@@WDDetailing do you have like a car care package you have that has all the necessary sprays in it? Like what are the essentials that I’d would need to do a great personal detail on my car?
I’m so elated! thank you guys for helping me gain the freedom to drive during such a difficult time for me in life. It really impacts my life in a positive way. I look forward to spreading the word about y’all. 😊🎉 god bless you & Merry Christmas!
guys I just wanted to say that guys like you are angels in disguise Ty for helping that young lady get a car of her own and learn how to drive with the passing of her father 😢
Not gonna lie I was cutting a few onions there during the car giveaway portion of the video. God bless you guys for not only making great content on this channel but also trying to make a difference with the success of it. Hope you all have an amazing holiday over there on WD Detailing!
The owner was particular about the way you wash and detail it as opposed to leaving them idol covered in dust with dead mice throughout the interior, yep makes sense to me..
FINALLY! You did before and after shots of the entire car at the end! I've been asking for that for a long time. That really shows the difference with your work! You need to do that with all your cars.
The owner is quite picky considering both cars are have been left to rot and that you guys are doing it for free , maybe he should be a little more appreciative of your time and work He acts like its a priceless car , its a 72 350 vette very basic lol not even original. you guys do great all the time !!
This dude seemed so unappreciative of the work you did, especially after his insane demands. He has the most “whatever” type of attitude of anyone you have had on your channel. I wouldn’t do anything else for this dude. I’m a little dumbfounded that you gave this guy your cleaning products.
I’m not even there yet… 10 minutes in and I’m like “why does this hoarder care so much about how you do your job?” Dude, stay in your lane. I already don’t like him.
Nice of the owner to leave the cars in such a difficult spot. Almost like they wanted you all to mess up or damage something to blame you all. I'd pass on the other car with how the owner is. They can't be that anal when they purposely neglect two nice cars such as these.
I hope they don’t do the 427. The whole point of “detailing” is to make sure the entire car has that pleasurable experience. The owner clearly neglected this car, but provisions a waterless cleaning?! It’s quite ridiculous.
Agree but its content, they have to seek out these vehicles which isnt exactly easy and even though they do it for free im pretty sure they get alot of people who say no just because they can. dealing with people is the hardest part of any job. im pretty sure they have alot of people ghosting them or wasting their time. they need content so they have to do what they have to do.
The owner had paint cans and trash on both corvettes and hasn't washed them in decades - You guys are bringing them back to life, he shouldn't be worried about anything!
I’m a big fan of you guys and absolutely love the channel! However, I have to admit I felt a bit disappointed with the decision to take on this particular owner’s car. The requests they made seemed a little unreasonable given the condition of the vehicle, and it felt like it left you doing something you didn’t really want to do. I even recall a moment where you mentioned you hated it. Personally, I’d vote against doing the other vehicle the owner has and instead pick a project from someone who would truly appreciate your incredible work. To be honest, I also felt this vehicle didn’t quite meet the criteria you usually set at the beginning of your videos-it didn’t seem to have the same level of dirt and character as a typical barn find. That said, I want to end on a positive note because you guys are truly amazing. What you did by giving away a vehicle to someone in need was absolutely wonderful, and it speaks volumes about the kind of people you are. Keep up the amazing work!
If the owner cared that much about the car, he wouldn’t have let get in this condition. That’s stupid. If he gets caught in the rain then what? I’m sure the water won’t do anything to the inside or parts. The water can be wiped up
First off, I just want to say that you all do an amazing job with the vehicles you work on, and I’m genuinely excited for the new product line you’re launching. I’ve been a fan of your work for a long time and appreciate the care and dedication you put into each project. However, after watching this particular video, I have to admit it struck a nerve with me. The owner of the car came across as really ungrateful, showing little appreciation for the work you all did. It’s frustrating to see that kind of attitude when you put so much effort into cleaning these cars. I have a strong feeling that the car will just end up back in the same condition it started in, possibly back in a dirty barn, with no real value placed on what you did. I’ve seen many of your fans echo similar thoughts in the comments, and I have to agree with most of them. If you do decide to work on the other vehicle, it feels like it might miss the mark of what you’ve always stood for with your barn finds - the stories, the gratitude, and the meaning behind it all. Doing the other vehicle just because it’s there and you want to, seems like it might move away from the purpose that’s driven your success. Ultimately, it’s your decision, but I’d like to suggest for you not to make it one of the videos you post. Considering how ungrateful the owner was in this case, it might alienate some viewers and leave them with a different outlook. Keep doing what you do best - detailing cars that have meaning, and letting that shine through in your work.
You guys are so awesome! Seeing what you did Lauren really touched me and made me realize there still are good people left in this world. Going through my chaos and struggles ATM, appreciate you guys, keep up the great work
I am really glad that as a business you are listening to your customer's instructions (even if you know they are ridiculous). It is nice to see the respect you show for the cars as well as the people.
