@@YehoashDream thanks man! I appreciate the kind words. I was just playing around last night and found a tone that was really working for that song. It’s a “maxed 88 jubilee profile” on the kemper with some reverb and delay. Sounded better in person but you can only do so much with an iPhone 😄
@@metalworx4765 thanks man! I appreciate it. Actually this LP has a “slashbucker” in the bridge from one of the slash LP models. I do have another LP that does have the SD 2.0 in the bridge. It’s interesting because both of the LPs are standard 50s and the SD 2.0 and the “slashbucker” sound very close. The 2.0 has a bit more mids maybe but it’s subtle. I like both.

@@Hellraiseruk hey yea, I understand. I’m still working through the legato and being able transition more fluidly through the positions. It’s an ongoing process. The bluesy bends come to me more naturally, the legato is very much a work in process. Stick with it 👍🏼
@@bhaskarjyotihazarika6919 hey man, I am flattered that you even asked me to do that ha. Well, I had never even heard that song until just now! I had a listen, definitely sounds like some classic slash licks and patterns. In all honesty I am not the best at teaching exact solos. I could likely play a lot of that solo but it would take me a lot of time and work to try to nail that. I tend to to improvise mostly or just make up my own solos at this point. I did spend a lot of time in the past trying to learn most of the solos off AFD just because they were so classic and I had longed to know them since I was a kid, but I rarely play them now. I do still go back to rocket queen a lot because it’s just such a classic. But yea man, if I were more on the level of laszlo or Jakob maybe I’d do a tutorial on that tune, but it might take me too long ha. I will continue to make lessons that are the style of slash so hopefully it will still give you the tools to try to achieve his sound and vibe, that’s really more what I tend to do. To be honest I am more of a fan of Gsharp’s playing then slash ! 😲

@@jamesdavis5096 ha! I think that’s actually a reasonable point. Some of my favorite guitar hero’s like slash, Hendrix, Page weren’t afraid to go off the rails a bit and take some chances. Sometimes that sloppiness gives it rock n roll edge that I like. My personality or tendency is to be more precise so I need to accept some slop more often. This sounds too good. You need to add about 45% more sloppiness to it to make it totally authentic.
