@@Tom-gb2ys get with u a 3th pokemon who will die in the first turn and use it to boost defense of gliscor with defence x, if u feel better u can use also speed x on chandelure the next turn, but it work fine also without it, so first turn defence x on gliscor and u fine everytime he will focus chandelure with solarbeam if u switch in the last phase

Thanks! by the way I tried the Ho Oh rebattle with a docile gliscor lvl 100 with 162 Hp EV 168 Def EV and 180 Speed EV And Chandelire same as yours modest nature and all correct ones I didnt even add energy ball just spammed shadowballs on suicune It still worked 😂 pretty easy and super convenient to use this team ❤

I think it's the nature and EVs. You are just a bit too physically tanky. Since you are impish follow the EV spread I gave but put 50 EVs in def and 140 in sp def. That worked for someone else with high Def. If it's too high, ho-oh acts differently. Hope that helps!

Some people are failing because Gliscor's Def is too high. Which makes Ho-Oh target differently. For Impish I would maybe change the EVs to 50 Def and 140 Sp. Def. Let me know if that works!

It seem to be rng dependent whether he spams solar beam or not. My first battle went smoothly. The second battle, he was spamming solar beam and I managed to beat him. The third battle, he was spamming solar beam non stop on chandelure. Got hit with a couple crits and died. At +3 sat/spd, a crit still does about half of chandelure's hp. At +6, a crit does about 15% of chandelure's hp. The fourth battle, he was also spamming solar beam but at least he attacked gliscor a few times.
Few things, flamethrower should be better for phase 2. Do you know what health both pokes were at before you got hit? And was it just chan hit? And what stats on chan/glis?
In phase 2 Hooh spamming me with purification and air cutter. So my pokemon always die, already make gliscor and chandelure like the text. I didnt know whats wrong with my team. I think ill try with another strat team.
I think all strats are in danger of being nerfed. I would try them now, and if the strat is nerfed, you have 2 great pokemon for Halloween and other events.

The update today should only have been to fix Android issues. No balancing changes. Other people have used it today and been successful, so I would assume it's still working. Maybe double-check the text guide and see if you are missing anything. Also, if your pokes have low stats that could be a factor, I didn't test the lower limits. If you let me know the stats I can guess.

Def on him + calm mind, but Ho-Oh spam purification, can't do nuffin
I think it's the Gliscor nature. Try it with Careful nature and 20+ in HP Def, and Sp. Def. Also swords dance might mess with the AI. I would not do that. You don't want to raise any stats in phase 2 except calm minding x3 on Chandelure. If you are just boosting stats the AI will clear it.@@mateuszkuriata3441

Its better to use flamethrower in phase 2 because if you get a special def drop with shadow ball, ho-oh's special def will raise instead

Max out Gliscors HP and Def, then give it Assault Vest to hold...
For me it worked, Not a single solarbeam.
Just dont heal Gliscor on 2nd phase.

are the rewards worth though? quills sell for 8k lure is 75 k
