@MeepMeep I disagree. I think it was pretty obvious that it was going to happen next once they did the Nether Update with 3D biomes. That was a tipoff that the cave update was coming.
Mojang started way before the idea of a cave update became popular and such a high demand. They didn't tell us about it since they wanted to keep it a secret so they didn't have to rush everything which is good so we can see a full complete update
Wow, for someone like me who has played vanilla Minecraft for almost 8 years now this seams like it’s a mod! Really shows how far this game has come.
ha yes same for me man. (but for me it's 7 years) It feels like a mod but I really like the ideas tho, I don't hate it at all.
I have only played minecraft for about 3 or 4 years but it really seems like a mod I agree. However it looks very interesting. The nether update was crazy and I never thought they would have an update bigger than that and so shortly after. Guess I was wrong.

It was about time they changed the terrain generation. Hopefully changing the build limit and sea level as well.
Personally I hope they rethink a whole lot of this because it really does seem like a mod. For example I really don't want more stone variants that are gotten through mining

Glow squid 😂 tbh I really wanted the flower cow we have had the same peaceful mobs since the start wanted to see that considering the mooshroom cow is hard to find now
The glowsquid is so pointless. You're never gonna see it and if you build an underwater base you're still not gonna see it because it doesn't even glow lmao
I don't know personally I found the cow the least interesting. the glow squid brings some life into the depth of the ocean and I'm sure those mechanics can be tampered with. Tho the wizard seemed kind of dope and I'm sure you could make interesting stuff with those snow cloud mechanics

Well ender dragon got more health and plus a great arena and ender men hella annoying and ender crystals heal it and the warden is blind it may be very strong but what’s its health and what can a enchanted set do to it it’s also cheesable but still very tough

@@lauradaines8072 the looks of it , the thing's not very good at avoiding deep holes , so yes , you could probably cheese it with a bow and a hole , and unless it can break blocks , you can also wall it in
The boss is not even a boss, it may do damage but it will probably be easy as hell to beat, just stack up 3 blocks and kill it like you would an iron golem, with actual bosses they fly and do massive damage so you can’t do that
I can't wait to add caves to the list of places in Minecraft that I'm too afraid to go to.

By the size and height of the caves I'm guessing that they will either generate in mountains or the whole world terrain will be higher up.
I'd be all for increasing the world height to 512, since now there's twice as much space for caves and mountains, the focus of this update
Yeah, I was thinking the same. Minecraft could benefit from deeper terrain in all sort of ways, not just caves. I would appreciate some super duper deep sea oceans for underwater base building, so let's hope! Super hyped.
I just hope they double the height limit and generation of ores if they have to do that

This is insane. Minecraft is evolving beyond anything I ever imagined and has changed from "that simple block game" to a complex game even more full of creativity and freedom then before.

Literally going through every video that includes the warden since I'm planning on trying to capture two of them to keep as children/guardians. So far, this really helps in the perspective of how careful I would have to be when leading just one back home, as a single step could screw me over in just seconds.

I love how the new minecraft updates essentially forces players to use relatively unused items to actually be able to experience everything fully, like gold for the nether, leather for the mountains, snowballs and other noise making projectiles for the warden, its just really cool!

Ig there could be different difficulties. I just saw a video where a warden ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED A GUY IN FULL NETHERITE ARMOR. You’d have to completely avoid them or reroute.
and if that motion sensor was added ealier,tango would've saved lots of time trying to catch those puffer fish
im worried they wont be able to update s7 to 1.17 because of the insane world generation changes. they were able to reset the nether but theyd have to reset some overworld chunks for this. even worse, the world format could be changed and it wouldnt be possible to get 1.17 features in 1.16 worlds. which sucks not only for hermitcraft but for players who have amazing worlds in 1.16 that they spent months on.

just be smart and do not go head on with the mob and only crouch to move, u can even throw projectiles in the other direction as demonstrated in the gameplay
They need to make a desert pyramid update. Like an actual maze with a map and traps would be SO cool.
YES PLEASE. More structures is always awesome, as long as they're not interfering with the rest of the game too much. A lot of people resort to grinding to get enchantments and such, but imagine fighting your way through hordes of monsters and dodging traps to get possibly even better loot!
In my opinion it would be cool if you couldn't mine walls and stuff in the pyramid
@@Silver-bj8nt I think being able to mine the walls would be essential for if it was, for example, in the way of a build - but there should still be a way to prevent players from cheesing it. Maybe the walls have lava in them or something

Yeah, but it might also be harder. The skulk sensor gives out different signals, and you have make sure you are taking the right signal etc..

Between the aquatic update, villager update, nether update, and now this cave and cliff update, it feels like a brand new game. I'm so happy we keep geting these updates over a decade later. No other game or studio would ever do this
Started playing Java in 1.4 (had been playing PE for a while at that point) and it's crazy to see how far this game has come. So happy that it's getting the attention it deserves through new updates and now Smash!

Forest/aesthetics update
@DKGames Yeah, it's an understandable feeling. Back when 1.13 came out, it felt like a modpack in vanilla. Now, the oceans feel so dull without it. Classic Minecraft definitely has its charms, but a lot of these new features have drastically expanded the possibilities and made Minecraft so much better. I'm sure this update will feel the same over time.
The warden is such a good addition, it seriously is otherworldly. If it had normal animations (like simple arm and leg swinging) it would just look stupid, but Mojang gave it very odd and top-heavy(ish) animations like something you would expect from a mod.
Just me or is it the clicker from last of us? The sounds and the concepts are the same

I agree. Vanilla Minecraft no longer seems vanilla, it gives off very “modded” vibes
i like most of it. not sure how i feel about the warden, skulk sensors, and archaeological sites. the first 2 feel modded, the latter just seems out of place

The Deep Dark biome looks like an infection from the End. Ender pearl-like green grass? A blind mob? Sound-based plant? Idk, seems kinda End-like to me
