I understand why many people fear the idea of content creators moving to Patreon for exclusive content, but I do think most people don’t see the full picture. Most content creators, while creating content for fun, also rely on it as one of their main sources of income (if not their only one). While RUclips is an overall decent platform for monetization compared to other services such as Twitch, it still doesn’t bring in a huge amount of money. Patreon provides content creators with an additional source of income, which can help stabilize their financial situation. By offering exclusive content to their patrons, creators can generate a more consistent revenue stream, reducing their dependence on a single platform like RUclips. This financial stability allows them to allocate more time and resources to produce high-quality content for their broader audience (us). Alongside that, it also helps to contribute to the sustainability of their creative work in the long term, not only making their lives easier but keeping their genuine interest in making content. Overall, you have my support RCE and I’m interested in where this’ll take you!

will the patreon videos be eventually releasing on youtube after a long delay for those that can't really afford spending money on entertainment subscriptions or will they be permanently patreon exclusive? either way I hope it goes well for you :) Love this game btw hope you enjoy it
I love watching new people learn this game. Reminds me of the good ole days when I watched Josh from LGIO play. And got me hooked on playing it. Now I watch Bitz and ImKibitz.
I definitely understand where you're coming from with your method of producing content. I'll for sure head over to Patreon in just a hot sec. I just wanted to give you a few finger/wrist saving tips. You can press Space once to start/stop crafting at the bench. Not that you'll need to craft anymore after a bit lmao. Also, when collecting leaves, you can hold E instead of pressing it a lot to pick up all the leaves. Your fingers/wrist/keyboard will thank you! Looking forward to seeing where this series goes!
I love it when a content creator I like a lot plays games I like. I hate it when a content creator I love goes pay to view. Some of us do hustle for our money and as much as we want, can’t afford to pay a monthly subscription for every piece of entertainment there is specially if the rest of the content are series in disguise. Let them Patreons have it first, maybe choose thumbnails and titles themselves but I find it super unfair that you leave your broke fans miss content they’d love and you’re making anyways.
Everyone who has hardcore played Satisfactory: spaghetti? you've only adopted the spaghetti... *etc etc* You'll get to the point where you've done all tiers in the game and think your factory is insane and efficient, and then you will attempt to use all the uranium the map has and realize you could have finished skyrim 10 times before you finish xD I wonder if Space Engineers is on that list... I may or may not have 5600+ hours in space engineers and run a server... it would be a good laugh... errr video!.. yes... a good video. Also random tips - Tap space bar when in the manual build workbench and you can auto-craft. - Look at the belt max speed and to design your factory with efficiency based on how much ore you are mining>making into bars> making into product, not required but useful. - Good luck rebuilding your entire factory in the next one or two episodes because it's impossible to manage and you learn how to make manifolds. - You can bounce on the whales with legs....
I got into SF at update 2. Its refreshing to see someone starting out, learning everything new. After so many years starting a new map is on rails and boring by comparison. Good Job Matt. Welcome to the community. Vamonos!
Excellent to see you in Satisfactory. Love seeing people dive into it for the first time. You have a superbly laid out learning curve and progression ahead of you. Not gonna give any advice, it's one of those games where you do you is best, oh apart from enjoy meeting your first Stinger..... (2 1/2 years, 4000+hrs here)
Imagine RCE, Imkibitz, and LGIO playing Satisfactory together. All three of them have different options about factory layouts and organization (or lack of).
LGIO Is actually quite famous for his Satisfactory play though with Satisfactory fans and Coffee Stains Studio (the creators of Satisfactory). *If you weren't aware of it already*
Hey Matt! Two important tips: 1) press the "+" symbol on the crafting menu to see what you need for materials (so you don't have to remember) 2) build everything on foundations. Trust me, it'll make things easy better
Entertaining video! I love how you started to discover the game mechanics! I'm would really love to see more satisfactory on your channel, you've got so much more to discover! I really hope there won't be to much backseat gaming in the comments on this game. Keep up your great work (and your editor too)!
So instead of listening to the audience who’s got you here 11:06 let’s be real, I’m a big fan and watch every vid but be honest you’re not making more of these because it’s time consuming and/or you don’t like it… why wouldn’t you just release your ‘long series’ later on RUclips like every other creator if not just for insane greed or laziness because it takes longer than pb3 to create a video??? Super disappointing hearing your reasoning behind the most requested game getting one video on RUclips because you think it will effect your growth and profit as opposed to what your actual audience wants???
