Keep in mind that on the new set there is a 3 mana 3/4 neutral that makes cards from other classes cost 1 less so you actually can make all those 1 mana buffs cost 0 in mage. Is tempo mage back?
Yeah I was thinking way more about mage abusing all the buffs that are 1 mana and the guy who reduces spell costs. It seems like a lot of easy mana cheat and amalgam being an infinite threat that can be given spell damage might be a problem too.
These cards could also break quest mage with mage and paladin 1 Mana drinks, 0-cost board for quest turn, aura to generate more cheap spells, tempo quest mage maybe, just like agrro zarimi shadow priest.
Thank you for the stream Zeddy! Glad for the card reveals, it keeps giving me hope for the game. Digging that sunscreen aura, it synergizes with the discount guy and the 10 cost spell!
Some thoughts: Divine Brew is Holy. For Mage, this means you can cross that spell school off the list for Sif for 1 mana. For Paladin, this makes Holy Glowsticks cost 1 mana. Additionally, all 3 uses are targetted, meaning that altogether the spell reduces Sea Shanty’s cost by 3, allowing it to come out a lot faster. The Sunscreens from Lifesaving Aura also help with this. Lifesaving Aura, its Sunscreens, and Holy Brew are all 1 mana, meaning Concierge in Mage can make them all free. With a highroll, Mage can potentially get Sea Shanty out as early as turn 4, and it’s reasonable for it to drop the shanty down on turns 5 or 6 regularly. Is that good enough, though? That remains to be seen.
Actually the optimal highroll sequence (I think) would be as follows: Turn 1: Lifesaving Aura Turn 2: Flame Geyser x2 Turn 3: Concierge + All 6 uses of Holy Brew + Sunscreen x2 + Sea Shanty x2, resulting in 35/37 on board turn 3 Now before anyone gets up in arms about this, you literally have to draw perfectly to get this. This is a 7 card combo on turn 3, meaning it’s only possible if you draw perfectly and are going second.
Does Service Ace have effect to Reno?? if it does make Reno cheaper and could be abusable, not nesessary strong but anyway. i have a feeling that Flood Pala might be even more stronger than it is ATM. Life saving aura might change things.
Divine brew is such a great design. Fits a lot of different strategies and seems super balanced while using mechanics we rarely see (divine shield on heroes, temp buffs on minions etc)
Why does the divine brew says "give a CHARACTER divine shield" ? I guess it surely is only minions but it is wierd wording since divine shield hero is a thing now
It specifying "Character" means it can target heroes. Divine Shield on hero was introduced in Festival of Legends with Paladin's Legendary spell (Which might actually see play now that there's more Holy spells to use with it)
Yes. Playing Brew will cause Groove to give your hero Divine Shield. Also, based on the wording, if you target your hero with the Brew, Groove should activate first so the Brew will give you +1 attack.
Divine brew looks like it will help with any decks that try to use holy spells and flickering lightbot. That card hasn't had its chance to shine yet but its good
The bot is bad because it has nothing but manacheat. It solves the Gigantify problem, but does nothing in exchange. This is a time of easy removal. Sure, against decks like Pally it's better, because Pally has very little field clears and prefers swarm or buff, but any deck from DK to Priest will either take it from you, ignore it or remove it. A do nothing card for a turn is pretty bad.
@@gankfrombush it means that the Flickering Lighbot is bad because it's just manacheat. You can remove it quite easy. It's not a good card. You do nothing the turn you summon it, then you hope to go face. Any deck can remove it, take it or just ignore it. How is that hard to understand?
@@dancorneanu9144 apparently mana cheat is bad according to this guy 😭😭 so preparation must be the worst card in the game. It literally does nothing when you play it! And your comment was hard to understand because you type like a neanderthal
i realy never understand why these blizzard devs always have to make paladin the strognest class in every season just don't get it you have shaman with awesome cards, warlock but these devs insist on stupid paladin class
You can also do some positioning shenans with cheap Rush minions and Dire Wolf Alpha so the Ace keeps getting buffed by the wolf every time you trade a cheap rusher.
Gotta say, I am SO GLAD they didn't push handbuff anymore in this expansion. Pushing handbuff effects as an arvhetype has been so boring and unfun. It's fine when there's one card that is individually good that gives your hand +1/+1, but I hope they never again try to push it as an archetype, It's been such a bad idea.
Based on this cards? The 10 mana one that is good in librams? The wild deck? Your best bet is to use that aura and buff something like the new minion card. All that to summon 5/5 pirates. On what turn do you think those 5/5 are online? It needs a few more cards to quickly buff something on field, otherwise you ain't discounting that anywhere near a quick turn.
How? Most of these cards are better in mage due to the neutral that makes these cards cost 0. I think zeddy missed that, but I am excited to play a holy lightbot deck even if it’s bad
4:31 they added zeddy to the game POG
Blizzard was like "I don't think paladin is strong enough yet, they need more insane cards"
These cards suck tho
Paladin only got 1 card, and it's neutral...
Zeddyrino Skipperino 0:48
>summons 3 Pirates
>artwork has 4 pirates
How do they fuck this up so regularly?
Likely just means it used to summon 4 pirates until they realized that 0 mana 20/20 is fucking stupid.
Who knew that the best lifesaver was just three bottles of sunscreen
Keep in mind that on the new set there is a 3 mana 3/4 neutral that makes cards from other classes cost 1 less so you actually can make all those 1 mana buffs cost 0 in mage. Is tempo mage back?

