Tsunami also has a signature version, making it the first signature spell
reward track card then probably?
Under the sea seems terrible
The bug problem with under the sea is that if you run it, you probably run two and that means you can hit a six cost spell and 6 mana summon a random 6 cost and draw a spell is definitely not good enough
It can't draw itself.
Give me the bundle please !!!
Rising Waves looking pretty good for Druid as a legitimate board clear. Add some spell damage to it and it's a consistent clear.
Oh, _finally_ a new card art for Water Elemental. Treants have been getting different ones since forever.

i always press "1", then it jumps to 10% of video lenght, which often turns out when he is talking interesting stuff ^^
cringe

I can't believe you forgot Spiteful Summoner when reviewing Under the Sea! What a card that was, good times.
The spell should’ve been 5 mana, most 10 drops don’t feel great edit: holy crap tsunami is insane
under the sea needs taunt on it or its bad, look at warlocks handlock card that summons a taunting demon. no taunt= mid card.
oooh fuck yea big spell mage is back!
now onto hoping it's playable and doesn't just get run over by pirates ;p
Under the Sea just seems so bad. Unlike Primordial it doesn't tutor your highest cost and it doesn't even have the decency to have any conditional like "Draw a spell that costs (5) or more"
Like, current "Big Spell Mage" will want to run cheaper spells to fill out Celestial Orb. So it's not like you can guarantee value by running ONLY expensive stuff.
Love how this 5 drop has better stats than Shaeldras.
they gotta do something if it's gonna be playable, I legit don't think I ever saw anyone play sheldras lol
Under the sea is *neat*
Its a cool idea, but it has the potential to just be wasted 6 Mana if you happen to draw into a low mana spell. At least with Primordial Protector you have a 6/6 body on the board as collateral
It might need to much build-around. You probably don't want to play this in a deck that plays spells below 6 mana or so, so you gotta go big. Might be a combo tool that draws you that one highly important big spell in your deck.
Primordial also tutors specifically your highest cost spell...
@@tarille1043yeah, but there's still that element of chance depending on when you play him. But, still, its a superior card in basically every way.
@@filipvadas7602 There's literally no element of chance. You ALWAYS get the biggest spell you have available in your deck.
No matter when you play him, you get the highest cost spell possible.
@@tarille1043in the sense that if you happen to draw into your highest (10, 9, 8) spells before you get him I mean.
promordial protector was played cause you usually got more stats than paid in, you got a 6/6 body AND your spells body. this new card sucks cause its a spell, I knwo they want spell mage to work but they suck at designing cards, they havent had to balance this game in years
And besides that the primordial protector drew your HIGHEST cost spell, Under the Sea could draw a low cost spell and suck
I mean it's two mana cheaper, but yeah mage definitely needs some love
But this card is 2 mana cheaper, 6 mana 10-10 is more impactful then 8 mana whatever stats you put
I mean I think that card isn't meant to go in all spell mage it's more meant to go in a deck of mostly if not all big spells you're supposed to cheat out. Otherwise they wouldn't be adding minion support for it.
@@unioncare2055 still how reliable is a mage deck containing only high cost spells? The best mage deck atm is no minion mage and that decks tops out at 5-6 mana
how the hell is tsunami a frost spell :D ...blizzard pls fix
Perils in Paradise give away please.
Howabunga😃
Under the sea really needs that discover mechanic to make it even playable.
it needs to draw your highest card, and be 7 mana
It would e better to draw high. Random draw is pretty bad, but they expect us to run big spells. That's a problem with mana, as you don't want them early.
if it wasnt structured on top of rng "yogg in box" and "orb", Im sure it would be a good archetype, reminiscient of better big spell mage days.
Calling mage trash. Like trash trash. Like below 40% wr trash. Maybe even around 30%.
how do win the bundle
Tsunami seems like another fun variation of Nagrand Slam. Might be used as a finisher.
The effects of the cards is kinda weird to understand in the flavor context, like, how the Surfalopod is making the spell cast when draw, and how under the see is drawing and summoning?
