Totally agree! The Cult are seriously awesome but live music gigs can't be replicated on a phone as per the description on everything I post. I'm just grateful to have the memories to relive what was an amazing show and keep my fingers crossed I get an opportunity to see them again 🤘
Totally agree, in person the atmosphere is palpable. Been wanting to see them for years...blew me away. Saw them supporting Alice Cooper also. Long Live The Cult. Probably the most underrated rock band of all time.
I've been a long time cult fan but I get disappointed in the way Ian sings a lot of the songs live. Me personally I think you should sing the song the as close as possible to the way it was recorded when it became a fan favorite. That's the way fans loved it . His vocals sound terrible like he forgot the words and the crowd was disappointed you can tell
I didn't get any sense that the crowd was disappointed on the night and you can't tell anything about the vibe from a phone recording. Agree they don't sing as close to the studio material as some other artists do live but this was my 3rd show and it was a great show!
Cure song?? 😂.. this is their song. Ian Astbury clearly singing it since before you were born. First time I saw him do it in Birmingham UK in 1986. And hes still rocking it 38 years later! Incredible. Always best live.. with The Cult you have to be there.
@@10000pmc 100% agree! You definitely have to be there which is why the video description says "Live music gigs cannot be replicated on a phone and are always way better in person ...".
Saw them in Manchester, wow just wow. Doesn't come across on a video as you can't replicate the atmosphere. They're awesome

3rd time ! 😊Totally agree ! Amazing band 🎤🎸🎶💓
I saw them in Perth, and they were great!
You are very lucky. The CULT rule💯
Saw them in Seattle.
Great show.
Still sounding fantastic! ❤
I'll definitely be buying tickets to multiple shows next time they play in Australia (and hopefully it's not 8 years before they do!)
What is he wearing 😮
when your 62 you can wear anything 😅
I love The Cult. Ian rocks that school ma'am dress and shoes! 🤘🤘🤘 Only Mr Astbury can get away with it!💥
Lmfao!!!
Oops lmfao😊
@@lawrenceadler4325 whoa 62? He looks fabulous

Love the cult but the performance seems muffled and not a lot of energy
They are over 50 doll! Lol I only hope my energy gets better at that age
You have to be there. Billy Duffy's riffs and Astburys power and movement. Still working

They just destroyed one of my favourite cure songs! Is that the usual man singing? Bloody awful!
But it was such a fantastic tune. FFS!
A Cure song? I think not. You're clearly not a fan of The Cult if you have to ask who is singing.
Claramente no es fan ni de The Cult ni de The Cure 😢@@michellequee9714
