Curious as to why people are having Sim issues. I had 0 connectivity unless on WIFI. Wasnt sure if it was the Antenna or USB C Board. Purchased and replaced both after phone shop said that per Samsung, They had to swap both AND the motherboard and would charge $600. Replacing both part fixed my issue and thankfully no Sim card error.
I had this done at a repair shop. Although they restored the charging capability, like other people above, I lost the ability to use the SIM cards, so had to get them to put the original charging port back in, as I'd rather have connectivity than the ability to charge through the charging port. If you want people to subscribe maybe you could tell us why this may have happened, as it seems from the comments that this is quite a common occurrence?
Exactly what happened to my phone. Although, I didn't have charging issues, but connectivity issues. They advised that I need to make this replacement to regain connectivity, and now my phone keeps telling me to insert the SIM, as it doesn't recognize it. What is the solution for this? What do you mean "original charging port"? My service was done by an authorized Samsung repair shop.
If you couldnt use the SIM 1) the cable could be loose, 2) they used a cheap knock-off component (most likely issue) 3) the component was just bad or damaged during install 4) if you had the S22 Ultra use e-sim
I Have the ultra version, and having issue in cellular signal, some people advise me to replace the charging port ,do you think is it gonna work? Sorry for my bad English
@paulofilho4740 Nothing happened after replacing the antenna, I took it to a store, and he replaced a signal filter (I don'tknowwhatit is) Sorry for my bad English
Ok I got a question, I flipped upside down the ribbons when I replaced the USB board now my phone can't read the sim card at all and I can't even get into sim manager to do a e-sim does it matter that the ribbons were installed upside down ? What ever I did changing that board killed the sim port please help I don't want to have a $1000 paper weight.
@machinebuilder3535 unfortunately no I had to do a warranty exchange which is I had to swap it out with another Samsung galaxy s22 ultra. Usually I can figure out the problem but I lost that battle. ( I wish there were other phones to chose from with AT&T beside Samsung and Apple, I truly hate them both haha) good luck.
I really wosh someone would design an aftermarket usb port that included an SD card slot too. Shouldnt be that hard since theres already functionality for it. (Its a data bus)
I replaced the USB-C port, but charging still doesn't work. I hope I don't have to replace the motherboard. I would appreciate any advice.

much easier to just swipe down and hit the power button, down and power most likely will just take a screenshot.
I took my phone apart and put it back together and now the sim isn't reading. Charging still working just not sim detection
Anything fix it
