I have a French cousin whose in a Korean Christian cult and it’s crazy stuff.
She’s hasn’t seen her young daughter in like a year since she’s been sent off to be a missionary in different countries. My aunt (her mother ) had basically had to raise the kid herself

"A tip is just to ignore them." Me when I'm trying to do weekly shopping and people are trying to solicit various religious things like crosses or cookies with scriptures. They're pretty chill though. If you say "no", they leave you alone. So it's not that relentless thing you've had to deal with. 💀

The guy following you and not reacting to your scream is so scary I’m so sorry that happened. A lot of these tactics are a lot like scammers or intense sales tactics (making eye contact as approval to be spoken to.)
I just came across your videos the other day and have been really interested in what you share! It’s very cool to learn about all of a culture and not just the nice side or perfect parts of the culture. I still think Korea is beautiful, but I’m just aware that it has its own issues, just like everywhere in the world does. Thanks for making these!

They once came to my campus in South Africa (University of KwaZulu Natal), they took me to their place and baptized me. I didn't feel okay after that and was crept out. So I told my mom about what happened and she flipped out and told me to never go back there again, when they came to fetch me she screamed and told them to buzz off and never come back, they never came back

It's already easy for me cause I have a fear of religious people (possibly due to excessive God mentioning to the point I want to crush their "poor" ego so that I can feel satisfied) and I hated them so much in my life.
God had mentioned being religious doesn't mean anything can help you, let imperfection fall instead of unrealistic expectations. My God is the Universe, not the church itself
They can approach me all they want, but at least I have the balls to kick them until unconscious instead of "eating the sweet". I prefer drinking bitter and eating sour, you shouldn't guard yourself down if you can't secure your life tightly until the last minute. I can't lose my precious protection if I don't value it so much by now.
I lock my room just to make sure nobody invades my privacy without permission, but my privacy always gets trampled on. So, I became overly strict about personal boundaries and I went violent mode with whoever is daring to do it.
My love for security, honesty, and solitude is extremely high and I will risk myself to get that before those cult people try to catch it
I want to them see struggle if they do approach me, it'd be funnier and more entertaining to mess around with their emotional states ☺️ if their main weakness is religion, I expose them to violence and gore immediately which they call "sin" to them (I love horror, don't judge me)

Wow iam really get into in your video 😅 even though I've not live in Korea but kinda same incident happens with me in India at rushy place in a metro that is switching point of metro lines a man approched & asked me for how he can reached to that particular station so I just help him by saying normally that by the same metro for which iam waiting too he can reached there so he get into the metro and again approched me to sit next to him there was so small space so I politely said no thanks but after a while he tries to make eye contact with me and smile at me and I was the biggest stupid that moment that i smiled in return 🤦when my station arrived he also went out along with me and keeps try to talk to me then that moment I realised that boss something is not ok with him he is just wanna know where iam going or where is my home and stuff, I got so scared and just ran fast to reach my home asap he literally follows me half of my way. That moment was so scary my hands are shaking up while writing about that incident, after the day traveling from same station got scary for somedays I literally rolled up my eyes everywhere that might be he followed me again or he seeing me from somewhere corner from platform. But all of the above by the time passes I got my self confidence back through some of friends and family support 💫✌️

I hope you don't mind me correcting your English (your English is all in all very good!), but the word 'ignorance' means knot knowing something, as in being ignorant of a fact, etc. The correct word would be 'ignore', which is what you mean to say, as in 'just ignore' the person bothering you. I love that you saying the true. 100% They asking a lot people from poor countries because they think it is easier. I was invited from a girl for this SJC to watch the bible class. I know a lot about Jesus and like that. This girl was first really kind and helpful when we was talk she wants me to live in Korea. She was even flirting that is all an part of marketing all young guys and girls doing for this church. Time to time i was in the center building but when i was to go to main she was creepy and like she doesn't want to go there. She was hanging out really often with me, writing with me asking a lot personal things(i didn't answer always), she was helping me a lot, Traveling with me, even she was going to my apartment with me, teaching me Korean, she was really kind but from time to time she changed because she was thinking she get me as member but actually i started to understand that all is a lie. Even about her was a lot wrong, she was saying to me you can meet my family but we never met because their parents was not a part of it. She was making afraid that her parents asking for help or like that. Or she doesn't want to deep in the friendship. Yes they read from the bible but they changed some parts. Like they saying only we believe in god and came to heaven (144000 people only) if you hear that flew because that make even no sense that from 4 billions (on earth/muslim, christan, Jewish) prayer only about 144000 came to heaven. For them Muslim and Jewish they are not prayers. All other churches made by Devil. If you think that make no sense. Their are more things not standing in the true bible. So if someone from churches talk to you in Korea don't talk to them.

