Happy new year. Could you cover some of the unique taunt setups in a video? I found this for example to get a full launch on people who 2p after blocking your RDS transition: After entering RDS you can buffer the 1+3+4 taunt to dodge the low and do RDS+4 to launch them as a punish. The taunt crushes lows on frames 8-10, so if you enter with -2 from df+1 you can beat 2p and you can also beat stuff like Nina's d+4 at 12f. It technically also works on slower lows but since you can't buffer the input, it's much harder then.

2:44 was relieving for me. I thought I need to know the same combos that high rank players know. Started Tekken 8 recently btw (yesterday), been having fun with Xiaoyu b1+2, f2, f3+1, f2+1 finishing with heat burst and heat smash. The damage is low (61 damage) but it's what I can do right now, and I know where to focus on my game, in street fighter 6 I know a lot of combos but don't know the fundamentals (whiff punishing and anti airs). So in Tekken 8 I will focus on the fundamentals and use this combo I mentioned.

I will definitely use X Marks The Spot more. It is a move she has from the very beginning (not from WS ofc), and I remember using it a lot back then, yet I don't do it in T8 almost at all. 🥲 RDS uf1 seems soo risky, a 33f frame move from a stance you can't block from and both the move and the cancel is option selectable with a hopkick... But as I see it works... even in mirror matches against a GoD. 😅

If you do X marks the spot on block and delay the second hit, 9 outta 10 times it will be a counterhit on opponents online, cuz they press asap after the first hit. I was amazed to find out how often that works.

You should do u1+2,2,1 it slightly evades 10frame jabs after i do 1, df1, or 1,2 on bkock

hi silantro can u make videos all xiaoyu's move that can go into stance, for example if i press ws 1, 3 it goes into rds. i watch some videos, he can go to hypnotist after phoenix and press 1, he imidiatlyy goes into hypnotist, and i see ur videos against dragun, u always use ws 2 and imidiatlyy put in hypnotist, how did u do that??. ty bruh~

Well this is helpful, been getting matched with Clives 70% of the time. Doesn't help they always seem to have 100k more tekken prowess too... Some of these moves seem to let you move earlier than I thought, I wondered why punishes didn't go through even if it seemed reasonable. Those flashy effects man.

Silantro I noticed that after 1,d2 into bt d4 if the opponent back dashes it wont clean hit but if you wait after they backdash it will clean hit is this a bug?

I did not understand the Lee stuff. Concerning Steve, I often do hypnotist than right away 2 and it clip their stance all the time. I may be only lucky but it worked for me👍
