One would think that. But no, the Earthbound Immortal Cusillu and all of its kind in the series would still be there. All eight Earthbound Immortals possesses an ability that prevents them from being destroyed by battle, or by a card effect. These enemies are most impenetrable to card effects, such as a Spell or Trap that attempts to get rid of it, but doesn't. The only cards that CAN put a stop to them is that if you had some sort of a Spell Card that lets you somehow "persuade" it into letting it work for you. Even though these fiends has an ability that prevents it from being destroyed by battle, but nothing in the rule book says it can let you take control of a monster on your opponent's side of the field.

I think what’s fascinating about the Signer Dragons is how reflective and fitting to their respective characters and Luna is the youngest of the signers hence why Ancient Fairy Dragon has only 2100 attack pts. but its doesn’t discredit her from being powerful. Yes, Leo would of been more beneficial as a Signer instead of being a useless comedic relief which I can understand why people would dislike him and Luna respectively because while I wholeheartedly agree they can be annoying, one of my personal favorites aspects about them is how protective and supportive they are of each other. Yes, they are overshadowed by the more popular duelists such as Yusei, Crow and Jack but I do enjoy their dynamic between them despite not being the best duelists in the shows and its such an shame that Luna doesn’t duel often but even if Leo deserved the win, I would argue that Luna still did a fantastic performance despite having minimal time on the dueling field. 😊
In all honesty, leo should have won this for himself. His deck is one of my favorites in all of the anime and it would have been such great character development for him, instead of him being relegated to the role of "annoying comic relief."

19:43 *those are the same sound effects of when a a rank up occurs in zexal and a number is summoned*
Would've love it if life stream dragon was released from power tool dragon at the same time ancient fairy dragon was, maybe that was the original plan
Something around there, then Crow beng changed from villain to hero messed with a lot of the script that I'm not completely sure how it would've gone (as in a dual fight against the Monkeys with Luna or gets Life Stream in an independent duel), but just the sheer way Power Tool Dragon emotes in this duel just screams there was a lot more to the creature.
Yeah if they had stuck to the original planned plot script it would have not only made more sense but it probably would have been a better story plot and Leo would have started out as a much better character. Just saying.
Life stream dragon is power tool dragon's original form
5:04 yeah this is something I think the dub did better with Torunka trying to cover his tracks about the staff.
In the Japanese version the when the staff changed sideways it affected him and got him to say the opposite of what he meant at the moment. Basically he began insulting Zeman and said they were tricking him. Yeah seriously
Earthbound Immortals are truly strong in the Duel Runner matches because of the Field Spell "Speed World" active by default. Imagine them with Seal of Orichalchos...
With or without immortals dartz would of defeated the signers
I wish the rest of these videos were watchable in the US.
You gotta give Leo some credit for being able to survive a Dark Signer for as long as he did until Luna arrived
Leo is a Luna's and everyone's hero :)
I love it
When i first watched the mark of the monkey episodes and when Luna met Torunka he said he was an old man. That purple hat and that scepter he was carrying around i thought to myself there's only one monster he can be. Then in this episode i said to myself i knew it. I knew he was the dark sage.
DARK SAGE???????? SHIT MAN but.........I thought the dark sage was mahad?
Liam Mulhern mahal was dark magician
@Sonicgirl the hedgehog you definitely don't play you go oh
@@goshenite1949 come on let's cut sonicgirl the hedgehog some slack okay. She at least likes the series.and is a fan. That should at least be enough.
@@ronalddragonofamerica I guess. IDK just the amount of just complete strange random shit she posts just got on my nerves I guess
@@goshenite1949 Somewhat understand but she is entitled to an opinion even if some or most of us don't really like it or are annoyed by it. Let's just be cool and enjoyed the series like real Yu-Gi-Oh fans alright bro.😎😎😎😎
Funny after Luna did all that to get Ancient Fairy Dragon released, now its currently banned.
Banned?! It must be overpowered...boo!! 😝😝👎👎
Bravebird9 not in the Speed Duel format.
Not anymore. It's semi-limited now.
Official Yu-Gi-Oh, I’m glad I got to watch this episode today, but the next one after this and the rest of this, a message pops up and says the video is not available in my country (USA), and I went to the Yugioh website today, and those episodes would let me watch them. Can you put all your videos public in America so everyone can watch them again?
