I experienced some when i was keto. Now carnivore and my hair is a lot stronger. But i think you helped me identify an iodine deficiency! Will certainly test.
Causes of hairloss: 1) Not eating enough calories 2) Not eating enough protein 3) Nutrient deficiencies - Vitamin A - Iron - Vitamin D - Biotin - Iodine
I solved all the above a while ago and I still experience hair snapping. (I also brush gently, don't tie it up, don't sleep on rough materials either etc)

I lost hair doing Keto then it finally calmed down (it was not from weight loss as my loss was very slow and minimal). Then going from Keto to Carnivore losing hair came back really badly. I also had not been able to grow/keep fingernails past my fingertip for years (started way before dietary changes) - caught Dr Berry’s video on iodine and started it a little over a month ago, by week 2-3 I had strong growing nails, week 3 my hair stopped falling out like crazy! I also felt less emotional and stressed overall. I was already taking vitamin D (for deficiency diagnosis pre-keto and collagen so I believe for me it was truly an iodine deficiency 🌺

My hairline was receding. I didn’t even know. Since going carnivore it’s growing back and some of my white hairs have brown roots. I just got off the phone with my RA Dr. My CRP was 14.5 3 months ago. This week it’s 8. Normal is 10! I did come back slightly anemic. So I guess I need more beef and organs...
Hi. How long have you been on carnivore and when did you start to see change in you hair color? What is your daily menu, do eat beef liver? I am struggling with premature grey( anemic and low in vitamin D) . Any kind of information from yo u will be helpful. Thank you again
anna garmelia Hi Anna, I started Keto or Low Carb High Fat (LCHF) November 2018, then went full Carnivore February 2020. So I was about 15 months keto before going carnivore. I noticed my first Brown strand with a white tip in February 2020. I have it taped in my planner on the 9th. So I was seeing improvements just removing the majority of carbs. I don’t food log anymore because my “menu” doesn’t vary much. Generally I eat a combo of eggs, hamburger patties, bacon, deer (venison), chicken, sour cream, roast beef, pork chops, tuna.... I eat until I’m full. I have no idea what my macros are anymore. I do plug meals into MyFitnessPal occasionally to check that I'm not over or under eating. I added liverwurst in, but only eat it occasionally. I mixed it with cream cheese and some spices and formed it into portions and froze them so they don’t got bad before I eat them all. I take a vitamin D supplement because I live in Canada 🇨🇦 so even if I was outside all day I still wouldn’t get the recommended daily intake. I also take a magnesium supplement. I’m not sure what to think about being told I’m anemic anymore. There have been some videos that say you're more likely to be copper deficient than iron deficient. And that the copper deficiency leads to the iron reading... 🤷🏻♀️ or something to that effect. But don’t take my word for it, look for copper deficiency videos on carnivore channels and make your own judgment. I hope you give it a try and have good results. After all, what have you got to loose? I lost weight, anxiety and depression, acne and so many more things that I don’t even remember the whole list anymore.
@@TinaThevarge I live in Canada too. I'm getting bloodwork done but I'm not getting my iodine tested. I had to press to get my adrenals tested. How is your hair doing?
I am so happy I found this video!!! I have been carnivore since mid January 2021, and I have lost a significant amount of hair. I have really thick hair and it used to be so dense you could barely see my scalp. I have lost so much now that my scalp is very noticeable. This video confirmed exactly what I was thinking the cause could be: 1) lack of protein (I get full very easily), 2) Not eating organ meats (to me they taste like dirt). Now I am back to tracking what I eat, and I have already upped my liver intake. Hopefully I start to see some improvements with my overall hair quality, and density.
Hi, thanks a lot for sharing your situation, I'm also starting to see some pretty noticeable hair loss, on and off, for several months now, and am trying to get to the bottom of it. Would you mind sharing any results or progress you've had so far? I'd really appreciate it.
The trick is to eat the organ meats raw; if you heat them they will taste like pee; I always heat a bit the sides so that it’s not that cold and is a bit crunchier but it’s always raw in the inside
Very informative video. I experienced heavy hair loss in the beginning after fixing my protein intake and watching my nutrition hair loss was fixed in no time.
It's not really a matter of age as it is a matter of genetics. Age can accelerate it, but it's mostly genes. I have two college friends who were bald by 23. And I know men into their 60s who have full head of hair.
