1994 in Hawaii. BEST CONCERT I EVER BEEN TO. THEY RIPPED IT UP!! AND, it was their second consecutive night. I was sore for a week. Sadly, Ian can't cut quite it like he used to. Still not bad, though.
I see 3 musicians and a vocalist They need a second 🎸 guitarist badly . Pretty empty but they still nail it ! Sound great ! Saw them in the 80’s when Guns and Roses were their back up band lol!
Boy that was KILLER!!! Ian and Billy still sounding Awesome !!! Ian's voice hasn't lost anything and the tone on Billy's Guitar is freaking awesome!!! One of my all time fav songs !!!!
I didn't expect to ever see this! I thought this band was no longer active, but not only they're active, they're also killing it live! Unexpected surprises are the best surprises.
they played at this crappy little festival near me last year. but they were pro's and played like it was a full stadium show. then afterwards they drove to casino in our city about 45 minutes away and played a few songs with the house band. unexpected as you said
My son and I saw the boys, last year. SLC Utah. Absolutely crushed the "Complex" When you're a 60 year old father, and your 18 year old son is involved and interested in your music, you're ok
Holy Shit man! I'm 53 now and this keeps getting better. Love these guys. Thanks.for many decades of awesome music! Peace and love! Happy Birthday Howie!!
No shit bro. I'm 53 also. Saw The Cult open for Metallica in 1989 at Red Rocks. I wasn't much into them until I saw them that night. Astburys voice is killer, hell I just stumbled across this, the man still has it.

Recently saw them live and it was money. What these boys have seen and been through yet survived it all. Just 90 minutes of straight up rock, no pauses, no political chatter. They just rocked and did not miss a note. Go see them while they still play like it's prime time.
He was drum tech for Charlie Bennante of Anthrax before all of that, while brother Mike Tempesta was Scott Ian's guitar tech at the same time. He went on to Powerman 5000 with Rob Zombie's little bro, Spider (Mike Cummings). Nepotism overload, but you gotta do what you gotta do to get a gig.
Met Ian a few years ago. Thought it would be a ten second “Hi, nice to meet you,” but a few hours later we were still chatting. Gem of a guy. Thoughtful, interested, humble. I first heard Electric on a merchant marine ship off the coast of S. America. Changed my musical life.
The Cult always put the sound of the song ahead of a stage show. It's super evident in this live performance. Nothing flashy going on: just 4 guys jamming out on a song, crisp, polished, note perfect.
The drumfill at 3:35 is my favourite ever fill. It's so simple but fits the song perfectly, no need for 32nd note triplet paradiddles or anything, just something really basic that you can hear anywhere and know where its from🤘🤘👏👏
The Cult has a special place on the soundtrack of my life. One of very few bands from that era that can play live and it sounds like it was mixed in a fucking studio. Respect!
Absolutely love this band Ian and Billy to me are two of the most underrated musicians ever and I think they just rock I've seen the cult so many times and every time I saw them the people were just rocking

So I discovered these guys by mistake at NIU by the dill pickle records store in the 80's and so glad. Seen them in Chitown several times and some of the best shows ever. Great song! All timer
The sickest 80's song ever! This song overshadowed a lot of 80's bands.
His voice is heavenly
Hell yeah
Always a kick arse song timeless.
Ian Astbury is awesome,a very special voice !!
Geez Ian!! Those pipes are still solid gold baby!!
🖤
Aren’t they!!!!

@@kevinsnyder9047 he isn't a native American? I agree that they can sing. Ian is not even from the U. S. A?
Amazingly well preserved voice. Just perfect.
His voice hasn't changed for a second, takes me back to 1989.I'm so glad they're back.
More like 1985. It was everywhere that year.
Really😬
The Cult opened in Frankfurt Germany for Aerosmith in 1989,I know this because I was there. The song came out in 1985.
So much deeper than it was in the 80s.
This is one song that needs to be played as loud as possible.
You got that right 😉 Takes me back to my youth!
🎉 extra loud
Rain, Fire Woman, even louder 💪
And I shall do so coming home at 1030pm!

I still blast this song in my car and totally rock out!! I'm 56 and this takes me back like yesterday.🔥🔥🔥❤️
I'm 66 and blasting it in my ear buds
I’m 51 and remember blasting this in the 80s in my friends Fox body 5.0 mustang!! Yea..yea..yeahaaaahhhhaa ❤
I’m 57 and blasting it
Saw them in Christchurch NZ last night and they’re as good as ever. Epic guitar from Billy Duffy 🎸
The best of the best
Holy shit. Love ur voice bro!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hands down one of the greatest songs ever. The tone of that guitar is perfection.
Duffy Tone..love it!
One of favorite guitars strummers and it's a fucking short list
I was thinking that and the bass tone too

That beautiful Gresh White Falcon sounding guitar.

Just four guys with their instruments and natural voice rocking out.
So much respect that they are still killing it.

One of the most underrated bands of the '80's
Agree.but the best to me.❤
Better than U2 but didn´t have the big maschine behind.
Not underrated. Maybe underappreciated.
Never ever underrated. The Cult always had a high stand in the business. Great band indeed.