I won't put a day on this one because I have some catching up to do and finding facts I don't know is getting harder and harder everyday. Here is the most interesting fact I have found. There is a theory that the universe is possibly infinite. But after the molecules have gone through all the possible combinations, they start repeated themselves. (Like game tiles repeating after long distances) So as the molecules are repeating the combinations, there might be a chance that there is a patch in the non observable universe, which matches our patch perfectly. That means that there is a perfect copy another Earth, another sun, another of you, another of me, another of everyone you know. And since the conditions there are the exact same as ours, then they might be doing the same thing as we are doing right now. So right now there is another me somewhere out in the great beyond, typing this exact same thing. With me having no control over the other me or vice versa. So if you were to be switched with the other you, over there, at somewhere, you wouldn't even know what has changed. And also since the universe is theoretically infinite, there are infinite number of these patches, and infinite of everyone who has ever lived.
I can't wait to see what you make. Golly, you are only scratching the surface in this episode. I get the feeling it's going to look like the spaghetti monster at your base soon enough.
I personally will watch this series, Josh (let's game it out) first introduced me, the algorithm then led to Kibitz (I'm Kibitz) of which, i've watched every episode he's released. So i would be curious to find out which path you choose to take.. Atm, it seems you've chosen my path, i don't care how it looks, just get it done!
I'll watch somebody else play this game if I can't watch a whole series on it here. Severely disappointed with your choice to sell out on patreon, as I'm sure you gain a sufficient income by selling merch with almost 2 million subscribers.
Ohhhh Finally. Ive been waiting for RCE Satisfactory for many-a-days and finally!!!!! May you bless us with many strongest shapes in your long "Satisfactory" career ! (no pun intended....i think)
I absolutely love this game and I love that you finally come around to play it. I'll definitely watch the heck (because of you, algorithm 😘) out of this. I just have one tiny plea: Don't become Josh. Josh already exists and he is amazing. But you also exist and you are just as amazing.
Your favorite creator uploads a video on your favorite game: 😊 It's the first part of a series: 😁 It ends up being locked behind a paywall: 😭 Edit: I totally understand the reason behind this, and i support your choice 100%, but i'm sad because i don't have the money to spend on patreon subscriptions
Ctrl-Click works in this game to transfer items from one 'box' to another so you don't have to click/drag. Manual crafting at the bench is better when you use the space bar so you don't have to hold the mouse button down. Satisfactory got the vote cause your viewers have 1000's of hours in the game, you'll get plenty more tips while playing but I hope nobody spoils anything for you.
Satisfactory is probably the most engaging game I've seen in decades. Beware though, it is a time-vacuum. You are going to be in there for hundreds of hours - no exaggeration. You are going to love the trains, I guarantee :)
1000 hours in Satisfactory, me; if you would like a couple easy tips for early game, I've got you. Portable miners, load up whatever node with as many as will fit on the node physically. You will end up using them anyway. Creatures can be made passive or semi-passive in the options. Also, you might turn on arachnophobia mode should you have an issue with arachnids. Mid-game could see a huge concrete requirement (and plates, I think), if you are not worried about building realism. Build "sky-bridges" to connect remote sections of bases, to avoid fart towers and/or creatures and/or terrain. There is an insta-death skybox, don't go too high. Early game benefits from loads of buildings fed by storage containers on the early belts, with the PC picking up the raw materials from those loads of miners. Also, dump all the made materials into storage, to keep production running steady state. Also also, Mr Engineer man: check the recipe numbers. A very large part of gameplay in this game is the balancing of resource flow, matching production numbers to consumption numbers. Press "N" in-game for a search box that doubles as a calculator.
Shift+Click transfers a whole stack from inventory to machine or vice versa. Ctrl+Shift+Click transfers all stacks (more helpful when you unlock storage)
I knew the second I saw what game you were playing, that watching this would profoundly hurt my soul. Yet I still watched it - I am now hurt. Thanks for the video! Your belt work is like an architect.. :P
Hey RCE someone probably already told you this but, you dont actually have to hold the button when crafting just tap your space bar and it will hold it down for you, Also with mining nodes you can hold E or whatever button you make have it as and open inv while mining and it will hold the mining for you so you can AFK, And lastly for trees and grass you can just hold F you dont have to tap it hoped that helps a lil.
I'm glad the devs at coffee stain studio took my complaint seriously. The last time I played Satisfactory, it was way too dark. The world went from looking like an awesome vacation in the Bahamas to a cloudy and depressing day in the UK. It looks like they brightened things up and included a global illumination setting. How many studios would add a global illumination setting? These guys are awesome.