Biotin, D Ribose, B6 helps some with alopecia, B12, Iodine, methylfolate, heme iron, K2, Sulfur, plenty of fat & protein .. We need it all! Biosil is a product many love. Reducing commercial product & heat use. Healthy oils & fats for the scalp. Massage & good hygiene :] Great video Kait -- my hair has never been stronger than on Carnivore & my scalp is so healthy.
I started losing hair daily about two weeks ago. Been carnivore for the past 2 months. Just prior to starting carnivore, I had lost 30 pounds in 3 months (from 139 to 109). I started carnivore to get in more protein and dense nutrients and didn't realize how challenging it would be to eat enough calories to maintain (and not continue losing) my weight. I definitely didn't want to lose any more weight because I'm 65 and 5'4". That 30-lbs of rapid weight loss was due to Stephen Gundry's Lectin Free diet along with intermittent fasting (didn't realize that doing two diets at the same time could cause problems - i.e. like muscle loss which I'm sure happened too). My problem now is like you, I'm so full on meat, dairy, and fats that I can barely get down 1500 calories a day. It's a struggle. Apparently I'm not eating enough protein. But I have no real idea of how much protein I should try to eat a day, so keep it between 60-90g. I am going to try bumping it up and making myself eat more even though I'm not hungry and see what happens. Also will try taking iodine. Maybe this will help the hair loss.
If you don't have food allergies or diabetes, then you can add some healthy carbs a couple days per week like fruit or green smoothies or some sweet potatoes, baby carrots dipped in ranch or guacamole is good. Also, liverwurst and pate' are super dense in nutrients because they are made from liver. But some people require some carbs in their diet. Signs are dry eyes, unable to fall asleep or stay asleep & hair loss. Add some healthy carbs even once per day may be necessary for some. Carbs increase appetite also, so you will want to eat more. But most people trying keto are trying to lose weight.
Sometimes i feel the need to freshen and reset the palate... So i added one or both of the following once or twice per week, and although not strict NO carb, for me gave an appetite boost... The two items i added were; Egg-flips - 4 x raw eggs whisked into 1 teaspoon of vanilla + 100ml of whipping cream (of the type with no added gelatines or 407a thickener). This netts 62gms x fat, 7.4gms x protein + 6.1 gms carbs, Low carb cheese with smoked salmon. I also eliminated garlic - i used to get beef burgers seasoned with garlic. I grew to realise the lingering smell on my breath was dampening my appetite.
This is the best video i have seen on this topic so far. Thanks for making it. I have had swelling at the neck recent months on and off, and memory issues similarly. I avoided dairy and fish as i suspected reactions to them. I did eat liver and other offal. So im now pretty sure i need more iodine. Already increasong my intake through a salt that has it added.
Lugal's iodine is best supplement or just eat sushi(seaweed) & shrimp. Iodinated salt has anti-caking agents that damage the arterial walls like tiny razor blades, then the body makes extra cholesterol to repair the damage like spackling a wall. So anti-caking agents in salt are responsible for a lot of artery damage and higher cholesterol.
Keto and works so well for my pre diabetes I’m NOT hungry so I am probably not enough enough or enough protein. I have to force myself to eat- never thought I would say those words
Lost way more hair with keto.. With carnivore my hair loss slowed way down and I even have new growth around hair line. I'm a protein heavy carnivore for 7 months (was keto for 2.5 years). Recently had blood work done and all was spectacular. I do have HBP tho, now I'm paying attention to IR after watching your other video on that subject. Thank you!
Gluconeogenesis is a real concern especially for diabetics and anyone with insulin resistance. I monitor my glucose and ketones regularly and high protein definitely makes my glucose levels go out of control and kicks me out of ketosis. Please watch some interviews with Prof Don Layman as he explains gluconeogenesis in detail. There is such a thing as too much protein; it’s not just demand driven. I’ve learned it the hard way and it took a long time for me to find the right balance between protein and fat.
So why are you on this video? You do YOU , but there are far more seeing tremendous health from Keto/carnivore . Last year my labs were scary....now my doc is amazed at how great ALL my numbers are . No more meds, reversed type 2 Diabetes, no HBP and triglycerides back to normal after being off the charts.
This is such an informative video. I stopped shedding 2 weeks into carnivore. Then around day 35 my hair started falling out at an alarming rate & it still is. I’m constantly covered in it. I bet I’m under eating. Will stop IF for a bit and see if that helps. If not I’ll try the other things one at a time. Thank you.
