The TRD Pro is a beautiful truck! The gen 2 Tundra is overall a better truck. While it may not have all features of the new one, it does what a truck needs to do! It hauls and tows and it is rock solid reliable. The Texas hot shot guy has put a million miles on two of them now. The popularity of trucks as “life style vehicles”, in a way have ruined trucks! What was once simple, reliable and built to do a job have turned into luxury vehicles. Toyota which made its reputation on simplicity and reliability had drunk the kool aide! I understand the necessity of small displacement turbo engines to meet government regulations while giving the customer the power that they want but it can be done in a simpler manor. See The Car Care Nut on his review and evaluation of the the new Tacoma. In his view Toyota did choose simplicity in many areas of that truck. Not all but some. Power tail gate? Really? Come on! It’s a freakin truck! Not once on my 2020 Tacoma have I thought, I wish this truck had a power tailgate! My main thought has been, I’ve driven this truck over 90,000 miles and I haven’t had a single problem! This is why I buy Toyota and why the vast majority of Toyota owners buy Toyota! More time driving! Less time at the dealer fixing 💩!
I hear you man! Im a Nissan guy. Due to some issues and dislikes, I traded my 2023 Nissan Titan SV Midnight for a loaded 2024 Nissan Titan Pro4x. Yes, i took about 12k hit as well...or more. But im happier, and im not complaining to my wife every day about being unhappy with my truck and paying all this money. So yes, i lost in money, but gained in happiness. And health is wealth. Great video. I subbed when I brought a brand new 2022 1794 Tundra bc of your new Tundra content. The truck was absolute garbage in both cheap cosmetics, build as well as engine and I was able to trade-in at a mere 28k miles and actually make money ($5k) for a 2022 4Runner. Hi, there, we watch your videos and I have to say I appreciate your candor in letting us know hard numbers regarding your RUclips channel income. We are starting a channel and it helps a lot. Do you have a piece of advice in getting started? Anything is appreciated!
Great video. Congratulations. I purchased my 2019 TRD Pro voodoo blue new in 2019 and have 24,500 miles currently. Not a daily driver, humidity controlled garage kept, oldie but goodie, definitely my favorite truck. Take care and appreciate the updates.
Prices may have come down, but they went from absurd pricing to overpriced. Still not affordable and still not a price that is reasonable for people that don't run RUclips channels. Toyota is becoming a status brand. Soon people will go: "wow you got a Camry. You must be rich". Maybe it is time to bring Scion back. Maybe Toyota is the new Lexus and Lexus is the new Lamborghini 😂
You paid $50,000 for the truck. Question is, what did the dealership give the previous owner of the truck, for the truck? That’s the real depreciation??

Our country is way off track. You know this. I don’t care if I loose 1000 subs for that comment. It’s my facts. Good Man.
Thanks!
Great video. Congratulations. I purchased my 2019 TRD Pro voodoo blue new in 2019 and have 24,500 miles currently. Not a daily driver, humidity controlled garage kept, oldie but goodie, definitely my favorite truck. Take care and appreciate the updates.
They are still overpriced, and still working on getting kinks out of it
oh man... a broker online is selling them $13k off sticker... but the not trd pro.
Which tax code are you referring to?🤔
179. The tundra weighs over 6K lbs too
Prices may have come down, but they went from absurd pricing to overpriced. Still not affordable and still not a price that is reasonable for people that don't run RUclips channels. Toyota is becoming a status brand. Soon people will go: "wow you got a Camry. You must be rich". Maybe it is time to bring Scion back. Maybe Toyota is the new Lexus and Lexus is the new Lamborghini 😂
lol 😂
Well we know where you stand politically 😂hahhaha
$12,000 drop in a year 🧐 is this a Hyundai/Kia
Year and a half but yea.
Can you really write off New Tundra on your Taxes??
Yes. Section 179
You paid $50,000 for the truck. Question is, what did the dealership give the previous owner of the truck, for the truck? That’s the real depreciation??
It was weirdly sold to them at auction per the carfax
@@TRDJon Crazy!! But you know as well as I do the dealership made money!
Of for sure they did.

@@TRDJon Yes Sirrr. Enjoy the content.
Sorry, ain't no way I would've paid that for the trd pro, but to each their own.
For sure a bit.
You just lost a subscriber bringing in your uninformed opinion on “wars we don’t care about”. Sounds exactly like some who hates America! I served 20 years in Army. I care about our allies. I enjoyed your channel but that stupid point you just had to insert was morally bankrupt!
Bro I was military too. So you should care about our soil and our homeless veterans more than countries begging the US for money. It’s America first THEN we can help others. Our country is way off track. You know this. I don’t care if I loose 1000 subs for that comment. It’s my facts. We need to fix our countries problems first before we aid every single country out there just so $ can be funneled back into politicians and other leaders pockets.
@@TRDJonyour opinions are grossly uninformed and morally bankrupt. It’s a shame there are uncaring veterans like you. I hope you make all kinds of money with your channel and enjoy your life. While me and my son are overseas helping those who cannot help themselves. I alway knew being an American was bigger than just me and I taught my son the same values. Do more for others regardless of where they are. Enjoy the $1000s you brag about! Peace!
You clearly did not read my comment. So this conversation is going nowhere.
You got slammed. Good
Slammed? lol
Your math isn't mathing.
Thanks for the explanation as to why in your detailed comment. lol.
Trump 2024, Save America!
Russia 2024!
You needed to ask your price and stick to it. Toyota is selling trucks hands over fists !!!
Not sure I understand the comment