If there ever was a series to make exclusive to the patreon that may actually get people interested, it's this one. I've anticipated RCE playing Satisfactory for so long now, and I'm certain it will make for a fantastic viewing experience.
Nice video! One my favorite games. One nice feature I'm not sure you discovered yet. When you place a conveyer on the ground, it creates a support, and if you drag up after clicking once you can raise the support to create higher belt lines. Looking forward to seeing more!
Oh I'm so happy that this is going to be a series! I don't yet have the income to become a Patreon, but maybe in a few months I'll be able to watch the series.
I can't believe you literally started building like Josh (Let's game it out). Thought you would do it the more "civil engineered way" XD. I would love to see more of Satisfactory from you!
Hit the space bar when you’re using the craft table and you won’t have to hold down the mouse button. Double clicking will move things to/from your inventory. Control and left click will move all of one type of item. Holding down control when you are building things will snap them to the universal grid.
Just signed up as a patreon. Fully support the rationale behind multiple and more stable income streams, and this is a logical way to add more content. Truss on dude

will the patreon videos be eventually releasing on youtube after a long delay for those that can't really afford spending money on entertainment subscriptions or will they be permanently patreon exclusive? either way I hope it goes well for you :)
Love this game btw hope you enjoy it
Most likely they will never be released to youtube sadly everything one way or another becomes a subscription it is what it is
Doubt it unless there's a massive outcry for this as a youtube series.
I love watching new people learn this game. Reminds me of the good ole days when I watched Josh from LGIO play. And got me hooked on playing it. Now I watch Bitz and ImKibitz.
Hint:
You can press spacebar at the craft bench so it crafts automaticly and you don't have to hold down the mousebutton
12:42 under-appreciated joke
FINALLY A SATISFACTORY VIDEO!
This is one of the best games in my opinion, I’m ecstatic to see you playing it!
I love how in this game you kinda always realize again and again that you think to small when building stuff as you unlock the next tech ;D.
*etc etc*
You'll get to the point where you've done all tiers in the game and think your factory is insane and efficient, and then you will attempt to use all the uranium the map has and realize you could have finished skyrim 10 times before you finish xD
I wonder if Space Engineers is on that list... I may or may not have 5600+ hours in space engineers and run a server... it would be a good laugh... errr video!.. yes... a good video.
Also random tips
- Tap space bar when in the manual build workbench and you can auto-craft.
Beautiful masterpiece of a factory.
"Win win for everyone"
*Sounds of native creatures suffering in the background*
Pro tip: slide cancelling and then jumping makes moving wayyy faster in this game!
I got into SF at update 2. Its refreshing to see someone starting out, learning everything new. After so many years starting a new map is on rails and boring by comparison. Good Job Matt. Welcome to the community. Vamonos!
Damn, imagine just straight up paywalling an entire series of requested content.
Yeah that kinda sucks. Quite an architect thing to do...
The man's gotta make money to keep making videos... RUclips is ass these days and if the money stops then so do the videos.
Imagine working for free
@swegmanswag I mean a merch store, paid adverts and youtube subscribers. Hardly call that working for free.
@@Webbamaet you don't know his finances. Don't pretend to 🤷
Aliensrock is changing the way youtubers do things! Lol.
You guys should do a co-op series of something
always great to see the "we have Let's Game it out at home" play another one of the games Josh has destroyed.
Bless the engineering gods. So glad you’re playing this, been waiting a long time. Hope you enjoy as so many of us have.
Its so "satisfying" to see RCE play "Satisfactory" . Possible new series
Paid patreon only series.
Excellent to see you in Satisfactory. Love seeing people dive into it for the first time. You have a superbly laid out learning curve and progression ahead of you. Not gonna give any advice, it's one of those games where you do you is best, oh apart from enjoy meeting your first Stinger..... (2 1/2 years, 4000+hrs here)
Imagine him (perfectionist, organized...) Doing a vid with LGIO (the complete opposite). That could be fun
toilet gang
Imagine RCE, Imkibitz, and LGIO playing Satisfactory together. All three of them have different options about factory layouts and organization (or lack of).
LGIO Is actually quite famous for his Satisfactory play though with Satisfactory fans and Coffee Stains Studio (the creators of Satisfactory). *If you weren't aware of it already*
@@tekeagle2136 Pretty sure LGIO would nuke the other two's computers with his shit. The devs use LGIO's save file as a performance test lol
Yes!!! This is the collaboration we need! RCE, LGIO and Kibitz all doing a Satisfactory video would be amazing
I am STOKED you are doing satisfactory!!! Thanks Matt!