I heard the webtoon one! haha. I was disappointed when I found out they weren't doing it lol. Another thing to watch out for are fake language exchanges. Shincheonji had a language exchange near a college (trying specifically to get foreigners) and then at the end match you with a "language exchange partner" For me as a man they matched me up with a woman. Suddenly without prompting she mentioned bible classes etc. lol The weird part about this language exchange was that it was like at 10 AM on a Saturday which is a really weird time for that. (usually they're around 7 PM). Also if you do go to these bible studies the teacher never mentioned her name. Or the Korean people there may only use their English name, but not tell you their Korean name.

I think something like this might’ve happened to me even though I’ve never lived or been to Korea. I was sitting down reading a book and this Korean old lady approached me and asked about the earrings I was wearing (they had crosses on them) and asked if I was Christian (I’m not). She then tried to ask about my name (I said a fake name), where I’m from, what I’m studying, my schedule, etc. ALL WHILE I JUST MET HER.
She was so insistent on trying to get me to join her bible study thing in the spiritual centre at my uni/college (it’s a mix of both in a way), that’s why she asked what days I go to school. I said I had work despite not being employed. She also wanted my phone number and I managed to not give her mine, but when she brought her husband around I was surprised because he was hidden in the seating area. And she kept talking and talking and I just wanted to get outta there.

Shinchonji tried to get me. Actually family friends invited my family and another friend to an event for foreigners. We were picked up by a bus and taken to a Anyang or somewhere. It was an event with games. A lot of people were wearing tshirts for a "volunteer" club. The event ended with a traditional drum and dance show and an introduction to the mayor and the leader of the Shinchonji Church leader. Weird enough, but back on the bus one of our volunteers was trying to sign us up for the next event the following week. My friend and I picked up on the recruitment right away. and declined the invite. Had no idea family friends were so into it. Still friends, but a little confusing

Dang, came here on yt to search about this stuff 'cause I experienced it earlier, they introduced themselves to me that they'll present their presentation and afterwards ask me questions and thought me things, note that I already said that I wasn't very knowledgable about religion stuffs and I'm not very active since I have mixed opinions about it since I'm more leaned to the scientific side more than this whole believer/ creation things. They were so friendly, and as a person who can't say no, I just found myself joining them back to their "chrurch". Already feeling uncomfortable when I got there, I've also made it obvious that I am not sure or do not like what's happening by asking them lots of questions in which they answered and dismissed like, "hey it's okay, don't be nervous", yadda yadda. My suspicions got worse when I found out that they will baptize me, right there. I even almost cried earlier since I've told myself to just decline them and back off, but since I'm surrounded by them, so I failed to escape and their "ceremony" proceeded. My only mistake is that I've given them my information like my contact number, name, and address ( should've used my expired number ). I didn't stop asking them questions since in the middle of the whole process, I'm well aware that this is up to no good because I've seen cases like this before. So tonight, I'm thinking of sending them a message that I cannot do this things, don't know what they'll do though 😭 they seem nice and welcomed me earlier, it was not a fun experience.

