BASIC Snake for self defence SUBTITLES

- When we are attacked while our hands are down it may be too slow to protect ourselves by raising an arm. The Xin Yi Liu He snake technique starts with the hands lowered and protects itself first of all with the shoulder, with a movement that we would already do naturally, quick and instinctive. Very effective in a self-defense context.

🇦🇺😎👍Love the snake , I was using it tonite while sparing
Using the shoulder for protection is used in boxing, you hide the chin and face behind, is much faster than using the hands! Nice use of the rope for precision, a ball at the end of a string is used in fencing, there is a commonality between the arts 😀 Cheers
Yes, even a typical Tang Lang Quan workout is to hit a suspended ball with the "mantis hand".
❤❤ nice
Una domanda, maestro:
Esiste uno stile completo di kung fu tradizionale del serpente (she quan)?
Grazie. Saluti dall'Uruguay.
Google translator🙏🏻🙄
Gracias 🙏🏻
Veloce,come la serpe !
I like the thin rope training idea. I do leopard fist push-ups for strength. Just in theory, I wonder if the leopard / panther fist would be safer for one's fingers than the extended fingers of the snake?
It really depends on your training and how you condition your hands. If you don't practice against a bag or something, you will just end up with broken fingers or knuckles.
@@charaznable9209 Using a leopard fist and doing push-ups is isometric training for the hands. It's great. Get a couple of foam cushions and begin with a reduced pressure push-up until your hands are strong enough to stay true during regular push-ups.
The leopard's fist (similar to a mantis fist called a "roof tile") allows you to hit a greater number of targets. While this serpent technique is used exclusively for eyes and throat points. This limitation is compensated by the advantage of being able to strike from further away than any other hand technique.
MUY BUENO EL ENTRENAMIENTO CON LA CUERDA. GRACIAS
Entrenamiento simple, pero enseña mucho.
Cool! I have not had the opportunity to use my palms for self-defense, especially in piercing blows. But I really love these exercises. There are seven of them in Dai Jia (when I was learning the names, I didn’t ask, but later I came across the name snake hand) and they are performed slowly, for the development of dantian. But now I will know their tactical application, thank you! The rope trainer is awesome!
I love the fluidity of the your movements, it truly imitates the defensive coiling and counter striking of a Snake! Moving smooth, Master Basili!
Bello. I know the you lead a martial life as casual as the sun shines, but you are one the most singular instructors in the martial arts worldwide. A joy to watch
Grazie mille Sifu.
xin yi quan?
Si Marco. Xin yi liu he quan
Real kungfu master!👍
Grazie Richard 🙏🏽
