    Or as I like to call it "Hold 8 Coins the entire game because both Wishing Wells are literally the last 2 cards in your deck" Rogue.

      I can already see people using it > getting one of those high cost cards > then cry. Even tho over half of your deck cards cost 1-3 mana - doesn't mean you're gonna get 4 draws that you play right away, and in case of secret passage you do instantly - without extra annoying condition.

    The only reason Knicknack Shack is at all scary is because you get to bank the (fairly costed) 3 mana one turn and then get the value the next turn, like reverse overload. Rogue has cheaper ways to draw cards than this, ones that don’t brick if you hit one of your actual payoff cards like Edwin or Drakka as well. It’s a good card in Miracle Rogue sure, but it’s not going to be the best card in the deck still.

      I still think this location is going to get nerfed. I'm callling 1 durability nerf, and then in the future another one... draw only gets better with expansions...

      @@Cuestrupaster I would be somewhat surprised, as it becoming effectively a 3 mana draw 3 at best would seem really mediocre. We’ve seen a card like Backfire in Warlock, and while Rogue could benefit more from their own low curve with miracle deck shenanigans, that also is still rather vulnerable too, both in how easy it is to brick by hitting one of your 5 “pop off” cards or how vulnerable they could be to removal. It could be strong, but Standard Rogue doesn’t have a full suite of tools for it, and Wild Rogue just has better forms of card draw, though this one does have its niches and quirks.

Clearly this is beneath cards like Secret Passage and Gear shift in terms of draws per mana, and that ignores the real chance at any time for this to be below rate in draws. It lets you bank mana for a stronger pop off turn, but that also means letting your opponent set up longer for a counterplay.

      Idk. 3 mana is pretty expensive for wild. Also rogue's list are refined to a point were adding more draws means getting rid of your win con.

    Knickknack Shack is really interesting but I don’t know how busted it’ll be. It’s Kingpin Edwin’s effect but capped at 4 cards, doesn’t give you the huge body, and you can’t shadowstep it.

    Knickknack Shack feels like a worse version of the Stormwind Edwin (remember when they buffed that card? It was one of the dumbest balance changes lmao) until you consider you can play it and activate it a turn later to try and chain those draws from full mana, which could be quite strong. You can also have it reopen and not use it until next turn if your mana gets low, which gives it really strong flexibility rather than being full-on feast or famine.

    It’s secret passage you can taper off when you think you won’t be able to use it again (for example, split it over two turns and not waste the draw when you’re low on mana)

      Also oh manager is literally two damage for one total mana as you bank the other for later when you want it and can use to enable combos.

    The location will not get nerfed because it only draws 1 card on turn 3 unless you find exactly Prep or Shadowstep. So the draw is usually very delayed. You can skip turn 3 and activate this on turn 4, but how many activations on turn 4 do you actually consider realistic? I think 2 on average is reasonable to assume. So you skip turn 3, draw 2 cards on turn 4 and then draw the rest on turn 6? That doesn't seem broken at all. It also has the downside that you kinda limit your deckbuilding. Drawing a Tess, for instance, will almost always automatically end the draw chain. You also need to play enough cards that you actually want to use in the situation when you activate the location. Imagine drawing removal with nothing to remove on the board, for instance. So yeah, I think you overestimate the location, and you honestly underestimate the weapon buffer. THAT is the card we should be worried about because it turns Pick Axe into a draw 4, it turns handbuff into a +5/+5...that is crazy good and will likely see a nerf of some sort

    as a rogue main, we really dont need more card draw, its the last thing rogue needs, we need some actual value, like i have a full hand most of the match on most matches, we need some actual value / synergy cards that have impact on the game, i see lots of coin generation, so maybe they could add a card that has an strong impact depending on how many coins you have used or something like that.

      Well... At the very core of it, Combo requires more than average draw. Since if you have to play 2 cards when you want to play a card it means you need to have more cards available to allow this.
      Outside of that... It's because they design Rogue one dimensionally. They only give Rogue Aggro/Miracle/Combo archetypes which means lots of draw and degenerate mana cheat.
      They've never bothered to give Rogue a value or control based archetype and are the singular class in Hearthstone to be this way (Yes, both DH and Hunter have both had slower archetypes with things like Midrange and Big Beast Hunter and Big Demon DH being a common, albeit failed, archetype).
      Even Rogue's Burgle archetype has been largely a meme outside of when it was being a degenerate aggro deck with Gnolls and mana cheating out Jackpot spells (Then replaying them all with Contraband Stash)

      Yes but no because you can keep your hand so you can keep coin and prep +4 cards and if somehow you brick and get a card you can't play you can keep and try again after 2 turns since location removal isn't trivial.