Sorry to hear that, but as a wise person like me, I say "Be on your guard, do not be fooled by friendly gestures. They may look nice on the outside, but they taste muddier on the inside."
Do not let strangers into your life just because they act friendly, be aware of your surroundings and trust your thoughts and instinct, that's what I do in my situation. I only let a few in if they are trusted people by a small society or a friend from my parents, my science teacher send me back home and I was grateful she knew about my mother. That is when I realized she was my distant aunt from my parent's side
I would never forget that incident ever again, I was relieved that she knows me well enough from my family side. I went to get my phone in the discipline room which got confiscated after the Ramadan holiday and I miss my school van thanks to my classmate friend.
This is my lesson for you, don't be afraid to say no in a dangerous situation. Religious people have their weakness which is the devil himself, hence I feel uncomfortable if I sugarcoat without a reason to.
I'm just like you, I couldn't say no but I change for the better and hope to bring moral lessons and knowledge about the cruel reality
Just ask your questions, a loyal person wouldn't let go of someone who is suffering

First of all, I would say every brick and mortar religion is part of what the Bible call's "the world Empire of False Religion.". So, if you say that you are Christian, in the Bible Christian's simply walk with the true God and are not defined by any physical organization. For example; I was raised in the Jehovah's Witness organization, which is a Colt. I don't associate with them anymore, but I am still Christian because you don't have to be apart of any organization to be a Christian. However, it is very hard to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to anyone if you don't already know them. So, if I were going to take to you I would do it online or only if I already knew you personally. So, you are right about how colt's work.🤔

    • @sportandtr

Sure you don't need to be a part of organization to come to heaven you only need to read the bible, tora or kuran and follow god rules and you have the chance to come in the heaven if god wants

    • @master-gbig1140
      @master-gbig1140 11 месяцев назад

@@sportandtr You say; "come to heaven" as if you were already there. So, I know you don't know what you are talking about! You speak in a benevolent manner as if you were talking down to some human upon the earth. Salvation through Jesus Christ is not a ticket to heaven. It is to redeem what the first man Adom lost when he sened against God by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and bad. That is the definition of redemption, to reacquire what was lost. You are someone who does not read the Bible. However, you are someone who expounds on it, or you are someone who preaches "Doctrine." Doctrine is not the word of God it is the theory of imperfect man writing his own personal "wish list." Doctrine is not about "Truth or fath." It is a reckless disregard for the word of God. If you knew anything about Salvation through Jesus Christ then you would know that you don't need the "ransom sacrifice" of Jesus Christ to enter into heaven because once you die as an earthly man your sins are paid in full. If you are to inter into heaven you will be transformed into a spiritual being as you will never be human again. So, go and study your Bible and read it this time to learn the truth about heaven and Salvation through Jesus Christ.

Don't skip a beat, just laugh and say, "Yeah, I usually keep it hidden."
    He nods, quite serious.

