Birds on a lagoon beach - Moorea Island, French Polynesia

Birdlife on the beach and lagoon. Feral hybrids of Red Junglefowl (Gallus gallus) and domestic chicken (Gallus domesticus) are common along the sandy beaches of Moorea. Features of Red-Junglefowl (www.birdfinding.info/red-jung...) that can be seen in mixed degrees in this video include:
Gray (not yellow) legs. White cheek wattle in some populations.
Males: Tail is black and wedge-shaped. Two of the tail feathers are elongated and arch over the tail (0:57). Facial skin bare and bright-red with tall comb and wattles on throat and cheek (1:49). White rump (3:35).
Females: Long, wedge-shaped tail held horizontally. Orange and black streaks on head and neck; whitish streaks on breast. Facial skin mostly bare and dull pink. See 1:37 and 4:35.
