Got accused of being empty many times pulling that hill. Loved that truck. retired a few years ago, sold everything. done.

@ OTRbandit you should keep that camera view in your next video. You should also make a video with your camera mounted by your air horns. That would be another great view.

Great video 50 years ago we ran fancy gap on old route 100 from Mount airy all the way up to I 81 that was quite the grade pulling 46,000 up fancy 5 mile an hour in MO Detroit maximum I remember right it was two lines uphill and one lane down Yeehaw Thanks for the trip down memory lane
@@davidduggins1598 called the green weenie!!! My dad had an earthmover and the rear engine was a 671. Those were and still are bad ass engines with straight pipes and a Jake!
You gotta love a left lane truck great video. When you past the two truck going up the hill you should have let the jake grab it and spilt the gear just to piss them off 😂😂

the old road is US 52 ... 100 starts in Hillsville and intersects with I 81 in Draper Va.
