I’m so pleased you finally got your diagnosis and the treatment that worked for you. I have spent many years suffering with PMDD with no diagnosis, I saw an article on it about 3 years ago and felt like I was reading about myself! I approached my GP who referred me to gynaecology and after trying various contraceptive pills to try and balance my hormones I eventually went on to GNRH agonists with add back HRT which made a huge difference. After 18 months it is no longer working for me and I’m having the laparoscopic total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo oopherectomy next week. I’m apprehensive because of the changes that may happen to my body but I know it’s for the best. Thank you for sharing your story, it has helped me to see that I am making the right choice and it will be a relief to be able to move on with my life at 45 years old

Hi, did you have your surgery? How has everything gone? How do you feel? Also are you in the uk?
This is my present situation, I’m heading towards a total hysterectomy myself as last resort, nothing has worked for me sadly x