I don't understand why (to make money....) they did a historic nerfing spree just to raise the power level to the degree they are with this expansion.
Big spell Mage might be playable because if playing Elementals there is a decent package of Eles to buy you time until turn 6+.The problem with big spell decks is that you will have no low cost spells meaning you fight for the board only with minions.
The problem with Tsunami is cheap cards like Bladestorm that will destroy all 3 3/6 eles so these type of cards need to be better by making the Eles stats all different.
Instead of seeing more lame mana cheating cards ....boring I want to see cards that allow players to interact with opponent plays like Steam Cleaner back in Standard is a MUST as well AOE silence and even returning that beat silence to 1 or 2 cost and also put back in to Standard.
Saying it now, big mage is going to be problematic. Way too much freeze + tsunami is tutorable by watercolour artist. Lots of people also sleep on Yogg in the Box in a deck that includes minions
Sufalopod into stargazing for projection orb twice .. I wonder will it work?
If they give Mage or a neutral class card a new low cost minion that draws a spell in your deck, then I would say Big Mage deck could be competitive.
Play Surfalopod on 5 and then under the sea on 6 to draw AND CAST a 10cost spell as well as the 10drop body
Under the sea feels underwhelming... I guess it's usable in spell mage. I just wish they would add a new playable mage secret
I am wondering Zeddy, is this your normal voice this annoying shouting? 😁 I mean I get it its probably better to act like u r so hyped about the cards but for me the normal voice would be better :D
GIVE ME MEGA PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZ OMG imma comment on every video until its gone
Tsunami is an Insanely flexible card that can win you the game if you can cheat it out early. Enemy has no board they take 9 damage, if they have a board of small divine shield minions than 3 are frozen and you are left with 3 elementals to hopefully freeze 3 more minions and if they have a few big minions your better off using low cost freeze spells but you can stall for a turn to hopefully draw into lethal, more stall or a board clear.
I gotta say I'm a bit disappointed so far with the cartoonish card design again and those mage cards are really not that good at the moment... I wish the Devs will understand we want badass cards not some octopus doing some surf which is immersion breaking for me.
When you look at some Dk cards at reveals the design were coherent and badass,
Nowadays we'll see decks with no cohesion in the design's because you have to fill it with good cards even if that implies bad looking Murlock or whatever,
The theme of the expansion being "tourists" and beach 🏖️ is Really NOT appealing to me...
Hope the mechanics will be good though...
this is basically that warrior recruit card
aka tempo armour warrior thing that never worked
Under the sea is WAY too expensive. Should be 2 or 3 mana or be Discover at least
Nagrand Slam was 10 mana to get worse minions. Tsunami is 8 mana to get -1 minion plus a good keyword? I take it all day
Mage/druid looking good so far! P.S. Zeddy loves Priest.
I like Tsunami, it remembers me of Deep Freeze and Nagrand Slam
3:20 Pit Fighter is crying!
Under the sea is too expensive it can’t work too slow as someone who only plays mage and dh
i feel like Under the Sea and Rising Waves could be nature spells idkk
just alot of random bullcrap, looks dogshit if this is gonna be good in the meta
Good Luck ya all^^
Mage is so cool. First class ive ever played
I'm not sure how I feel about big spell mage being in play again.
I think he knows the next turist card and spoiled by accident
thanks for informing us zeddyyyyy so clear and fast
I think the keyboard might make under the sea playable
Zeddy for the love of big spell mage let me make you go broke
Zeddy will soon cry for nerfs and be malding 😂
Water elemental should be called ice elemental.
Big spell mage is super fun, so no problems with this
Under the sea is a 0 star card honestly, horrible
Wait why does Druid have access to this?
Might need to try out some spell mage this set
Wash your hands immediately!
*in wade barrett voice* TSSSSSSSSSUUUUUUUNNNNAAAAMMMMIIIIIIIII
Is it the return of spell mage???
Tsunami is good but kind of borning.
