I like how even when possessed by evil, Greiger is still respectable and willing to crack a not evil smile
Well his revenge is justified as he seeks justice for his village and the people he lost, including his family. He's similar to Carly: never desiring revenge, just doing what they think is right.
Don't worry he smiles evil on the Part 3 episode when he gets fully possessed by the evil Shadow army.

@@RandoGrunt actually, that begs the question. If Leo did become a signer, then how would Yusei get the mark of the dragon head? If Leo became the 6th signer, then who would inherit the tail since I'm sure a signer can't hold two. If he became one of the 5 signers, then there would be no context as to why Yusei would get the mark of the head and Leo gets the tail. Quite the predicament really.
@@cameraman7016 in the fifth season on yugioh 5ds Leo did become a signer but his sign was the crimson dragon heart. It happened right after the heart piecing machine pierced his heart and then the dragon heart sign appeared and brought leo back to life.
I love how Yusei is meant to be doing his own duel and yet he manages to go see Luna/Leo's duel as well as go interrupt Crow vs Grieger. Kalin must be sitting like >:(

I love how different Synchro summoning is. When you think about it, It looks like a transmutation. Since you need a tuner monster it's like they literally warp your body into the monster rather than fuse or sacrifice
Anybody notice how Grieger's red mark is the same as Yusei's yellow mark but with an extra line on top

I just realized the Servant and loyal friend to the Fairy Dragon is a Lion and Luna is a Dragon singer with a twin brother named Leo. I never realized that when I first saw this.
Crow was supposed to be a dark signer and after his episode since everyone loved him so much they decided to do this instead. They did a magnificent job with the new direction they took.

If I remember right, the dark signers are undead; meaning when they were human, they literally died, were given their dark signs, and ‘resurrected.’ That’s why they ‘turn to dust/ash/etc’ upon defeat.
I think Kalin starved, Carly fell, Roman was the ‘prime’ dark signer of this current gen, Greiger was hung, Goodwin willingly lost so he could turn, I think Misty tried to end her own life, and I don’t ‘think’ we ever find out about Devack….

-Kallen starved to death in the Facilities (half-Shown, half-Implied)
-Carly fell from a high spot thanks to Sayer (Happened on-screen)
-Roman was Ground Zero of the initial Ener-D Reactor Explosion (More or less On-Screen)
-Greiger was Hung (This very episode)
-Goodwin willingly lost to his brother (Duel not shown, but the before and after were.)
-Misty drove off a cliff in sorrow of her lost brother (Shown on screen)
-Devack's story was never shown; if Real-Life events at the time didn't happen, perhaps Devack's character would have been fleshed out in the later story, and maybe had more relevance. But from an Animation book released after the fact we have a story. Devack was chosen by a Demon Cult that worshiped the Dark Signers to bear a Dark Sign, and was sacrificed to bear a Dark Sign, which was Cusillu.

It was reported in a jump Festa magazine a while back that devack was originally suppose to be part of a cult that worshipped the earthbound immortals and he was their "chosen" one to be sacrificed and turned into a dark signer.

they need some more support because greiger is the one dark signer i really liked for his virtues, and the reactor cards are quite interesting. if their effects werent once per turn, it could be quite a deck.