cant believe they used your likeness for a card
Idk, but service ace LOOKS way more like Zeddy than beached Whale does. :))
These cards really make that libram Paladin in wild hella scary, looking forward to see if that breaks the meta (probably not because of Rougestone)
These cards could also break quest mage with mage and paladin 1 Mana drinks, 0-cost board for quest turn, aura to generate more cheap spells, tempo quest mage maybe, just like agrro zarimi shadow priest.
"rouge" is what you put on your face
Lifesaving aura makes no sense as it should be a lifesaver as that’s what’s being thrown to her.
In Wild, Mr. Smite and double Sea Shanty with Crusader Aura up for OTK...
Divine Brew will finally make my Light's Sorrow deck viable!
Imagine a quality comment here
Get ready to get rekt by pally this expansion people , forgot the other classes it will be pally mirrors until nerfs trust me
Get ready to CONTINUE getting rekt by pally*
Every expansion pally or hunter is just allowed to be disgusting and they get weak nerfs
Heck, we haven't even seen Pally's true power yet... Since they get Rogue cards this expansion we've got more reveals for them tomorrow...
Thank you for the stream Zeddy! Glad for the card reveals, it keeps giving me hope for the game. Digging that sunscreen aura, it synergizes with the discount guy and the 10 cost spell!
Give a character divine shield including your hero
With handbuff Service ace have to gain attack also.
Wild is looking so fun and interesting!😃😃 can not wait
Does Service Ace trigger if it is in your hand? I think no.....
It doesn't say so, I'd assume it's only an in-play effect.
Some thoughts: Divine Brew is Holy. For Mage, this means you can cross that spell school off the list for Sif for 1 mana. For Paladin, this makes Holy Glowsticks cost 1 mana.

