When i was a child i loved this, when i was a teenager i discovered death metal and i wondered how i could have listened to Gary. When i became an adult i noticed the similarities of death metal and blues rock and since then i have loved both. Gary you old fucker, you've gone way too fucking soon.

A bunch of videos of this song are crediting Gary Moore with writing this song......This song was written and performed by "Jimmy Rodgers", in the 1950's with "Big Walter" Horton on harmonica (you can see him in Blues Brothers movie too) NOT GARY MOORE. He and other artists have covered it too, Paul Butterfield's live version is great. Just search "Jimmy Rodgers Walkin' by Myself". Like Elvis did not write "Hound Dog", it was "Big Mama Thorton" great singer and harp player! Good to give proper credit!
