- Linda Zhu shows us perfectly how creative you can be with the FR - SPIN by FR Skates
The new version features a Slider for side protection, an improved tongue for more comfort and support, and with the new SPIN logo on the toe strap for more style.
The FR SPIN is slightly lower than other FReestyle skates, providing more freedom on the ankle area, thanks to a lower cuff position.
This model is an affordable Carbon & Fiberglass skate, in line with the FR quality standards.
And with the new R2 Frames, you have the possibility to swap between a Rockered or a Flat set-up by rotating the axles to move the first and second wheel up or down.
They are light, reactive, and ideal for those who want to compete, or simply perform their tricks with ease and more control than plastic inline skates.

Got these this weekend after saving up for a good pair of new skates for months. Bombing down the road like crazy, super happy. Can't wait for the rain to stop now to go again (don't want to test the weather resistance of these fresh bearings yet hehe).
Awesome!❤
I wish I could skate like that🥺
I just ordered these, now the impatient 3-5 workday waiting period has begun ^o^ Btw. I thought it was the front and rear wheel you were supposed to raise? Doesn't make sense to raise first and second??
QUESstion! what did you do to the first wheel!?
The frame Is rockering
The hole is offset from center. You rotate it to raise and lower the axle of the wheel.
Can you change out the wheels?
When are these going to be available in the UK?
Also, couldn't find this anywhere: do these come with the 7-hole mount usually found on FR skates? I want these for a wizard setup on Endless 100 :)
I found on them on the French site Makio rollershop
@@ooliya thanks, but that's France, not UK :) Can't exactly go and try them on/check the mounting holes if it's in France.
these are 5 hole mount, but technically could work on Endless 100, but it will be either inside or outside biased
@@tianhenry9109 cheers mate, that helps!
Is the fr 1 80mm good for freestyle?
it's okay to start with them. but it's harder to achieve high-level tricks on them because they have a removable liner and it's just more moving parts. you want a snug fit one-piece boot for slalom. also, slaloming is much easier on rockered frames
I just bought FR 2's and they are very responsive and rockerable. Many skates I compared are. I also wanted a good 'urban' skate for skating anywhere in the the city and durable for many years. I'm not an expert or pro but I've been skating on rollerblades since the 90s. I'm now learning slalom and how not to use brakes which is making me a much better skater. These skates look very nice but I'm gonna up my game quite a bit before getting them.
they are great, inexpensive, comfortable and responsive. Only the lower strap and the buckle are on a low level. That needs to be improved urgently.