Would love if you and Let's Game It Out did something together, it would be so chaotic but so good!
A tip I just learned when at the craft table. Push spacebar when on the item you want to craft, and you DON'T need to hold the mouse button.
Matt, when manually crafting, press space once and let go.
PLEASE DO MORE!!! This is literally my favorite game of all time and I never expected one of my favorite channels to play it! MORE PLEASE!
NOW ITS 1,7K.... ITS JUST GOT 6Minutes
Hey Matt! Two important tips: 1) press the "+" symbol on the crafting menu to see what you need for materials (so you don't have to remember)
2) build everything on foundations. Trust me, it'll make things easy better
Perfect? So basically it has a lot of knobs
efficiency at its finest
It’s just efficient design
Very strong as well

Super disappointing hearing your reasoning behind the most requested game getting one video on RUclips because you think it will effect your growth and profit as opposed to what your actual audience wants???
i am officially a Graduate Engineer on patreon and RCE is my very first every patreon sign up!! super excited for the Satisfactory series!
Day 34 of asking Matt to play Mindustry.
I won't put a day on this one because I have some catching up to do and finding facts I don't know is getting harder and harder everyday.
Here is the most interesting fact I have found.
There is a theory that the universe is possibly infinite. But after the molecules have gone through all the possible combinations, they start repeated themselves.
(Like game tiles repeating after long distances)
So as the molecules are repeating the combinations, there might be a chance that there is a patch in the non observable universe, which matches our patch perfectly.
@@shoty_x1693wow, that’s crazy to think about. 😮
I can't wait to see what you make. Golly, you are only scratching the surface in this episode. I get the feeling it's going to look like the spaghetti monster at your base soon enough.
First maybe
Nice your first
good job
Managing train traffic later in the game is so fun. You'll love it.
So basically it's pay 2 win on what vid we want to watch
FINALLY, I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
Second
Ur actually 2nd lmao
As a satisfactory player myself, I find this quite organized.
I only stick with youtube
I personally will watch this series, Josh (let's game it out) first introduced me, the algorithm then led to Kibitz (I'm Kibitz) of which, i've watched every episode he's released. So i would be curious to find out which path you choose to take.. Atm, it seems you've chosen my path, i don't care how it looks, just get it done!
I'll watch somebody else play this game if I can't watch a whole series on it here. Severely disappointed with your choice to sell out on patreon, as I'm sure you gain a sufficient income by selling merch with almost 2 million subscribers.
Cool to see that RCE is playing my favorite game 😄
Ohhhh Finally. Ive been waiting for RCE Satisfactory for many-a-days and finally!!!!! May you bless us with many strongest shapes in your long "Satisfactory" career ! (no pun intended....i think)
I absolutely love this game and I love that you finally come around to play it. I'll definitely watch the heck (because of you, algorithm 😘) out of this.
I just have one tiny plea: Don't become Josh. Josh already exists and he is amazing. But you also exist and you are just as amazing.
Your favorite creator uploads a video on your favorite game: 😊
It's the first part of a series: 😁
It ends up being locked behind a paywall: 😭
Edit: I totally understand the reason behind this, and i support your choice 100%, but i'm sad because i don't have the money to spend on patreon subscriptions
I just started a new game with my sister this week 😁
Glad RCE is jumping in
1000 hours in Satisfactory, me; if you would like a couple easy tips for early game, I've got you.
Massive smile when I saw Satisfactory pop up. Thank you RCE!
Welcome to the party my man. You're going to love this game. So many great youtubers to watch.
Love it that you started Satisfactory. Wellcome to a very big Rabbithole! 😀
Literally playing Satisfactory at the same time as this video was released.
Oh I'm so happy that this is going to be a series! I don't yet have the income to become a Patreon, but maybe in a few months I'll be able to watch the series.
watching someone new to satisfactory playing is the cutest thing ever.
FINALLY!!!!! I have wondered why you haven't done this one yet. I LOVE this game!!!!
I can't believe you literally started building like Josh (Let's game it out). Thought you would do it the more "civil engineered way" XD. I would love to see more of Satisfactory from you!
"Yes I do Got resources" - Good use of the English Language.
Loving a bit of Satisfactory though. More of these please.
I can’t wait to see the conveyor belts in the strongest shape. 😊 great video. 😊
Satisfactory 1.0 released, i think its a great time for a replay :D
