This is amazing. I didn't expect a motor from that long ago to run so smoothly and have such a great sound, and to push that boat with those big guys on board, that fast. And the twist-grip speed control? I wonder why Johnsons and Evinrudes (and most other brands) from the 40s to early 50s (guessing at the later part of that time range) didn't have that feature?

yes they are offset and do fire at the same time.
The cylinders look offset, do they both fire at the same time?
The cylinders fire 180 degrees apart. One throw on the crank. The cylinders are staggered to account for the connecting rod spacing.
