Wow this was awesome, hit a plateau recently and listening to you walk through how you approach a fight really opened my eyes to some new xiaoyu styling! Appreciate all the hard work you put into this!
I'm glad me talking endlessly about my decisions is gonna be a contribution on your playstyle haha tbh it's all automatic once you get your style Thank you and I appreciate you guys watching these as well 🤗
@@SilantroTekkenit is extremely helpful. The "I used my advantage to get to AOP and than 1 2" after the heat engager from dragunov was so fun to listen to. Considering to be put on crouch by Dragunov as an advantage for exemple, is something realy inspiring❤
I rewatched it and it should've been "I used my disadvantage" 😭 but yeahh like I said...you are a Xiaoyu player, so you need to make use of each situation no matter if it's good or bad Glad you found it inspiring 🤗
@@SilantroTekken I rewatched this video ans sincerly, I think this was one of the best video I watched in a while. The fact that you explain what you wanted to do, what you did, where you failed etc... it made me realize several things such as the importance of using 1, D2 more often, several other points with the flow. Thanks to that I managed to beat even if only once a Bryan Tekken God of destruction and I am no longer as much demolished as I was from my tekken king rank. FF3, side step, 4 or such offensive side stepping is much clearer now in my head. This was great. Thanks a lot
This is so awesome! As I'm watching your match review I'm realizing that I don't think deliberately about range. What I mean is I'm probably using moves at the wrong range. I rarely use f4 even though I know its properties because I whiff it and get launched often when I throw it out. But when you pause on your f4 and explained the range here, that showed me why it's not working for me - I use it too close and the startup time is too long for that range.
Yep... it's really important when and where to use certain moves haha another example would be ub3 which I will only use with a far distance or when I sidestep and I confirm a whiff F4 on the other hand is a keepout move, but can be used when you see a whiff or when you read that they will sidestep as it is homing Try to use it after a Heat Burst or Dash 😉
@@SilantroTekken I'll keep it in mind! It was very helpful to see the actual range on screen that is optimal, if you're looking for more content ideas maybe a range guide where you go over key moves that will always fail at the wrong range would be helpful!
Thank you for the guide and gameplay dissection, really helpful! Question: what is guaranteed from CH ff3 (raccoon swing) and what’s the best combo from RDS 4 and AOP d1+2?
1.) There is no guaranteed combo after CH ff3 as the +12 that you are seeing is called Guardable Advantage 2.) I am not knowledgeable with optimal combos tbh because my playstyle is very different so I labbed some and try these b3 -> RDS 2 -> iWS2 -> RDS 1,2 -> dash -> uf4~D -> ws4 USING RDS 4 = 71 damage USING AOP d1+2 = 79 damage df2 -> f2 -> f3,1 -> RDS 1,2 -> dash -> uf4~D -> ws4 USING RDS 4 = 69 damage USING AOP d1+2 = 77 damage I'm not a fan of optimal combos by the way haha so yeah
@@SilantroTekkenwow thank you so much! I think I get the idea. I will try to apply mixups from CH ff3. RDS on hit and +12 is still great. Interesting point on not using optimal combos. Do you like to poke more/punish/confuse in general?
@@SilantroTekken that makes complete sense given Xiaoyu isn’t really known for her combo damage output 😂 this is what I love about her. I need to learn stuff I rarely use or pay attention to
Yep haha she has the tools to make it happen, although I am now being more optimal because I realized I can do the same "Reset" style while still being optimal
hi silantro can u make videos all xiaoyu's move that can go into stance, for example if i press ws 1, 3 it goes into rds. i watch some videos, he can go to hypnotist after phoenix and press 1, he imidiatlyy goes into hypnotist, and i see ur videos against dragun, u always use ws 2 and imidiatlyy put in hypnotist, how did u do that??. ty bruh~

I don't know tbh haha it's just there and I didn't bother to remove it
