As someone who went into Xenoblade about 99% blind (a few minor things were spoiled to me), this theme was an amazing first impression of the game's music. It's one of my favorite songs in the soundtrack.

I played it before playing Xenoblades 2 last month. Wow, this game was something truly special. The only thing I've seen was my friend playing around in the first town back in the Wii version years ago.
A truly under-appreciated track, mostly since everyone seems most familiar with the tracks that appear in Smash. Another one that never gets any love anymore is Unfinished Battle. It's definitely up there with Confrontation with the Enemy and You Will Know Our Names.
Let’s appreciate the perfect harmonics played at 0:19. Those were so clear and crisp. That must have taken extreme bow control and precise intonation for that to have sounded so perfect.
When I pick this game up on Friday,i'm putting it into my N3DS and just let the title screen go through the whole day cycle. Glad that one of my favorite games ever is getting a port. This theme makes me feel like crying.

Xenoblade Chronicles is a game I think is extremely ambitious. For a 480p Wii game by a 2nd party developer, they really showed off the powers of the Wii with stunning art directions, amazing music, and a massive world to explore with recognisable and lovable characters and a fun gameplay style to learn. More devs can learn from Xenoblade. This game also makes me wanna try out Xenogears and Xenosaga
Ahhhh I remember spamming Nintendo's Facebook page back in the operation rainfall days when they wouldn't localize this thing. Now shulk is in smash, its been released twice and Nintendo is promoting it non stop. :') we've come a long way
HibHab69 while not a bad idea, the original would need to be buffed the same way Bayo 1 did. The thing with Bayo 1 was that it got overhauled for the Wii U system along with a few aesthetic changes made to it as well. I doubt Monolith has the time to do such a thing

Hear me out, to play Xenoblade Chronicles as it stands now you can do one of three things: get a good PC for who knows how much and run it with some problems in Dolphin, get a new 3DS for $200 plus this for a heavy cost of about $250 after tax, or you can get the Wii version which is stupid expensive simply used. If they put the old one in there, even without fancy 720p graphics, it could push some folks towards getting X for that alone. Saying that I would generally prefer an HD-remake so that places like Gaur Plain could look a little less blocky and truly as good if not better than the environments do in X. I'm just spit ballin' silly ideas xD
HibHab69 I was lucky enough to get the original on Wii, and have also seen footage of it running on Dolphin. It really deserves a 720p/1080p update...but as MrVince329 pointed out, updating Bayo 1 was no small task and Xenoblade is a much bigger, much more open game, so there probably isn't the time/budget for it.
I'm not ashamed to admit I hopped on the Xenoblade bandwagon after Shulk was announced for Smash 4. I played the game and it's since become one of my favorites. I love everything about it, but especially the music. This is too beautiful.
I picked up a new 3ds for my 16th birthday along with this game. I heard nothing about it but I wanted to play it so bad. When I popped it in and heard this song, I just sat there for 45 minutes listening to the beautiful music. This is the first song I have ever actually cried to and Its an experience everyone should experience because this is such an amazing work of art.

Was anyone else getting a Kingdom Hearts vibe while listening to this? I swear, this sounds so elegant. I tried getting Xenoblade for Wii but i couldnt get the one copy my local gamestop had cause it was $80. I was short like $15 thinking it would cost as much as a normal Wii game. Came back like 1-2 days later, it was boughten by someone else. Now this song pretty much reminds me of how sad I was and how much I missed out on. Still this song has such a wonderfull feel to it. In all honesty, I'm glad that Nintendo exists. They have brought us countless hours of fun. They rescued the videogames industry when it was needed the most. Making amazing consoles and games, innovating, always searching ways to bring new gameplay styles to us. True. They had made mistakes, but If something is admirable about them, is how they keep going, trying new things, taking risks. Wii U didn't sell well? Okay, back to the drawing board and think in how reverse that situation. The result? Nintendo Switch, an innovative way to play videogames wherever you want, whenever you want. A good marketing campaing, a constant stream of releases every single month, enter the crossplay with other platforms, a competitive online suscription price, excelent exclusives on the console's first year, and the result is a success and a comeback no one saw it coming. I'm sure Iwata from wherever he is now, is so proud of what his last gift for us, the Nintendo Switch is achieving n.n
Still like the online service? Mario limited release really hurt my respect for them. Really the only thing I admire now is that they keep making quality games for the most part. They almost never release a game before it's ready. And they dare to delay a game that needs it. That is a good thing.

I had seen a let's play of this game and fell in love with it. So much that I searched high and low for a copy of xenoblade and eventually around Christmas time I had found a copy of xenoblade. When I first played it, this song played. It was the first time I heard it and it and the changing scenery solidified my love for this game. Just listening to it almost brings me to tears
This soundtrack...it suddenly popped up when I started Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii...and I holded the title screen for an entire hour or somewhat...I just wanted to play a new JRPG. And we found a piece of art, No, a piece of culture which I consider a modern form of classical music, similar like being composed by Mozart or Bach or someone else...this is truly a masterpiece of music, merged down with emotion from the deepest part of heart, which I didn't know I even have.

Definitely one of the best games I've ever played. Definitely one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard to boot!
I get chills watching this. The slow build up with the violin gets me.
I had seen a let's play of this game and fell in love with it. So much that I searched high and low for a copy of xenoblade and eventually around Christmas time I had found a copy of xenoblade. When I first played it, this song played. It was the first time I heard it and it and the changing scenery solidified my love for this game. Just listening to it almost brings me to tears

GOD, I love this game and its music.
This soundtrack...it suddenly popped up when I started Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii...and I holded the title screen for an entire hour or somewhat...I just wanted to play a new JRPG.
And we found a piece of art, No, a piece of culture which I consider a modern form of classical music, similar like being composed by Mozart or Bach or someone else...this is truly a masterpiece of music, merged down with emotion from the deepest part of heart, which I didn't know I even have.
ACE needed to do Xenoblade X, Hiroyuki Sawano is such a hit or miss composer
Henry .LT I loved Sawano's battle themes, although ACE+ shoud have teamed up with him...
Henry .LT all his songs slapped it just didn’t fit xenoblade whatsoever. I’d call him a phenomenal composer just bad choice for the game. Sorry for replying to a 4 year old comment.
Also another thing, this theme is just one of the many reasons why I love Yoko Shimomura!

+Shulk Monado omg i feel your pain. the music in that game is honestly so bad if you compare it to the first game. there are some good songs in the game, but the rest a re subpar. the xenoblade for wii, all the songs ranged from A- to A+
