- These Merrell Burnt Rock are lightweight and a good all round shoe for walking and travel. How much height do they add?
They don't look particularly thick, so watch and find out.
I feel they go well with all sorts of clothing, and I'll be wearing them a lot this coming year. Won't be hiking in them, but travel and about woods, they'll be suited for.

Hey Rob, Greg lurik is 5’9 3/4 exposed. His SECA wasn’t defective after all and it revealed his true height 🤣 I bought the same SECA he had off of Amazon and confirmed it wasn’t defective. I’m 6’1 in the morning, 6’0 1/4 at my low and 6’0 at my extreme low. Measured at my extreme low and got 6’0 bang on. Greg just needs to accept his 5’9 3/4 height at this point now. He’s a little over 5’10 in the mornings, 5’9 3/4 normal low and 5’9.5 extreme low.

Also rob, did tusaud take barefooted height to make the statue or the height with footwear the wore during the photograph session? If the 2nd case was true then a lot of actress isn't nearly as tall as listed, since they all in high heels!
I feel 1.2" is above average for men's footwear but not like thick footwear
Over 1.25 inches is more of a boost in public. I think the majority of guys shoes are 0.75-1.25
Yeah that covers a large percentage of footwear range for men.

For a boy 4’10 to 5’2 is average, and above 5’5 is definitely tall for 12. But it could be early puberty that causes that. Most boys start their growth spurt at 12.

Hi Rob is it possible for anyone to stop growing at 14 these days, My sisters oldest son is 14, and like you he said he stopped growing at 14, and grew to only 5ft 7in his very active in the gym, and does motorsports could that have stopped his growth prematurely.
Rob actually stopped growing at 14 apparently.. but it’s not uncommon to stop at an early age

If tracking growth, I'd leave 3 months between measurements because sometimes height comes in shorter spurts and you be in a non-growth phase for several months.

Rob, i took a picture with some of the hollywood actor and actress wax figure on madame tusauds, is their statue mostly accurate? Because if it is, it would help my claim even if it's larger than their actual stats, i'm 174.5 at night and i just claim 5'9, and i'm almost 2 inches shorter than leo and pitt's statue, and about 2 inches shorter than kidman's statue, and about 2-2.5 inches shorter than nicholas cage statue, and about 2-2.5 inches shorter than daniel craig's , so is their heigjt accurate?
Some actor do go along and get measurements for their figures...but you have to be aware of their pose and whether the pose suggests they are losing height.
For actors who don't want measured, Tussaud simply have to guess their height like the rest of us do!

Does the shoe size effect the height added. I got Air max 90's and in one of your videos they said they add 3.0-3.1cm and you had a shoe size 9.5.
My Air max 90's add 3.5cm and i'm a size 12.
Yes I’ve seen this before with some models, it seems around 10 to 11 range there can be a little difference.

Rob I realised that larger shoes = larger insole. I have size 13 and my younger brother with size 5 feet has much smaller insole for the same shoe. Even was the same for my mother’s shoes.

I feel people grow taller as they age but it is an inch or little more.

No, absolute latest would be early 20s. The only way you can increase height is with surgery
I don’t think it’s possible to grow after 30, it’s already pretty rare to grow in ur 20s

Mine is the opposite, i was 4’10-4’11 after i turn 13 then i hit my growth spurt i shot up and hit 5’4 at 14, then to 5’5 at 15-16 then to 5’7 at 17 and now im currently 5’8 at 17 (turning 18 in 3 months) I actually recently found out that i grew a inch a few months ago. Yeah everyone has different growth patterns some can stop growing at 13 and some can as high as 20 and mainly height is almost control by the genes.

Rob do you think i will get a bit taller after fixing my postural kyphosis and lordosis? It’s pretty bad, and a week ago i started to work my way back and be serious with my posture. Just by sleeping on my back i’ve noticed that my “out of bed” height has gone up 2 millimeters. I’m still 17 so i might not be fully done growing even though i’ve only grown 0.5 inches in a year (from 5’7.75 to 5’8.25)
Another thing is that when i measure myself flat on the ground with no curves in my spine i get 5’9.25. Could this be my actual height and it’s just disappeared from excessive sitting and bad posture over the years?
I think it sounds like there could be a little bit of hidden height. I'm trying to do a routine with Jenny next year to see if her kyphosis is permanent or whether a fraction is recoverable.

Puberty started rougly around age 13, where i had my big growth spurt to 14 (152cm-163cm)

Rob can you explain this to me and which height should i consider the proper morning height meaning that my "morning height" can vary depending on how much sleep i have had for example if i had 6-8 hours of sleep my morning height is between 182.5 to 183 and if sleep for 9-13 hours my height can shoot all the way up to 184.2 then which height do i consider my morning height :O and on top of that im going to mention that im a physical labourer and after work im usually just slightly above 5'11 so like 180.5 but my regular mid day height is around 182 if i stay at home but go out for some shopping etc.
I'd go with the height about 9 hours out of bed rather than one that's 6-7 hours.
@@RobPaul So i just measured myself 9 hours out of bed and got a result of 182.2 it is quite astonishing how physical exertion can make you shrink 3.5 cm over the course of the day rather than a regular low of i guess 2-2.5 cm below morning height, also Rob do you think my eye level is normal for my size it is about 170.4-5 at the height mentioned above i also measured the length between my eye level and the top of my head and it is almost 12 cm flat i would say slightly below it that would add up to the height measured right ?

Hair should be flattened right down for measuring.

Hair should definitely not count at all. But with your hair up it could give u a taller impression or appearance.

yes you need 3 cm shoes,,,,I am 188.7 cm barefoot tall has my lowest height and wear only 1.5 cm shoes because every time when I wear big shoes I get height paranoia it mess you up because when you wear those shoes you feel legit tall. I am 6'3 or 191m cm tall with shoes on since I wear 2.5 cm shoes which clocks me in at 191.2 cm and barefoot 188.7 cm so I get 2.5 cm boost wearing those shoes....so when I am home I only 6'2'' or 1,88m and when I am out and about I am 6'3 depending which shoes I wear I usually just claim 1,88m and not 6'3

It depends on when u hit puberty and also ur parents heights. On average boys stop growing at around 17 but some can keep growing until 20