Service Ace reminds you of a random card instead of the mirror?
Thank god they decided to add some good cards to Pally they were really lacking in this current expansion.
Hey Zeddy. Do you know what happened to TrumpHs? No card reveals from him? Or new videos?
Does Service Ace have effect to Reno?? if it does make Reno cheaper and could be abusable, not nesessary strong but anyway. i have a feeling that Flood Pala might be even more stronger than it is ATM. Life saving aura might change things.
With all the options for raising a minions attack in Paladin, this is technically a 0-2 mana 3/3 on a good turn, not amazing still but could see play
Paladin didn't get any interesting cards! All these cards are trash! Paladin will stay with the HANDBUFF deck, these new cards are a disappointment!
service ace seems like a libram card aswell
So, since paladin can have divine shield, divine brew can be cast on the hero since it reads “character”?
Rip the legendary spell from Festival of Legends
Question is if service ace buffing in hand gets mana cheat. If so… may be scary but on board only would limit it comparatively.
Who would've ever thought that a sunscreen would one day show up as a Paladin spell in Hearthstone. The card designs are so wacky this expansion.
Divine brew is such a great design. Fits a lot of different strategies and seems super balanced while using mechanics we rarely see (divine shield on heroes, temp buffs on minions etc)
2:16 I see what you did there
When assessing Lifesaving aura, you forgot to acknowledge that it was end of your turn, making it significantly worse
Divine Brew works well with Jitterbug for some card draw while trading (You also have Funkfin for more synergy)
I have a deck with those 2 and the card still looks trash.
These cards might be going into my wild holy maki roll deck, they look so good. Paladin stays winning
This is gonna make the rogue reveals potential juicy since that class loves to target things.
Sea shanty is a reference to runescape . This card with is package is completely busted
Why intro always so loud?
It hurts my ears every time 😢
You know it's coming and do nothing about it so it's your own fault.
In the good old days there was a thing called a volume knob. In current days there is a thing called volume settings, which may look like knob.
Same
Eardrums BUH-ROKEN!
HEY
Oh hey a new 10 mana spell, so basically Tendrils are BACK babyyy
Divin brew 3/5😂😂 this and sea shanty one of those is getting nerfed 100%
I knew I should've crafted handbuff paladin
Fun fact: Robots aren’t typically made of bones.
another aggro buff package for paladin yyaaaayyyyy cant wait
Mage can use the Sea Shanty right?
If they discover it, it'd be amazing ngl
isnt lifesaving aura the only holy spell for sif?
No?
Both Divine Brew and Power Spike are also Holy spells.
@@tarille1043 oh yeah i guess i am stupid. Well anyways the tourist brings one more spell type to sif anyways
Lifesaving aura - why yes buffs can save my minions lives.
Huge chaotic tendril buff 💪🏼💪🏼
sea shanty with the mini set legendary and u get 6 5/5 wow! 😭
3/5 for divine brew? it's legit 5/5 card
Nice clickbait title its not 15/15 its 3x 5/5 cards...
See shanty in my quest pally deck in wild 😂
Why does the divine brew says "give a CHARACTER divine shield" ?
I guess it surely is only minions but it is wierd wording since divine shield hero is a thing now
Maybe they are doing what the Festival spell did. You also want cheap ways to buff. Buffing heroes i's one way.
It specifying "Character" means it can target heroes.
Divine Shield on hero was introduced in Festival of Legends with Paladin's Legendary spell (Which might actually see play now that there's more Holy spells to use with it)
Smite exists... Not in standard but still
omg can we stop the love for paladin
There more Pirates and rum!
Yeah Sea Shanty seems good.
As a mage main, I'm getting depressed.
Sea shanty will be broken in mage
Sea shanty can be the part of quest mage. Spam the board and give it a turn to get ready.
Spell 10 mana tantacol is back 😂😂
Sea shanty is the most melodic spell
Would Divine Brew work with Starlight Groove?
Yes. Playing Brew will cause Groove to give your hero Divine Shield.
Also, based on the wording, if you target your hero with the Brew, Groove should activate first so the Brew will give you +1 attack.
Well at last that card will help the tendris
That aura wtf ??? Thats broken.

service ace art work is so ugly
Holy shit sea shanty is broken
Don’t forget auras can stack so you can get a lot of buffs going early on.
Paladin will be broken again?
Wtf is this paladin bullshit
Service Ace is the Zeddy card. Looks the same to me!
wonder if Service Ace works with hand buffs, but probably not.
In general, text on minions only functions when they're in play unless it specifies that it works when in hand.
Zeddy, 1:59 its paladin!
Mana Cheat Good, not Bad
Divine brew can also target your own hero. It's really good against giant rogue and warlocks
I mean if it's that important... Run Starlight Groove and your hero gets Divine Shield when you cast the brew on ANY target...
I think the Service Ace works in hand too, like handbuff proc the effect.
no. You need the card to be on field to do that. It's supposed to be used with cheap buff spells.
i really like the set. could be fun :)
Service Ace ➡ Zeddy
5 dmg aoe is rare

Keep up the good work, Zeddy
Service ace got the dad bod lol
Mage looking pretty good now
STOP calling these cards 15/15 its not a 15/15 its 3 5/5 that you can clear with a flamestrike for example.. you CANT clear a 15/15 with a flamestrike
Does Service Ace work when it gains attack while in hand ?? Handbuff synergy?
No. It needs to be buffed on field.

Windfury charge handbuff pirate paladin 😄😄👌👌
