Beauty of Spring on the Potomac River: a Bend in Time

Rising spring along a wonderful, wild stretch of the Potomac River. Based on trips in April and May, 2019 to River Bend Park and trails to the north and south in Great Falls, Virginia. Birds, reptiles and amphibians that are shown or heard are listed below. A pair of Canada Goose with goslings provides a common thread as spring advances. Being there gave me the sense of traveling back in time. Opening shots of sunrise and White-tailed Deer are from the first week of April on Selden Island a few miles upriver.