I'm losing my hair. Some of it was stress related, and now I'm less stressed, less hair is falling out. Although I am concerned it's still falling out more than it should. I decided to get a full blood test this week. If there is any deficiency I will use animal foods to heal.
I’m 4 months into carnivore (started October) and have lost 40 pounds but have been losing weight since July and lost a total of 60 pounds. Recently my hair is falling out a lot. Only thing I can think of from your video is I might not be eating enough. I take ancestral liver pills and organ pills and with my OMAD meal mostly steak or roast I have a couple bites of butter and I eat cheese if I’m still hungry but always eat till I feel full. I’ve never counted calories this whole time. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you @healthcouchkait love your videos
Look up Dr Bright, she recommends a stick up butter daily for females - to keep hormones balanced, and iodine supplement daily. Interviews on RUclips with SBG channel from last week- very interesting!!!
I like your sweatshirt. Where’d you get it? I like this video and wish I’d seen it 3 years ago when I was hardcore keto and lost some hair and 25 lbs ☺️ I’m glad I found it though because I am back on Keto to lose the weight I gained back and a then a little more weight from my thyroid problems. Thank you for all of your videos!
I started fasting for 16 hours up from 12 hours on keto diet and have noticed my hair falling out now. Perhaps am not getting enough protein so will increase my meals but still eating healthy foods. Thank you for your video and the information...couldn't figure the hair loss after increasing fasting hours..not working for me..
Same 😩 For insulin resistance the fasting is great. I lost my “puffy” Middle (im skinny fat) but my hair def fell out and doesn’t grow as fast. It’s a catch 22 I think if you / we are at a decent weight the fasting is not as important other than periodically if sick or want to clean out …but prioritizing protein is probably the key. Someday I’ll get this right :)
What would your recommendations be for Alopecia? My daughter is 25 and this is the 2nd time it's occurred. The first time she was in high school and took about a year to clear up. She didn't completely lose all her hair, but she had some pretty significant bald spots. Stress again has hit and it is starting again. This time she is also losing her lashes and eyebrows. Any info you could throw our way would be appreciated.
I am concerned because after 3 months full carnivore diet , I am still losing hair. should I be worried ...or better , what can I do to improve the situation thank you.
Do you store your beef liver capsules in the refrigerator? Thanks Also, Inositol has been my secret weapon for stopping hair loss in its tracks. Although some say it can kick you out of ketosis. Gotta pick your battles.
Great video, thank you 💗. I recently had this issue, started in February and it’s almost gone now. But I realized I had covid 19 by then. Infections do that
*If you’re doing carnivore and are struggling for calories, then:* 1. Make sure you’re getting beef Talo / organic grass fed butter 2. Honey (maybe with blueberries) 3. Don’t be afraid to have a dessert (if you can control your want for food). I sometimes have a chocolate bar or I make keto bread (no sugar) and have my kangaroo meat on the bread like a burger. Maybe add a pasta sauce (tomato paste etc) to your beef mince for the calories if you can’t get enough.
Madam, Very insightful and enlightening video. Could you please suggest, which video editor you used for this video. Because i would like to do youtube video on software technology of Generative AI.
Conventional meat is actually fine to consume in terms of nutrition. Grass-fed is only marginally more nutritious. I talk about this a bit in this video ruclips.net/video/baSD-Tu5-jM/видео.html
Ill give you the main reason. Your not eating enough fat. Your hair will fall out of the scalp at the root level. This is 99.99% the problem. Just add some fat if you cut out fats. Im a hair stylist and instructor of the hair body and its needs Hair is made out of Karatin protein. Take biotin for the hair and meat.
I eat a lot of fats. That’s not my issue. My hair is falling out and thinning. I been carnivore for solid 6-7 months now and it’s been getting worse. I haven’t added a sufficient enough organ meats and not eating enough but I do get a lot of fat in I know that.
@@repentjesusiscomingsoon1529 (absolutely love the name by the way!) I’m doing a lot better actually. I got off strict carnivore and realized that for women we can’t be strict carnivores. My hormones were all over the place. So it took months to figure out… but I have built a better relationship with food including carbs (I try and do seasonal fruits and veggies) and make sure I get all my proteins from reputable farms as well as my produce! I enjoy myself every now and again….maybe sometimes a little too much but I’ve realized my hair and skin has been a lot healthier. I also realized I had H. Pylori, Hashimotos, and that was all contributing to my issues so strict carnivore actually didn’t help those issues as at!

