    Great video but I urge everyone to first lower the deck and then release the belt tensioner spring on that pulley that keeps the belt tight. Otherwise it will be working against you through the entire process, especially at the end when you killing yourself trying to connect that front rod with the cotter pin. Your welcome. 😊

    Do you know if the TimeCutter® 60000 is the same as this model you are using? I'm trying to find videos specific for my model but you're the closest I have found.

      It’s similar. A lot depends on your engine and deck, mine is stamp deck. I have the Toro engine. If your specs are the same then we should be close.

    I have a total time cutter SS4225 I was wondering how do I level the deck it's not level.

    • @DeanoOutDoors
      @DeanoOutDoors  Год назад +2

      For side to side, there is a silver bracket on the left side of the mower that attaches to the hook. There will be a rod with a locking pin that can slide back and forth and a bolt facing the outside of the mower deck. Loosen that bolt slightly, then on the rear of that bracket at the bottom, there’s going to be a longer threaded bolt, usually a 1/2” deep well socket will fit this. Turn that bolt either clockwise or counter to adjust the height left to right. For front to back, adjust the bolts at the front of the deck. Hope this makes sense, would be easier with pictures. I will get a video out on this procedure in the near future.

    I actually had a torsion bar come out of the block. (Not engine) there is a torsion bar block that connects to the deck… do not ever, ever, step on you deck. Once you showed me how easy it was to get the deck off.. I had easy access to the torsion bar. I used a Stanley wrecking bar 5 Inchon the 45 degree. It was just enough to get the torsion bar back in the block hole. Thanks again. I’m an old guy. This was easy

    Great video. Thanks- question on oil change. If you have an oil pump is there any reason you couldn’t drain from the top through the oil fill tube? That way you avoid that dreaded plastic nut valve at the oil drain port? I have a Toro 5025. Thanks

    • @DeanoOutDoors
      @DeanoOutDoors  2 года назад

      I would recommend draining from the bottom, just to be sure that all the contaminants are removed. The newer Toro's use a tool free quick drain like in this video: ruclips.net/video/8ddgmhE8h8E/видео.html

    • @DeanoOutDoors
      @DeanoOutDoors  Год назад +1

      Lol, just a technique. Be sure to have the deck height adjustment lever to the full down position before lifting the deck back into place. Have it raised fully up when sliding the deck out and back under.

    • @DeanoOutDoors

      No problem, if you have the same model, the rear of the deck just lifts into place and two hook brackets sit on a shaft. It’s easier to attach the belt to the rear before attempting to attach the deck as well.