HS suck but i cannot stop playing it
Rising Wave is probably actually decent. One of the problems that some classes face these days is that their 2 damage AoE spells don't work because most things have 3 health, whereas this spell can deal up to 4 damage to remove those larger boards.
The downside is it has Bladestorm syndrome, where it can be messed with by a lower health minion preventing the extra damage.
Wait, druid can use all mage cards? Finally druid Get access to some boardclears
Only from thia expension, they cant play like flamestrike
atleast arts of the cards look good
Can someone explain why druid can use these? I dont see dual class art on any of them?
druid will get a mage tourist
if you don't know what they are, go to the reveal video (or blizzard post), it's all explained there
Love the designs of these cards.
Everything related to strong minions is so depressing. They can be obliterated so fast. Thaddius, Deathwing, even the guys with more than 10 stats are made of plastic. Primordial Protector at least works like two minions, not one, plus he gives your highest spell cost.
Love the big spell mage!
Mage is my favorite.
I like the idea of under the sea and surfalopod but mage probably still wants to play cheap spells, I am unconvinced atm
Turn 5 Surfalopod, turn 6 Under the Sea into Casts When Drawn Survival of the Fittest.
surfalopod looks good for big spell mage ironically enough, Im suprised one of these cards looks playable. i expect to see that card if we have a way for mage to draw cards whilst at 0 mana. (spell mage skull of guldan wont work this no spell)
For under the sea it feels like something you wouldn’t put into a spell only deck. The you will have consistency issues and cannot fill your early curve with anything as you won’t have minions and low costs spells will hurt it drastically. It would probably see okay in a deck similar to how grand archivist was ran in priest with amber. Run only expensive spells and minions to go face you could run under the sea surfalopod and tsunami together
Why does he say in "druid the duell calss isnt coformed yet
All the class combos have been confirmed lol
Check out the giveaway video, he goes over the different class combos.
New water elemental art! Would they go back and fill in the other cards that summon that token??
Under the salty sea^^
Need some top of deck manipulation, wasn't there a card revealed recently that helped with that?
super lame reveals, the only interesting card looks like incindius or the cheese dragon.
Tsunami is just decent AOE. autoinclude Tourist Mage
0:57 skip the bullshit
Nerfy the boom bossy
Tsunami looks actually good
so if druid gets a good tourist card, then rising waves could be ran in reno druid?? i guess? as a board wipe, since druids lack that
The hype begins
Looking spicy
Man, that Davi Smith guy just molding out here.
Big Mage!
"Hmmm.... IT seems our big spell archetype wasn't working well... What if we just add mana cheat to it to bring it in line with other faster decks"
Big Spell was always about mana cheating your big spells out.
Interesting
Big cards
Looks cool
Nice
Hype
Again, loving the love Frost Mage is getting recently. Its my personal favorite archetype for Mage so getting a card like Tsunami is GREAT
any mage deck plays this, and druid for that matter with dual class. I feel like this card should not be able to go face, and it will probably read that way 2 weeks after release.
ive been waiting to go mage.. im hitting legend with warrior, started making a hunter class. i had a decent shaman but realized i made my strategy too specific cards arent just drawn the way you want all the time either. i want a horde skin mage before i make one i know jaina had helped thrall they also fought a bit, so idk playing elden ring and seeing all the different magic you can do outside of physical weapon damage really got me into the magic casting side of fantasy worlds!
How can you review Rising waves and not compare it to blade storm from warrior, same card just 2 damage at a time, could be a little better or a little worse
I don't see how they're the same.
Blade storm repeats until a minion dies whereas Rising Waves deals maximum 4 dmg
tsunami is unanimously a good card if big spell mage has other options to manacheat besides skull of guldan
the new elemental that draws a frost spell could work but it just LOOKS too slow, I doubt it will be fast enough to work.
Keep up the good work, Zeddy
Polkeath+surfalopod
Little mermaid song ahhhh spell
Imagine Mage with ramp cards
Mage has another tourista class its not like dual cards