Hi. Thank you for your video’s their very helpful and clearly explained. Question. I saw a video on “itchy skin” do to the carnivore diet. Do you have any suggestions for itchy skin? I’ve been on the carnivore diet 4 months now and I’ve lost hair and now experiencing “itchy skin”. Thanks you so very much.
in my case hair loss happens with all of the following: poor protein absorption. im having around 100-150g protein every day and it was STILL falling out until i took ACV with each meal. thats one cause, solved as fast as overnight. the stress of fasting & HIIT combined. fasting-induced undernourishment: i did a 30 day water fast, no hair loss, but i should have stopped there. when i did back to back weeks of 48-96 hr fasts, thats when the hair fell out. right now im in a situation where it feels like im starving 24/7 even during the last bite of bloating, high calorie, high fat meals (160g fat!). i eat plenty of beef liver, over 16 oz per week sometimes, within 2200-2500 calorie meals. not enough, starving after it. its more than just low common nutrients at this point.
May have to really consider getting off Keto and go back to regular eating...been on keto 2 years and concerned about hair strands in brush...not liking it...infact very concerned. Search is on to find hair growth products. Ugh!!
I hear ya. I first went on a keto diet in the 70's on the Atkins diet. Lost weight and hair. Came off it and didn't return until March of this year. Not on Atkin's per se, but low carb, high fat, moderate protein. Then I found after 3 months, that I couldn't sleep. Cortisol too high due to androgenic effect. Also, consistent eye redness and inflammation. However, I do not lose weight going back to a diet of substantial carbs every day (100 to 200 carbs per day). So, lately, I have been trying the cycling approach, ie, low carb 3 days, then higher carbs the other days. I just monitor myself with sleep, weight loss, and eye redness and decide that day whether I need higher carbs, or lower. I can maintain my weight on higher carbs, but need to go to very low carbs to lose. So, I can insert even 1 day of very low carbs, and my body will adjust immediately with a weight loss. Then, If my sleep and eye redness gets bad, I will add some days of higher carbs to balance out the body with sleep, eye redness leaves. I also have increased my protein intake and lowered the fat intake. The fat, although very satiating, will also decrease your hunger, so you may not get all the nutrients necessary for good health and hair. I am praying that hair loss does not become an issue again. Some good suggestions given here in video about nutrition needs that may be a factor as well.
This does not make sense to me... when not eating enough protein, then hair may Not be made/produced/generated... but to me, a lack of protein does not explain the problem of hair falling out from the follicles.
Hi Kait, what is your take on iodine and hashimoto's? So much controversy about it. I have tried in the past to take kelp and iodine but my hashimoto's goes crazy. Makes my thinning hair worse and severe hyper sensations. I eat a lot of shrimp to get iodine and use a pinch of baby seaweed flakes sometimes and seem to be ok.
Hashimotos prevent iodine from being absorbed into the body, it lacks the enzyme to break it up and be used. Therefore u r jst eating it for nothing, shrimp is high in cholesterol be careful.
What about grey hair? Is there something I can do to keep my hair dark? I mean, people guess me at late 20's while I'm creaping on 40, but I can see my hair more and more (more so beard) turning silver.

