the callback.
I have a MillRight CNC Carve King 2 using G-gode Sender and everything works great except for this. I have tried every setting there is. The normal Zero Plate works correctly. When I switch the probe from standard to AutoZero and try this all it does in XYZ is touch the plate and go to Alarm 4 In XY it goes to Z the across to X and goes to alarm 4. No matter what I try it either when it hits the plate it goes to alarm 4. Any help or suggestions on this would be appreciated. I would love to use this. All firmware and softwares are current and up to date.
I could be when the bit is pulling off to make the second touch it's still somehow in contact with the plate causing the Alarm 4. Does your Carve King have any play in its movements? I'm also curious, if you've tried doing a Z-only touch and if that's still causing an Alarm 4
Seems like there might be a problem with the wiring or that somehow your Carve King isn't able to handle the plate? You could try using the wiring from your Standard touch plate and plug it into the AutoZero. If you're still having problems you can reach out to us with pictures or videos and we'd be happy to help you out
Make sure the magnet is making solid contact with your collet. Check the probe is plugged into your board properly. Check the wires to make sure they aren't loose. Let us know if any of those fix it!
@@SienciLabs I have checked everything several times, and watched the video several times with no luck. I decided to check the voltage at the wires going to the touch plate I get 6.5 volts DC is this the correct voltage? If it is could there something in the settings?
We're really sorry you're running into this issue. There's definitely something strange going on. You've got a few options. You can submit a ticket with customer service and they will do their very best to get back to you within 24-48 hours. Or you can post on our Facebook group and see if anyone has experienced similar issues and was able to figure it out. Again, our apologies for the disruption, but we'll help you get it figured out!
Most times no, but if the bit is very sharp it can sometimes leave a mark - this is just because many touch plates have a matt finish but the AutoZero is quite polished
That plate seems to float around a lot during probing. I have the old the plate however 99% of my work I now run from the centre of the stock. So its great for doing the Z zero.
Yes, though we made the new plate heavier and gave it a larger surface area it can still sometimes slip around depending on the material - that's why we suggest holding onto it during probing
These newer short videos are a great addition. Keep up the good work!
It has been one week. I love it. Using it on my 3018, soon on a longmill mk2 30x48. Can't wait.
That's awesome! I might have to update the store page to say "tested to work on other CNCs like a 3018" :)

Didn't see that one coming 😆 you should definitely send us along a picture!
Interested in using soft limits on my 3018 pro. How do you set that up with gsender?
You can visit the 'Firmware' tool and scroll down the list to find the setting for soft limit. It'll be part of the 'homing' category

@@SienciLabs no play and yes have
Tried the z only and it goes to Alarm 4 thank you
Using the Standard Mode with a simple alum block works fine only have this issue with the auto touch settings

@@SienciLabs How do I go about "trying the writing" from my standard touch plate and plugging it into the AutoZero?
I keep getting code 4 help
Whenever I do a z only probe and resume the bit wonders away like it has no clue where to go
Why are there two jacks and which one is used?
The 2 jacks are simply for convenience! Choose whichever one makes your life easier and zero away!
What do you do when you don't get the green light?

It would be helpful to send a quick video to customer support when you contact them if you can!
Ok thanks
is it supposed to dent/bite into the plate? i've noticed some dent in your video when it tried to figure out the z offset
