    @TheI70racenut I don't think the track will ever reopen. It will take a lot more then cleanup, its in really sad shape.

    To clear everything up. I've been racing there for 6 years now, its 30 degrees of banking.

    I70 has 28 degree banking.
    The wreck at 2:47 was Steve Barber and he was fine. The rear bumber on the other truck broke the halo bar and bent the a pillar, but didn't go far enough to hurt the driver.

    anyone remember John Oneal going head on in turn 1 and getting a helicopter ride out of there? 1995 I think.

    Spin @ 019 is Bobby oderkirk getting slammed into by Damon Clevenger in the super trucks needless to say one truck totaled the other one needed a front stub afterwards

    bubba35741 the last crash was Tony Sawyer's crash back in i think 03 or 04 maybe early than that and his helmet got melted to his face becase it was a nylon hemet.

    @Delta767300er: I-70 has or had 30 degrees and the only reason i know that is because I litteraly grew up at tis track.

      I grew up at I-70 Speedway and the dirt banks were 37 degrees and the asphalt was 32. My Daddy-O ran the pits for Greg Weld for 6 years and helped Ted Hall. I lived a mile away. I never saw you there, Jimmie. Glad you love the track though. Maybe you were in the stands...

    the problum with gettin a new owner is the track has about $3mil in liens against it so anyone that goes to by it wil have to pay that PLUS what ever they buy it for plus try to rebild a track name that brad mcdonald ran to shit i live about 5 min from the track i have talked to the ppl about it

    No it is not.......it looks similar but is not........I was at the event and there is in fact vdeo of it on RUclips......
    ........search "RacinBoys I-70 Wreckfest "Decade of Carnage" and go to 11:16 and you will see it there...........
    worst crash I ever saw.

    at nz speedway when ever theres a crash evryone loves it. bt u guys are like o knw. most people go to the speedway to see crashs not to see who wins coz that get boring