I had severe hairloss a while ago, almost to the point of going bald but not in large chunks, falling out all over evenly. there are so many potential causes and deficiencies. It took me going to a doctor that specializes in nutrients and mineral deficiencies to find out what my specific deficiency was. I had to find a doctor who actually wanted to find out the root cause instead of a basic MD. I googled doctors and naturopathic and had to drive to a bigger city, they didn’t take my insurance of course. They did extensive allergy testing and blood testing ... it turned out to be a severe vitamin D deficiency. High fat and low carb plus vitamin D did more then any pharmaceutical my regular doctor was pushing. But really, unless you get tested, there’s really no way to know. Most bigger cities have doctors that do the testing. Paying out of pocket sucked, but it wasn’t unaffordable or anything.
I had a weird phenomenon where on one side of my head I had so much new growth I grew a new hairline. On the otherside hair loss is definitely occurring. But yeah it's probably under eating (unintentionally).
Do you think it would be okay to take the Grassland Nutrion's Grass-fed Beef Liver and Kelp since I'm on the carnivore diet already? I probably can use the extra iodine but I'm pretty sure I'm getting enough iron through my carnivore diet. I just don't know whether I should be concerned about taking more iron than I need.

I lose loads of hair each year around spring time. Whole handfuls come out and my hair goes to about half its thickness over the course of a month. It’s disturbing. Will this help seasonal hair loss as well?
I pretty much live on the road, so to lessen financial cost and health cost, I avoid take out as much as possible. I have a pretty good system of canned tuna w avocado and some other vegetable adds. But I eat alot of tuna which is full of protein and tasty w the avocado mix. But u always hear about the mercury thing. Is this real or just something ppl keep repeating? I mean what I can imagine ppl yrs ago in fishing towns eating massive seafood and not having any health issues.
I've been on a strict carnivore diet for over a year now after watching Joe Rogan & Shawn Baker's interview. I unfortunately also discovered that I am losing hair in the top part of my head. The sides and back are full & bushy but unfortunately the middle top front area of my hair is thinning out. I didn't know if this was due to the diet or my genetics. I eat tons of protein everyday until satiety and was perplexed as to why my hair was falling out more in the shower. Maybe there are some nutrient deficiencies that come with following a strict carnivore diet. I am taking Snap Supplements for Hair Loss currently but may switch to a meat organ based one soon. Interesting to see that more ppl report better hair quality after switching to a carnivore diet.

But don’t take my word for it, look for copper deficiency videos on carnivore channels and make your own judgment.
I hope you give it a try and have good results. After all, what have you got to loose? I lost weight, anxiety and depression, acne and so many more things that I don’t even remember the whole list anymore.
@@TinaThevarge Thank you ver much ❤️
@@TinaThevarge I live in Canada too.
How are you getting on with the hair issues?
The trick is to eat the organ meats raw; if you heat them they will taste like pee; I always heat a bit the sides so that it’s not that cold and is a bit crunchier but it’s always raw in the inside
update? have same problem
Very informative video. I experienced heavy hair loss in the beginning after fixing my protein intake and watching my nutrition hair loss was fixed in no time.
I was so starting to worry. I kind of like my long hair to be thicker. Thanks for making this video! I'm 2 wk new to carnivore diet. I just subscribed
This is the most explanatory video. Especially after menopause, women need to really care for our hair.
I'm losing hair because I'm a middle-aged man with kids that stress me out haha
Same but I'm a woman
😅😅 I can't help with that unfortunately!
No, its a nutrition deficiency, not stress
@@AnniemgSchmidt12 It was a joke!
Massage & good hygiene :]
Great video Kait -- my hair has never been stronger than on Carnivore & my scalp is so healthy.
All very good tips! My experience has been the same 😁
I started losing hair daily about two weeks ago.

Same! Ugh
Me too handfuls came out over the last few days 😢😢
Sometimes i feel the need to freshen and reset the palate...
So i added one or both of the following once or twice per week, and although not strict NO carb, for me gave an appetite boost...
The two items i added were;
Egg-flips - 4 x raw eggs whisked into 1 teaspoon of vanilla + 100ml of whipping cream (of the type with no added gelatines or 407a thickener). This netts 62gms x fat, 7.4gms x protein + 6.1 gms carbs,
Low carb cheese with smoked salmon.
I also eliminated garlic - i used to get beef burgers seasoned with garlic. I grew to realise the lingering smell on my breath was dampening my appetite.
I was losing hair before going carnivore-ish but this good info as it applies overall.
Keep me posted on how the iodine goes for you!
Lugal's iodine is best supplement or just eat sushi(seaweed) & shrimp. Iodinated salt has anti-caking agents that damage the arterial walls like tiny razor blades, then the body makes extra cholesterol to repair the damage like spackling a wall. So anti-caking agents in salt are responsible for a lot of artery damage and higher cholesterol.
dont forget theres vitamin A in grass fed diary as well. especially summer grass butter
👏👏
Good to know! I didn't realize Vit. A was also in grass fed dairy. 👍Another reason to eat more butter and cheese!
i started to consume significantly more fat and for the first time in 13 years my hair is not falling out.
👍👍
Do you measure out a certain percentage of fat to protein?
Keto and works so well for my pre diabetes I’m NOT hungry so I am probably not enough enough or enough protein. I have to force myself to eat- never thought I would say those words
Thanks for covering my requested topic 💜 - full of great information that is easy to follow 👍🏾
My hair started growing back on keto/ carnivore after loosing it thinning out all over as well as bald patches for 10* yrs

Me too. On Keto, I've lost 3/4 of my hair and it is growing very slow. 🙁

Hope you get it figured out soon ♥️
I use to not eat hardly no protein and I never had no hair loss. Now am eating more and my hair is falling out what gives.

