Did you notice that the music just get this full beat and melody when you’re moving? If you stand still the music also doesn’t go further. It’s awesome how Nintendo put such details in their games. Love The Legend of Zelda ❤️
I think, to me, Twilight Princess is the best. It improves on so much from WW and OOT, along with adding more into it. Even if it is a bit more linear than the 2D games, the adventure is so worth it.
I have to agree with these two as well. It's not a bad game by any means, but it just feels so... standard. Nothing really feels unique or special about it. Majora's mask, my personal favorite of all the series, has that three day system that really makes the game stand out. Wind waker has that feeling of exploration with the cast ocean to explore. A lot of people might disagree on this, but I enjoyed sailing the seas and discovering new stuff. Again my I'm not saying Twilight Princess is a bad game. I loved it, and am loving the remake. But nothing really makes it "pop".
PokechuXD I agree 100%. MM is my favorite game of all time, not just from the LoZ series. It's so unique, creepy, emotional etc! i love it. But TP is just so... Well I don't feel like going into it. But it's my least favorite LoZ game by far.
Twilight Princess. This is possibly Nintendo's last console game of this scale to use orchestration rather than live instruments. (Starting with Galaxy, it was actual orchestras recording trhe majority of the tracks.) I am always gonna miss the days of orchestration. So much character. This song (the best of all Hyrule Field theme songs) does not suffer one bit for it.
@@SerpongeDash Oh yeah, that's exactly what I mean by orchestratated music -- MIDI. (Actually, Galaxy 1 & 2 also use MIDI for quite a few of their tracks as well). Completely agree that MIDI is awesome.
@@evilishies I am so stupid I thought you meant this was one of the last time they used a full orchestra in real time, and that they then switched to individual instrument recordings that they'd put together later! So yeah, sorry for that, and I'm glad we could agree that MIDI is awesome :)
After listening to a lot of the music from Twilight Princess, I have found out what midi samples/sounds were used to sequence the music. This music sounds like it was sequenced on a very old version of the Peter Siedlaczek's Classical Orchestra and Choir samples. That's right. The same midi samples that were used to make the music for "Jet Force Gemini" was used to make the music for this game. I know this, because a lot of the synthesized choir sounds used in Twilight Princess are exactly the same as in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, and some Siedlaczek Choir samples were used to make the music for those games too. It actually kind of makes sense that the music of Ocarina, Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess are sequenced on similar samples, because canonically those three games go together three parts of one big story, like an indirect trilogy.
Thanks for your comment, I love researching this kind of stuff and understanding how things are connected. Must admit listening to Siedlaczek's Choir samples and was like waking up from a childhood dream. Found another sample pack Toru utilized called Sounds Good New World Order 2.
I remember when I first heard this song 10 years ago. Just got done with the forest temple, you feel like you can take on anything, you stock up on what you can before leaving Ordon, stop by the afro guy's house to refill your lantern oil, and head through the gate. After a short loading screen, the name Hyrule Fields fades in at the top left corner of the screen and you are greeted by adventurous, catchy music that will stay with you forever. The camera drops back down behind Link and you are back in control. You walk around the wall of tress only to find Hyrule Castle and her high towers wrapped in a giant golden wall which by this point you know is the Twilight. I like how your goal is to get to the castle and you can see it dead-ahead but you know you have to literally fight your way to it zone by zone. You have a whole kingdom to save after all.
This really brings me back... I know I'm both extremely young and also extremely late to comment this especially one year afterwards. I remember the first time I had to leave what actually felt like home to me - but stepping outside to a harsher environmental made me feel more strongwilled, like the coming of age. I felt like this is what Hyrule field should always be, a fresh breath of the wild (okay pun attended) that gives you a taste of the open world and what's to come. The motivation, the fear behind the grandeur and even the small melodies that all depend on the snare to keep moving forward - gives you a sense of direction. Funny thing was I did not expect to hear this the first time as I accidentally wandered off... it jumpscared me with the random trumpet blaring XD
Hands down the best rendition of Hyrule Field that I've heard. Love this game, and the HD version improved a lot of the issues I had with the original.
It's so beautiful:') It was so nostalgic hearing Hyrule Field theme again while riding Epona in Twilight Princess HD. And learning more about the musical composition from the composer while listening to the music is great, I love this Nintendo.
+solder1994 I have to confess, I have never finished 3D Zelda. =/ I like Zelda games for NES, I adore Link to the past and I am currently playing Link Between worlds.
+JohnPlays But 3D Zeldas are boring, like the dungeons take like an hour to complete and at the end of the dungeon there is some slow and tedious boss fight. Also the controls never shined at 3D Zeldas, like those horseback fights at Twilight princess OMG. =/ But it´s pointless to argue, you can´t change my mind.
This song is permanently imprinted into my brain due to all the time 11 year old me spent riding Epona around swinging my sword like a crazy person. Good times.
