  • Back to work on project Marsha, in this episode floor pans are replaced with patch panels from Classics 2 Customs Fabrication. After we get the floors solid again they prepped for some Lizard Skin sound deadener. The fine folks at Summit Racing have been long supporters of Mopar Connection Magazine supplied us with plenty of project to cover the floors.

Very thorough job Dave. You must be very busy as this looks like you filmed it in the summer time.

Thanks Steve....nothing compared to the job you're doing on that latest Daytona. Yes that was filmed back in August. Things a very busy and i'm way behind on getting my content out.

Looks great, Dave. You mention that this product is water soluble. Do you have to apply a top coat to it?

Jerry no you don't have too once its dry its rock solid. It is top coatable if you want to paint over it. Clean up is much easier. I used to a very simialr product from the Winzer Corp. Hope all is well with you and the Rust Queen, i need to make another visit to the Ranch.

Dave, are you going to use some sort of sound deadening mat under the carpet?

Nothing anymore additional than what comes attached to the carpet. The Lizard Skins product that was applied is a sound deaner not a heat blocker. They do have a product that blocks heat.
