The Empire's strict adherence to rigidity and inflexibility made it inferior to the Republic. Soldiers and equipment who can adapt easily to rapidly changing circumstances are invaluable and can turn the tide of any battle easily.

I don't think a whole lot of people appreciate the badassness that this clip portrays, when Asoka jumps on that ATTE window and starts deflecting shots, and you see that awesome camera angle, those clones are climbing a Fucking wall, probably gripping for their lives and they're still firing at the enemy, obeying orders. That's pretty badass, one of the most badass moments In star wars probably (in my opinion)
Thats the funny thing: they have in-built helmet commlinks that enable the troopers to communicate without any outsiders to listen in. They banter constantly, just like they mock some of the superiors for their stupidity. Source: Republic Commando novels.

A change in their voice is to be expected not only with how long the war had dragged on, but also the experiences they had both gone through as individuals who suffered the loss of many friends who either died on the front lines or sacrificed themselves for the greater good.
As an 8 year old kid, absolutely loved this movie. As a 21 year old, has lots of flaws, but this scene is still as badass as I remember... Edit: Also 1:53 hits different...

well they were used as a improvised dropship and got dropped on top of a Separatist cruiser, a few of them formed into an almost impenetrable ring of defense in Geonosis and in season 1 they were deployed on an asteroid field to ambush and outflank Separatist ships.
This will always be a favorite battle scene of mine despite the movies criticisms. The AT-TE scaling the cliff, Ashoka protecting the pilot viewport, and that badass star wars/rock track playing mid battle.

One of the things I like about the Clone Wars era is how many awesome machines were used, the AT-TE right there on top of the list - and the series really made full use of the "AT" part.
Remember, the Rebels show is speculated to happen before the original trilogy. Therefore, it is possible that the rebels were building their strength throughout the show to fight big battle likes Hoth, Endor and Jakku.
N05L31 this and the stuff on Christhopsis is all pretty neat, but yeah, the rest isn't that good.. The problem with your second argument is that the rebels timeperiod doesn't have much big groundbattles. Plus, the rebel cell in the show is one that's mainly focused on spaceships
The shot with Rex at 2:54 has always been such eye candy for me, with the AT-TE restabilizing in the background getting ready to make its final advance.
Have to admit, this movie had some cool battle sequences we hardly ever saw again. The red light green light stuff, climbing cliffs, trench warfare on Christophsis etc
I may get crucified for this, but this is my favorite Star Wars movie action wise. This scene, the battle of Christophis, and Dooku VS Anakin are some of my favorite fights in all of Star Wars.
just came to watch this after seeing episode 10 of season 7. its insane how far the animation has come since 2007. i was 9 when this movie came out and now im 22 watching the last episodes taking place during Revenge of the Sith. what a crazy ride its been with this franchise.
Heh another fun thing is there is a clone trooper named Ridge which killed in the last episode by Maul in this clip. ("Ridge you got static on your com" In the LAAT gunship. And "Ridge is down!" after he gets sliced to the wall by Maul)

The funniest and saddest thing is Ahsoka being more considered about beating Anakin in a race than protecting the life of the AT-TE operator. Really says a lot about the Jedi Order 😢
Honestly, I'm now 90% sure this was the first battle shown in the Ahsoka show. The second part was on Ryloth because of the twi'leks. Remember, it was less of a flashback and more present day Ahsoka reliving the memory with force ghost Anakin (or whatever he was)

The funniest and saddest thing is Ahsoka being more considered about beating Anakin in a race than protecting the life of the AT-TE operator. Really says a lot about the Jedi Order 😢
Ahsoka protecting the walkers cabin while it’s climbing vertically is one of the most badass moments in the entirety of the show

Honestly, I'm now 90% sure this was the first battle shown in the Ahsoka show. The second part was on Ryloth because of the twi'leks.
Remember, it was less of a flashback and more present day Ahsoka reliving the memory with force ghost Anakin (or whatever he was)