For insulin resistance the fasting is great. I lost my “puffy”

I think if you / we are at a decent weight the fasting is not as important other than periodically if sick or want to clean out …but prioritizing protein is probably the key. Someday I’ll get this right :)
The recuirement for biotin gets higher when switching to fat oxidation.. Different enzymatic pathways that need biotin

Very helpful video, I’m very curious about all this. Could I ask how long you’ve been on the carnivore diet?
What would your recommendations be for Alopecia? My daughter is 25 and this is the 2nd time it's occurred. The first time she was in high school and took about a year to clear up. She didn't completely lose all her hair, but she had some pretty significant bald spots. Stress again has hit and it is starting again. This time she is also losing her lashes and eyebrows. Any info you could throw our way would be appreciated.
Raw milk
microneedling has been said to help people with Alopecia because it stimulates hair growth!
thyroid?
Limit radiation from cell phones
I was doing fine with keto, but since I’ve changed to carnivore my hair has been falling 😭😭
Probably eating low quality meat. My hair is booming on carnivore
Hair loss is a function of cortisol not being regulated by proteins and amino acids. Simply put more protein will protect your hair.

I am concerned because after 3 months full carnivore diet , I am still losing hair. should I be worried ...or better , what can I do to improve the situation thank you.
Thank you so much for this video.
Do you store your beef liver capsules in the refrigerator? Thanks
Also, Inositol has been my secret weapon for stopping hair loss in its tracks. Although some say it can kick you out of ketosis. Gotta pick your battles.
No, they are freeze-dried and can be kept at room temperature 🙂
I’m a bit leery of taking inositol. Wondering if you’re still taking it and have you had any side effects? Thanks!
Great video, thank you 💗. I recently had this issue, started in February and it’s almost gone now. But I realized I had covid 19 by then. Infections do that
Hope you are feeling better now ♥️
Health Coach Kait , Yes 😊, back to normal. Thank you,
*If you’re doing carnivore and are struggling for calories, then:*
1. Make sure you’re getting beef Talo / organic grass fed butter
2. Honey (maybe with blueberries)

Grass fed is not available for me. There is so much bad stuff in regular meats. Isn t that dangerous for keto quantities?
@@Heatherrosedef How are you doing? Did the hair loss stop and are you still doing Carnivore?

That’s the keto rash. It’s from intermittent fasting.
What about brittle nails Kait? Thanks!
Could also be caused by not enough protein. I'll make another video on that topic
Cool! Thanks so much! 🙂
in my case hair loss happens with all of the following:
poor protein absorption. im having around 100-150g protein every day and it was STILL falling out until i took ACV with each meal. thats one cause, solved as fast as overnight.
the stress of fasting & HIIT combined.
fasting-induced undernourishment: i did a 30 day water fast, no hair loss, but i should have stopped there. when i did back to back weeks of 48-96 hr fasts, thats when the hair fell out.
right now im in a situation where it feels like im starving 24/7 even during the last bite of bloating, high calorie, high fat meals (160g fat!). i eat plenty of beef liver, over 16 oz per week sometimes, within 2200-2500 calorie meals. not enough, starving after it. its more than just low common nutrients at this point.
Try digestive enzymes
I have been doing an „animal based“ keto diet for nearly 4 months now and I did not lose any hair.
How many IU’s of Vitamin A,D? Thanks!
Wait.. help me out... Dr berg says too much protien is the cause for hair loss sometimes... What??

ML Carver... I don't know if you'll ever see this but when I first started carnivore I was eating Braunshwieger almost every day cause I love it so... long story short, when I saw your comment I started Googling like mad... found out that Braunshwieger not only has liver in it, it has a TON of vitamin A. When I was eating it regularly I didn't have hair loss. I went to the store today, already ate some, & plan on continuing... cause the liver supplements are too expensive, plus I'd rather get my nutrients from food. Anyways, sorry for the book I just wrote lol, but maybe give Braunshwieger a try for any hair loss. Either way, good luck on your journey🌷

Best way to know is to have your iron levels tested! 🙂

What is the amount of protein and fat that I need to take in on carnivore bc I am losing hair like crazy.