    Looks like all coins become innervate with paladin. Could be the dawn of miracle paladin with all this coin generation

      It's not all coins, it's just coins you play while Lynessa is on the board.
      As far as Miracle Paladin goes... They don't have that good a draw to Miracle through their deck, even with this location. I don't think any of the coin stuff will see play in Paladin it's just too awkward with not much to really get from it (Like even in Rogue, the coin generation stuff is literally only used for Wishing Well and no other deck bothers with it and the same will hold true for these coin generators too)
      With how busted Handbuff Pally is going to be... I can't see any "Miracle" decks popping up.

      it depends partially on how ubiquitous our friendly tradable viper is. It can be bricky too since you aren't going to want to be playing it until at least turn 6 with a coin, probably turn 7. It has potential, but you really want to be killing your opponent by after the 3rd swing. I wouldn't be surprised if this is win more, especially with a whole rogue pool of cards to potentially optimize further than normally possible. Power creep will be insane this rotation, and a lot of cards that might make the cut today probably won't next expansion.

    i Don't see knickknack being so broken. 3 mana draw 4, in one turn if you buid a whisp penguin deck. You'd need to coin knick turn 2 into knick turn 3 then execute the combo turn 4, where you can possibly play giants, for free, but you really have to play multiple cards and hope you don't draw giants early.

    As someone who more or less only play Rogue, and has been doing that since closed beta... I don't think these cards will be all that impactful. For Rogue specifically. Oh Manager seems fine, but the rest are just eh. I never really rate Thief Rogue stuff any high though. Seems fine for Paladin however, better there.

    It's funny to say, but the rogue location is probably to slow for wild. Setting up something on turn 3 is way to slow, and if you coin it out on 2 you probably already can play giants instead. I would rate it a solid 2 or 3 out of 5

    Knicknack shack isnt that impressive. Rogue has always had stupid csrd draw and it damages your play pattern/can whiff super hard. Im betting itll see play but its not gonna be something people complain about too much

    Rogue will kill wild and destroy standard for a week or two until those card get nerf. Handbuff pirate paladin will problably be brokem too.

      I don't think that this location would go in mirracle rogue bc it looks weak and it is not spell sadly, it is better to I don't know play sprint with prep for the same effect but instant and not spending 1-3 turns for that... For standart? Maybe it is as good as previous rogue location that makes pirates from 1/1 to 5/5.

      @@impkiller5932 I don't agree sprint+prep is 2 cards for the same effect and you just spend prep you could have used to play one of the 4 cards you draw.
      I don't think that location is as good as secret passage but is probably a really good engine for a combo miracle play. Being a location give you the advantage of drop on 3 and wait to use to full combo on 4 something SP doesn't give you.

      @@pettking7137 prep + sprint is 2 cards and it is 2 spells they reduce giant cost on 2, this is location it is not a spell = bad card. It is too expensive like rn I am playing rogue twisted pack + finley to draw 5 cards for 2 mana and make my gnolls cost 0 + 0 mana obsidian shards. Why would I want a 3 mana draw 4 in like 2-3 turns when I can draw 5 cards on turn 1 with coin or prep?

      Want to go back in time? As in before the last 2 years. Paladin was the meme "a million archetypes that don't work", "overcosted, fair cards" and "random garbage from every tribe". Best deck it ever had was Librams. It was on the second position, if not first on the list of weak classes. Priest was first, but it always came back with another annying ghimick. Compared to Warlock, who was number one. Or Druid. DH? Just in the last year it had a deck with high win rate vs every class. Then you had Mage, a good class, that went from good to "Yugioh style" to "random spells go face". Rogue agro is the only good it had. Others are meme. Even this cards are too "fair" for normal Rogue shenanigans.

    Ah sweet more miracle stuff. I can't wait to see my opponent vomit their whole deck, throw down 20+ power in one single turn, and make it nearly impossible for me to win in wild. So nothing's actually changed in that case.

    Rogue is not struggling like u think, in rankings looks they are struggling but that not true, the reason is 90 percent of people who play HS dont know how to play Rogue Decks, need a lot of skills and brain thinking...
