Maybe it could an alternative to the super form maybe a more powerful variant but it could work like a glass cannon (also how do you find that entity i still havent played the mod yet)
@@agustinescalante6932maybe it can work similar to how Sora’s drive forms work in Kingdom Hearts. If you rely on them too much, you risk the chance of turning into Dark Sora, so maybe it might work like that. I dunno, I’m just intrigued.

I'm like an old man, I'm slowly getting to my chair hours after release going "oooohhh there it is..." with so little energy after work.
I remember years ago when you first showed off your sprites without a team to back you up, taking even minor critiques to heart. Glad to see that flourish into a completed mod with a massive team behind it all this time later. I've very much grown out of SRB2, but I think I'm going back into it for this alone. Congrats on release!

I take back everything I've said about not needing another Sonic in SRB2, this is one of the most creative looking movesets I've seen for a Sonic and his sprites turned out really well! I'm really glad to see this project finally come to fruition!
I REMEMBER FIRST HEARING ABOUT THIS AT AGE 15! I even had a "yeah, I'm gonna become a programmer, I'll help you out" phase where my delusional self actually thought I'd be able to work on this mod with zero experience. The amount of effort here is STUNNING now that I'm old enough to appreciate how and why this took so long. Thanks for fulfilling a dream in the back of my mind, Blue!

This is super super cool! Mastering Sonic’s speed and movement has never been more satisfying, then with this mod, and the animations and voice clips just exude Sonic’s confidence. This is a super awesome mod, thanks you for making it!

This is legit just a love letter to Sonic X and the Sonic franchise as a whole and just goes to show how much effort people are willing to put into stuff like this. Congratulations on the release, and great job!
Truly We peaked in a simple, yet fun mod. It speaks volumes when you had to BE THERE to watch the message board crash. Honestly no joke i said a year ago that when this mod came out we had to play the game again and yeah, it's great.

The day this mod released felt like a holiday. Like a big celebration. The mods perfect it really expresses who sonic the hedgehog is. And I really hope sega or sonic team finds out about this because they would be proud of what their fans can do

So I actually just tried the mod earlier today, and it's like, INSANELY good. Nice work with this one, man!
He seems to be designed solely for speedrunning memorized routes and that's about it. He's Super Mystic Sonic but with somehow less movement control. Unless you're cracked on addy you're just gonna fly into walls and off the map. Also you pretty much have to change characters if it's a water level and you're not just skipping all the water parts. He's annoyingly useless in any amount of water which is unfortunate, though a funny nod to Sonic X.
I'd hoped he'd be more flexible so that normal players could enjoy him too. I love the design and his easter eggs and even the bloodlust mechanic but overall he's just a less intuitive SMS and is meant to skip 90% of the level. If you actually want to play the game and go through the levels he's just not granular enough in his movement. You're either going incredibly slow or incredibly fast. At least SMS had ways to stop movement like the ground slam.
I still think X Sonic is really cool and artistically awesome. If they either add a more granular mode to him where he has more control or expand on his movement abilities to allow actual methodical gameplay instead of just memorizing and practicing jumps and angles like it's CS, he'd be excellent. I can appreciate and understand skillful usage of movement to beat the level quickly, and expect a lot of "git gud lol," but that is such a specific playstyle catered to only veterans who wanna beat the levels in as short a time as possible. I was just never an SMS "beat each level in under 20 seconds" kinda player, so it sucks that that gives me a lot less to look forward to as a result. Let me know if I'm missing anything, cheers!

At first I thought "dude you're just not made for sonic games", then I tried the mod and I can't agree more with you. This character would be MUCH more enjoyable if everything was just a tad slower.
fun fact actually, X super sonic gives other sonic's specific shields for a act your in, its best to help out with other X sonics so that way you both can get through it quickly

Props to you, this is a really polished mod but I feel like most of the levels in SRB2 and its mods don't suit X Sonic (or other way around, idk my English's bad) nicely. His normal walking speed is slower than it should be and most of the time when you use Zip Dash, you just fly off stage. Must be in an indoor level to enjoy the mod. Also, being in water SUCKS. He is slowed down to a turtle and can't use Zip Dash, leaving you with Ring Burst which you may not be able to use.
At the end of the day, just take it as criticism. Hard work has been put into this and it shows, in fact it was too hard it broke the whole message board.
in the actual series if sonic goes in water he cant run and just dies unless someone saves him

I can’t wait to play this later, and I can’t wait to compare it to SMS since he was supposed to be based on Sonic X. X Sonic looks like a lot of fun, I hope this also means we can start seeing some more Sonic X related stages from other contributors in the future, the art style is very distinct so it lends itself well to different environments.

Holy crap I love this mod its my new favorite!!!! Adventure sonic just got pushed down to second favorite srb2 mod. And I love the sound effect for when you collect a fake chaos emerald it feels so myserious.

I was so pissed as a kid, watching the Sonic X anime in Jetix and there wasn't a single Sonic X game where you could move or do the things he does in the anime. Closes thing we got later was unleashed but never something like this.
This feels like a fever dream. It's like I'm still 6 years old and went to sleep thinking and hoping for a Sonic X game like this.

The trailer is really good, the fact that he added sound effects it's crazy, the references to the Gotta go Fast intro, like Sonic doing "🤷", and there's no need to talk about how frenetic the trailer is, this mod is perfect.

It would be cool seeing X Shadow from Sonic X added as playable with his super form and unrestrained super form (super form without the inhibitor rings) or Chaos Shadow (yeah i know there aren't any Chaos Shadow in Sonic X only his super form without the inhibitor rings but thought its a good alternate to Dark Sonic)