"A little knowledge makes men atheists; but a more thorough acquaintance with the sciences brings them back again to religion." (Francois Bacon; father of empiricism and a staunch christian, developed scientific method)
Albert Einstein said, "In view of such harmony in the cosmos which I, with my limited human mind, am able to recognize, there are yet people who say there is no God. But what really makes me angry is that they quote me for the support of such views."
In an estimate by Baruch Shalev, between 1901 and 2000, about 65.3% of Physics Nobel prize winners were either Christians or had a Christian background. (4.7% for atheist, agnostics, and freethinkers)
In an estimate by Baruch Shalev, between 1901 and 2000, about 72.5% of Chemistry Nobel prize winners were either Christians or had a Christian background. (7.1% for atheist, agnostics, and freethinkers)
In an estimate by Baruch Shalev, between 1901 and 2000, about 62% of Medicine Nobel prize winners were either Christians or had a Christian background. (8.9% for atheist, agnostics, and freethinkers)
      Ernest Walton 1903 - 1995.
A devout Methodist, who said science was a way of knowing more about God. Winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics after he artificially split the atom and proved that E = mc2.
      J. J. Thomson 1856 - 1940.
      A practicing Anglican who prayed and read the Bible daily. Discovered the electron; invented one of the most powerful tools in analytical chemistry - the mass spectrometer;
      Charles Babbage 1791 - 1871.
A Protestant devotee who devoted a chapter of his autobiography to a discussion of his faith. The father of the computer, invented the Analytical Engine, a Turing Complete computer in 1837 - the first general purpose computer.
      Werner Heisenberg 1901 - 1976.
A Lutheran with deep Christian convictions. One of the primary creators of quantum mechanics. Formulated the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle.
      Humphry Davy 1778 - 1829.
Said that God’s design was revealed by chemical investigations. Discovered the electrical nature of chemical bonding. Used electricity to split several substances into their basic building blocks for the first time, discovering chlorine and iodine; produced the first ever samples of the elements barium, boron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, and strontium.
Other earlier scientists before 1900 who consider themselves committed Christians include:
Leonhard Euler (1707 - 1783) Published more mathematics than any other single mathematician in history, much of it brilliant and groundbreaking.
Michael Faraday (1791 - 1867) Discovered electromagnetic induction; discovered the first experimental link between light and magnetism
James Clerk Maxwell (1831 - 1879) Transformed our understanding of nature: his famous equations unified the forces of electricity and magnetism, indicating that light is an electromagnetic wave.
Gregor Mendel (1822 - 1884) Founded the science of genetics; identified many of the mathematical rules of heredity; identified recessive and dominant traits.
Bernhard Riemann (1826 - 1866) Transformed geometry providing the foundation of Einstein’s theory of general relativity; the Riemann hypothesis has become the most famous unresolved problem in mathematics.
      Isaac Newton (1643 to 1727) spent more time on Bible study than math and physics. Profoundly changed our understanding of nature with his law of universal gravitation and his laws of motion; invented calculus;
Willard Gibbs (1839 - 1903) Invented vector analysis and founded the sciences of modern statistical mechanics and chemical thermodynamics.
John Dalton (1766 - 1844) Dalton’s Atomic Theory is the basis of chemistry; discovered Gay-Lussac’s Law relating temperature, volume, and pressure of gases; discovered the law of partial gas pressures.
Carl Friedrich Gauss (1777 - 1855) believed science revealed the immortal human soul and that there is complete unity between science and God. His profound contributions to the physical sciences include Gauss’s Law & Gauss’s Law for Magnetism.
Florence Nightingale (1820 - 1910) Transformed nursing into a respected profession; used statistics to analyze wider health outcomes; advocated sanitary reforms largely credited with adding 20 years to life expectancy between 1871 and 1935.
Alessandro Volta (1745 - 1827) Invented the electric battery; wrote the first electromotive series; isolated methane for the first time.
Blaise Pascal (1623 - 1662) Pascal’s wager justifies belief in God. Devised Pascal’s triangle for the binomial coefficients and co-founded probability theory. Invented the hydraulic press and the mechanical calculator.
Samuel Morse (1791 - 1872) Took part in the invention of a single-wire telegraph and patented it. Developed the Morse code.
      and many more..
Dr Arno Penzias(Nobel Prize-winning astrophysicist): “I invite you to examine the snapshot provided by half a century’s worth of astrophysical data and see what the pieces of the universe actually look like…In order to achieve consistency with our observations we must…assume not only creation of matter and energy out of nothing, but creation of space and time as well. The best data we have are exactly what I would have predicted had I nothing to go on but the five books of Moses, the Psalms, the Bible as a whole.”
Einstein said in correspondence, "the fanatical atheists...are like slaves who are still feeling the weight of their chains which they have thrown off after hard struggle. They are creatures who-in their grudge against the traditional 'opium of the people'-cannot hear the music of the spheres."
The universe had a "beginning, a starting point in the finite past. Even Einstein recognized this implication and dared to say that it affirms the necessity of 'a superior reasoning power'"
To seek God with all our heart is fundamental to God’s revealing himself to us (Jer. 29:13).
As the philosopher & famous pascal Blaise Pascal put it:
Willing to appear openly to those who seek Him with all their heart, and to be hidden from those who flee from Him with all their heart, He so regulates the knowledge of Himself that He has given signs of Himself, visible to those who seek Him, and not to those who seek Him not. There is enough light for those who only desire to see, and enough obscurity for those who have a contrary disposition.

I always say ”are you ugly because you are a Jehovahs Witness or are you a Jehovahs Witness because you are ugly?” Works every time. To be serious, there is a connection being poor and being religious so when a country get very rich it tends to be secular. But on the other hand, if you replace it with wokism that might be like a new cult.
