Thank God you are back to refurbishing cars and trucks. I'm getting fed up with your infantile bastardisation of a iconic classic car, the Rolls Royce. What you are doing here is admirable and a credit to you. What you are doing to the Rolls is criminal.
So do your side mirrors if you adjust them correctly, there should be no need for those convex blind spot mirrors then. Why do people feel the need to fill up half the mirror with the side of their vehicle and open up a hole that they can't see?
Love my Titan! I dragged my ‘08 XE King Cab Flex Fuel out of a salvage yard 2 years ago, and fixed it up and made it super nice! Love to see one of my favorite youtubers getting the same thing I do!

@@nukekhang1740 good question. I'm only knowledge of the super duty being #1. #2 is anyone's guess. But Nissan is be a light truck, so actual size capacities come in to factor. Lesson being, buy a super duty or buy something lesser... Lol

If it has the towing package like my titan, it tows really well just towed my 23 foot camper to the keys almost 2thousand miles round trip from n.c . It's a beast . Not to mention I use it for my landscape tree business . So far so good 2005 nissan titan king cab . Real reliable .Camper weighs 4100 dry weight but we had kayaks bikes and gear, food packed so about 4500 pounds in case someone was wondering .
Towed a 30 ft trailer with mine. All over the road.Put sway bars on the trailer and the rear axle.Did not help.Traded for 2500 GMC .A way better truck.Handles trailers with ease
I have been looking for a truck like this to have as a backup vehicle. I always liked this body Nissan PU and still do for that matter. A great buy with that one JR, good job Brother.
Nice truck, the starter replacement in those is a pain in the ass, also please check the rearend, they like to blow up on these trucks and lock up and send you skidding into the guardrail
I started following you to watch the z28 build, I have a 2001 ws6. Then I seen this, and I have a 2006 titan the paint was fading on top so I repainted it with Toyota cement gray and I’ve had a loudmouth 1 exhaust on it sounds awesome plenty of power and I agree reliable engine!
I seem to remember they claimed less power than the Toyota Tundra 5.7 and yet they reved higher and were quicker. Kinda like the old school Mopar 340 engines back in the day. Pretty sure it's the same displacement in cubic inches too. 5.6 should be about 340 cubic inches. Either way they do sound nice and healthy and perfect if your just hauling minor stuff and not towing huge vehicles and hauling gravel all the time. At least it'll be fun to drive and have some snap to it. Hopefully the mpg won't be totally awful but it is the price you pay for fun.
The underlying message from the Wizard though is _"Unless you are willing to do the work yourself"_ then stay away from certain vehicles. That is where JohnRoss and Tyler differ. He does the work.

I part out the same Titan few months ago and I keep plenty of parts from it. All the modules and computers, dash, air bags, and more. Just let me know if you need something. FYI body parts and interiors are gone to the scrap yard.
I love my 08 Titan pro-4x. Be glad you have straight pipes. I had to replace both exhaust manifolds because they all eventually crack. Not a fun job at all.
I love my 05 titan. Theres times that id rather use it to pull my trailers then my ford f350... titans a beast. Put a cold air intake on it. You wont regret it
Just a heads up for ratcheting in tight spots... get yourself a Stanley "Rotator Ratchet" or similar. The handle twists as well to turn the drive- can't put a lot of torque on anything, but good for finger tight work in tight spots.
I love these trucks we need more videos i have an armada and ive done all kinds of service to it from filters to spark plugs and all the oils its got all i need is to replace the exhaust manifold and im good!
I would have thought a beater work truck would get a serious maintenance update and an interior clean up. Make it reliable and clean and its ready for work. Everything else is putting lipstick on a pig but if that what turns your crank.
I have a beater armada! 2005 with 207k and cracked exhaust manifolds! Woohoo. Sounds like a dump truck but will still haul butt. Gotta get some long headers soon!

I think cheaper and older trucks are a much better option, you get almost the same amount of power and capability of the newer trucks and you can add whatever mods you want without being afraid of drilling holes. Want a full sound system with component speakers, amps and two 12s? You got it, way easier to install in an older vehicle too. Just about anything a new vehicle has can be installed in an older one. Way cheaper to maintain too, I only pay for oil and gas on my 3rd gen 5.7. Rather keep this truck running than trade in like I see people do all the time.
Nice find for $2500. The only things to look out for on those which I’m sure the Wizard will tell you as well is the catalytic converters that go bad, those are an engine killer on those things, and the automatic transmissions. I would definitely recommend that you inspect both of those items for wear. Probably a good idea to do a ATF drain & fill for safe measures. But other than that it’s a pretty good truck. Should be great for hauling around all those hoopties you have.

Don’t forget to put fresh Full synthetic75w140 gear oil on the differential. That is a weak spot with those trucks.
Also service the trans.
Anthony But why would he need to service the Trans? I get a regular ATF flush but these Trans are basically bulletproof. Do some research
A trans service is changing the fluid. I think you need to research. I have had 7 Nissan trucks. I know quite a bit about them.
If I buy a V8, I want to hear a V8 ( my opinion). Not a muted one like some of the new trucks.
The Car Wizard even said not to buy one. I guess you’ve had Tyler influence you a bit too much.
