Hey it was REALLY cool to get my phone back together and realize that you skipped the earpiece speaker at 8:30 it literally just dissapears in the video... now im back at it. Barely had time to do it once with my 3 kids getting home soon, thanks for that!
Thanks for the step-by-step instructions. The screen did not come with the ear module and speaker but could be transferred from the old screen easily. Also, the 5 G antenna cables did not come with the "Original S22 Ultra" Screen package but were easily transferred to the new screen.
You forgot to tell everyone to remove an antenna, a thin rectangle that is connected with 2 screws on the left side of the battery connected to the motherboard left of the "main" gray cable. The new screen does not have screw holes to mount the antenna must use a tiny bit of glue or I used a thin paper to press the antenna to one side. And after removing the motherboard that there is another... something on the top right corner that also needs to be removed. Also your phone doesn't have ... what I think is the 5G antenna rectangular chip that goes on the right side of the motherboard.
thank you so much , i started it yestrday but i touched the battry started making smoking and some noise of fire , i remmoved at the end but was totaly damged ,i had to buy other one , i was afrid to lose all my phone but now is oky
your video is awsome!! made it easy for me so far! however i have a cord on the left side of the battery that is not in this video. Has the numbers sm-S908U MMW-V on it. Any ideas???
Did the phone lose any responsiveness after screen replacement? Verizon is going to replace both my screen and S pen for Free but I worrie that the phone won't feel or respond the same as it was new.
I strongly recommend that you do not pay attention to what Samsung says, once I submerged mine to 15 cm deep no more than 10 seconds and still water entered and ruined, it is better not to trust what companies say about their devices, I had the phone for only 4 months.
I dont see how you can remove that tightly glued backcover without breaking the glass on the backside. Here by magic you just pull it up with a suction nap but in reality is is tightlty and immovabkly shut like Majan coverstones. And the tiniest amount of force will break the very thin glass. APART FROM THAT This was an excellent help to repair the phone. Just my tip: If you order a new screen order a new backside as well. This is not expensive. And you will crack it.
Hello Zumbatan, here you can find the orignal screen. www.idoc.eu/en/samsung-galaxy-s22-ultra-screen At the moment the screen costs 252€. Best regards Marc from iDoc
You skipped at least 3 important steps! This is helpful until you actually need to replace the screen. Very disappointed that I had to search for a different video in order to complete the repair.
Pay close attention to 8:30. That is where the front speaker suddenly zaps out of existence. (Down right corner) At 9:15 it is already attached to the replacement screen. So if you follow this video you will end up not hearing people when they call you. Something you will probably not notice during testing. It's extremely sneaky!! Don't forget the front speaker (2 screws!!)
Hello, The earpiece itself does not need to be replaced. The earpiece is included with the original replacement part. Here you can find the original display. www.idoc.eu/en/samsung-galaxy-s22-ultra-screen Best regards Marc from iDoc
@@iDocEN Thanks for the answer. So curious that it disappeared! My original Samsung replacement screen came without the front speaker. I only noticed when I had several calls where I didn't hear anything. Luckily the new backside is easier to detach than the original one. So I was able to wriggle out the part from the old screen and put it in.
* Step 17 . 10:17 into the video. Motherboard cover installation. What were those 2 small lights flashing for? I'm bout to fix my own Ultra. The front glass is cracked. The funny thing is that the damage looks like a lion. And I didn't mind for a while another reason I left like this for so long. Is that I didn't know there was a tutorial for the Ultra. I've done many phone screens on the past. So I'm game. 🏌♂️🌌
Followed these instructions and successfully replaced my LCD and Back glass. Thank You! Saved $200 USD
Your DIY videos are excellent. I feel so much more confident that I can repair my own S22 Ultra if anything happens to it. Thank you!
This video was the best one to follow to replace your screen by yourself.
Thank you for this excellent video that doesn't miss steps or speed over some. This is, by far, the best I've seen.
Exactly . Some tutorials either speed up the process , or totally skip it.

Forgot to tie one screw of the motherboard, but very helpful detailed instructions. Thanks.
Absolutely brilliant nothing left out 👍
I love to hear you say the word "insert"

Does it retain IP68 rating after the screen replacement?
Hello Vishnu vinoD,
after opening there is no IP69 rating anymore.

I cracked the back glass immediately after inserting the pic! Because I started on the boron as video shows! Start on the right button corner!!

Yep!! true!! Order a new backside with your new screen as you will crack it!
use rubbing alcohol and the heat gun
I had my screen replaced. Everything works but my s pen won't register
The tool list goes by SO FAST and the text is very very very small....
Is it water resistant after the repair?
If you order a new backside as well this comes with attached gluelines. Same as old.