How ironic. I never thought those kids leo and luna would ever be first to beat an earthbound immortal. I thought yusei would be first.
Crazy.
Luna needs a Ancient Fairy Dragon, badly...
Ocg/tcg needs a Double Riple (Ancient Fairy + Power Tool) deck!
18:10 limiter removal but it needs synchro version of power bond and battle fusion
AFD had the drip going with that equip spell card
That dark signer will be no match against my cyber dragons
Devack: I summon the most strongest monster
Luna : I summon ancient fairy dragon
Devack: but she's in my grave
Me:
Hello monster reborn DEVACK
Same VA for both Leo and Luna. So Luna been talking to herself all this time ;)
It would be interesting if Luna has lines with the morphtronic cards in duel links.
That's the ace card for a new character in duel links.
Which card/character?
I hope Luna and ancient fairy dragon can get back in time to save Leo and face the dark Singer
Luna did a great job in her first duel.
I knew she would :)
Luna sounds like yubel without the secondary voice
Or the sassy cat of the Phantom Thieves, Morgana.
I love how two kids manage to defeat an adult.
Leo & Luna ROFL LEGENDARY SAVAGENESS
this theme song from the yugioh Trilogy is one of the best next to yugioh GX
11:54 thanks for explaining that I am to blind to see this 😂
20:00 and here we go again
22:48
That giant monkey looks like he's regretting his life choices.
"When I have the Trap Card, Power Converter...!" When it's clearly a spell card in context of the edit... Thanks again old 4Kids Dubs...
"I can summon the most powerful monster ever"
The monster: only has 2800 attack points
9:11 dark magician´s final form
Well that's Dark Sage so...
12:44 Obviously and definitely a trap card.
Tristan Season 1: Comic relief and litteral monkey
Tristan season 3: Fucking main character
Tristan in Arc V: Shinji?
What would've happened if Luna didn't go to the Spirit World to save Ancient Fairy Dragon? Would Ancient Fairy Dragon still be saved?
"I'm a clumsy old man" LMAO that sounds just like an abridged line
19:03 In that part Luna Makes me remember when Atem Tricks Nezbit in yugioh Noah Saga
Ah yes, "I activate my trap card" then proceeds to play a spell card
Dubbing mistake number 506
It took me so long to realize that the spellcaster helping Luna was Dark Sage o.O
Boi
@@titanslayer3567 Like it was last used in the original series in the first season no less x3
Are you serious bruh!!!
10:07 -- Earthbound Immortal Cusillu, come on down!! (Summoning complete @ 11:37.)
He totally got his butt kicked by a kid 😂
TH3 BLACKGHOST 21 D-bag not devack
@@dracojensei1141 what?
In all honesty, leo should have won this for himself. His deck is one of my favorites in all of the anime and it would have been such great character development for him, instead of him being relegated to the role of "annoying comic relief."
Luna is back in the game.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON TO GET UNBLOCKED!!!
I am still fond of Cusillua despite it having an effect that is rarely usable.
Oops it seems they forgot limiter removal makes her take damage equal to the attack points it gains
that's power bond.
Renamon Huepow sorry then it destroys the monsters
Leo was Supposed to be a Sighner but was replaced with Crow.
He was Supposed to wield Livestream Dragon wich can only be summoned with Powertool Dragon and would habe the Mark of the Dragons Heart
Leo does become a signer
He eventually becomes one, but near the very end of 5Ds
We need a lot more episodes I need to watch all of it
That little dude was the freakin dark magician
6:38 "its time I take The leash of my Dragon, D-Bag"
3:32 Donkey Kong Villain OC.
I picture the Monkey Soildiers to be voiced by, Frank Welker, Tom Kenny, Dee Bradly Baker, and Grey Delisle.
dvak summoned aciant fairy dragon in deffence but it aint bluee
I guess AFD is actually in attack mode...
Giving 5days is my favorite show cause it show me that someone on the street can become something
Am i the only one who sees a resemblence with the old man and dark magician
well concerning he is the dark sage...
This duel was some serious Monkey🐒 Business
Certainly 😂
Leo spinning his arm 7:07
Luna consumes too much weed, come on, spirit duels, etc.
Something that always bugged me was how Luna’s duels were always eclipsed by this dang Fairy Dragon Story, but in reality we rarely ever get to see her employ any actual strategy with it
It'll always be funny how Ancient Fairy Dragon was "terrible" until she wasn't 😅
