It's not. You will be better off by playing Overlord Runthak in handbuff. It might be good only if big paladin will become a thing

It's absolutely broken in handbuff paladin you get an outfitter with rush that Can't be killed and buffs a minions attack by lets say +6 attack every turn...
@@Begeru i haven't figured that attack transfers into location. Then yes, it's a great handbuff card
Sanc’Azel is basically the location version Remoria, Living Blade
The interesting difference between the two minions is that while Remoria can be buffed as weapon, Sanc'Azel can't be enhanced as location BUT it can be healed far more easily as a minion in paladin than warrior for Remoria.
I wonder if the attack buff gets affected by the minion's attack. That would be cool in handbuff strategy.

Sanc’azel has a diamond version, making it the first ever diamond location card (I’m assuming it turns into a diamond location), and Power Spike has a signature version

Lifeguard is a kind of modern "heal a billion"-style HS card I've started to hate more and more. Other examples being Unkilliax, Unleash Fel or DK/Hunter hound. I feel like lifesteal shouldn't be available so easily on such high numbers.
Sanc’Azel is basically a Remoria but you can transform it until it dies as long as there are minion on the board
I wonder if the sancazel location will grant attack equal to the buffed sancazel minion prior transformation

@@locogato3488 Oh sorry, I thought I was replying to another question :D Since the buff is indicated by the number 3, I'm 99% sure the attack value will always be 3. Otherwise the location would read "give attack and rush based on the minion's attack" or something.
Hands down one of the best expansions already and it’s not because of the theme or a cool legendary. Hearthstone is using this expansion to make expand on new design space for the game and I think it’s gonna lead to a much fresher hearthstone experience for everyone !
5mana Remornia Paladin sounds broken, probably going to get nerfed especially the handbuff meta going on 💀

Remornia was one of the most interesting unique designs they had come up with, I loved stuffing it into any warrior deck I could and building combos around it, glad the effect is returning.
Sanc’Azel and show down could setup a cool OTK if you have one free minion to buff.
Sanc'Azel, like sandcastle, this is such an awesome card. In Paladin it will be very good with buffs, but In Mage you can cast Go with the Flow on it, then turn it into a location, never use it again and you have permanent Spell Damage.
Except if your opponent have Reno

A for creativity but I'm not sure the transformed location retains spell damage. You can bank it for when you want to use it on a blowout turn, but not sure if that is worth the effort.

I have tried this with Remornia before, I gave minion Remornia Spell Damage +1 with Ethereal Augmerchant and it kept it as a weapon.

So for Paladin, You just need to trade and survive to replay the location that need. Not spending mana, unlike Mage's and Druid's

I tried a classic style agroo Demon Hunter deck based on board and face damage but a handbuff paladin outhealed the shit out of my perfect opening
Of course they need a 4 mana 2/7 taunt granting his next Spell lifesteal 😅
I wonder if Demolition Renovator (3 mana 3/3, tradeable, battlecry: destroy an enemy location) will see some play now that there's even more locations, and some pretty strong ones as well.
does sanc have charge the turn after it transforms from a location on subsequent turns? That old warrior sword legendary didn't but that left the field to go to the weapon zone. My guess would be no but that would raise the power level substantially if it did.
Lifeguard doesn't have holy wrath synergy tho, because you really want to order in the court first, and lifeguard into order in the court is mega KEKW

Zeddy something to note it is confirmed that SancAzel attack is tied to the buff on the location so you can give a minion +4 attack if sanAzel is buffed to 4 attack

Wow. What an incredible legendary Sanc is. It sure would be a shame if his unique form of protection got completely invalidated by a 9 mana idiot that deletes “everything”.
I'd rather there be a way to remove it than no way to remove it, though I agree Reno should be changed a bit (personally I think it should be a duel where the effect is two way but it summons a random minion from each player's hand, and killing their minion brings the removed stuff back).
Also remember that in wild there is a tech card for locations which might see more play now: Demolition Renovator (3 mana 3/3, tradeable, battlecry: destroy an enemy location).
Reno and zilliax getting nerfed, and reno decks are already struggling without the nerf. I think it’s in a fine place right now lol, especially with all the locations coming up I think it’s decent to have some type of removal for them at least.

Why does paladin get burn now?
They've always had some burn. Avenging Wrath, Holy Wrath, Consecration, Hammer of Wrath, Eye for an Eye...
It's thematically appropriate given their class in WoW has had some damaging spells, albeit few in number.
They probably get a little more this expansion because they're sharing their cards with Mage and Blizzard don't like giving Mage anything but "Hurr durr me spell go face"

@@LiveErrors They don't have to be 3-4 hp they just need to be 3+ for it do do its damage.
It's also not that rare... Hunter and Paladin flood the board all the time and drop Zilliax buffing them to 4+ health.

Why is Power Spike 6 Mana and not 4 Mana? Firelands Portal had to be buffed to 7 Mana deal SIX and summon a SIX MANA minion. Power Spike is *basically* 6 mana deal 4 summon a 4/4. Soooo bad. Wtf

If it was 4 mana they'd be able to discount it to 2... Which could then combo into Holy Glowsticks being 1 mana...
@@tarille1043 Holly cowboy it's also a mana cost. So you have to set it up before the turn you do the 2 card combo.

So in order to avoid any potential issues with these cards... They just made the thing cost 6 mana.
@@tarille1043 So the combo is one Legendary, one mana cheat that just discounts 2 from one with it's own cost, in 2 turns for 8 damage and 8 in stats. That is a bad combo in standard. Wild would augh at it and wild crushes decks like this before they even try anything. DK has a free snatch one, that can be revived with more pluses, Pally has more in stats for less, druid can fill the board, Mage does more damage (and it is currently not doing good), hunter floods the board way before, Priest and Warrior clear etc. All for one less.
Heck, ant an actual wining combo try the minion into location in handbuff. That will also take 2 turns, needs a bunch of setup, it's reliant on drawing a specific hand, but it can be on otk. That is payoff for using horrible comboes like this. This? At 4 mana it's nothing.
