I first saw your Bluesette vid and have enjoyed several more of your 'jazz-on-tele' vids. That's a great tone for solo instrument. I'm attempting to play music that works with the guitar alone and your playing has me looking for a good song to start work on. Thanks for posting this.
Hello Mark - Thanks for your comment on FB and also here. This was a quick recording straight into a plug-in! I wasn’t thinking much of it but it seems people do enjoy the tone. I was using the Neural DSP Morgan Amp if I remember correctly. I think most listeners are enjoying the warmth of the tone and also a touch of delay and verb. Likely could be achieved with a low wattage tube amp, mic’d. I am also playing with a Pro Plec pick and using the neck pickup rolled back. Cheers!
Awesome!!
I wonder what it would be like to be this talented?
The Blues licks really catch the air. Nice job.
🙏
Beautiful !!
Great interplay between the bassline, melody and soloing.
Yes! Tele for Jazz! Well done!

Sounds awesome Nicholas. What amp are u playing through?
Thank you, Larry. This take I was trying the Neural DSP Morgan Amp plug-in. Thanks for listening and be well.
Nice sound. What model of pickup are you using here?
Hi There. Yes, it is a pretty cool sound; a touch of break up & compression! This is the ‘51 Nocaster custom I believe, in the neck position.
@@NicholasRussell thanks
Great tone and play! Could you please tell me wich strings and mics are using?