If the owner is concerned about these guys cleaning it and detailing it then why has he just left these cars to rot in his barn?. Why doesn't he clean them himself instead of letting them get as dirty as they are. Why tell these guys not to wash them in the normal way they do things?. Just doesn't make sense sounds like a moody old man whos obsessed with a toy that he doesn't want anybody touching!
I don’t always get my car detailed for free but when I do I don’t want it detailed. I totally get it. It ran perfectly before you dry washed it. I should’ve just left in the barn 😂
I think the owner was a bit anal about the waterless wash. On an already clean car they may work in between regular washes like say at a show but for this type of dirt, I don't see how you can't help but scratch the car. I hope he changes his position for the 427......They're for the air vents. Used on non ac equipped cars. And lastly, that dude was one of the most unappreciative owners I've seen. Gets a free detail, but has "conditions" to be met.
Yeah. Let the cars rot in the barn for who knows how long and then getting picky about how it's washed. Then it will go back into the barn for the next 30 years.
Right?! Let's these two beauties sit for years, neglecting them and then acting all concerned about water getting in the engine bay? I bet he's one of those wanting to make big bucks out of them and not appreciating the cars at all
The owner is being overly cautious about getting the car wet. Except for the vents on the rear deck washing the car as you usually do is fine. Ive done many of my own the same way and not once had any issues.
You guys and power and performance ... that was a great thing to do. Thinking and helping others, when we can, is what makes us decent human beings. Well done, you guys 😊
Melissa and I enjoyed meeting you guys on Tuesday. The levers on the console open vents on the kick plates (by your feet) for outside air. Thank you for not dwelling too long on the dead critters. And the comparison shots at the end REALLY accentuated the difference from dirty to clean. WELL DONE!! Merry Christmas! Steven Tyler
We opened Christmas presents today, and my husband loved getting some of your new products! The iron remover really is the best smelling on the market! He really loved the note and getting all of your initials on the card. He said the hat was impressive, and the included bottle and spray nozzles are very high quality. He hasn't gotten a chance to try the products out yet, but he's looking forward to it. I'm glad you opened the shop in time for Christmas!

35:37 For all the people hating on the dude, he explains why he wanted a water-less wash. He also just seems like a reserved person that just doesn't get overly emotional.
Finally a comment that makes sense. Comment section wants the man to be in tears over the car being detailed and can’t fathom the guy not wanting a pressure washer down the carburetor and/or interior 🤣
On a positive note at least we got to see the waterless method. The owner sounds difficult but the fact that you guys still took it on and did a fantastic job is admirable. You guys deserve much more gratitude for what you guys did for him. I can't wait for next weeks episode. Detailing a doorless pinto would be a better watch than his other corvette. The video vibe is better when you guys can actually do your best work. We can tell you guys were a little stressed out with his demands. Who wouldn't be? The car giveaway was awesome though! That woman was so greatful. Great job WD!
God bless you guys/WD for all your hard work and support to others…especially the young lady who got the blessing of a car. Keep doing what you’re doing with passion..
Neglects both cars and puts huge buckets on top of the black vette. Hey, don't do this, don't do that and don't make my vette wet and then acts like whatever. At least he said thank you twice. I hope he means it.
I'm gonna assume he inherited these cars and doesn't have much experience with them. Still cool to see. Hopefully he sells them to someone who will take better care of them 🤙
I just want to say thank you to all u guys for being who you all are🙏 u are all incredible Bless you all we have the biggest respect for everything you done
Owner neglects the car, lets it sit, collect dust and mice, sustains paint damage, but seems very particular with how he wants "someone else" to detail it. What a tool, not deserving of such a beautiful piece of history.
You got her the right rig. I have a 2004 Pilot with over 200k and it runs like a dream. Service it well (especially timing belt at 100k) and it will last her a long long long time
Great Job as always. I'd pass on other car with this owners rules that made zero sense let a car rot for Years with animals pissing and eating wires but he's worried about water haha
Waterless wash? What’s next eggless omelet. Seriously should only be doing this for maintaining a relatively clean car. Also hate to think how many micro fiber cloth you went thru.
Buenas tardes, que bonito video, un trabajo excepcional , sois muy grandes, buenas personas, me alegro por esa chica , un gran regalo, ❤❤❤👏👏👏👏👏👍👌🖐️💪🎄🎄🇪🇦
Good job, guys! You worked with the owners conditions & it looks beautiful, but the best part of the video was the giveaway to Lauren. That was super special & her reaction was priceless (I want to see the transformation of that vehicle). The "naughty paint" comment was hilarious!! Merry Christmas to all of you & the CPP guys 🎄🎁🚙
Everybody seems to agree that the car owner is quite strange. So strange that I think that maybe it is possible that he did not have possession of this car until recently and just read about the water issue without really knowing anything about these cars.
That was a beautiful thing y'all did I'm a Pisces we cry easily i was expecting some tears from Lauren keep up the great work and keep em coming wishing the WD families a very merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄 from Rob in Florida
I am not a big poster but have been with you guys for quite some time. I love your channel its not about detailing its more about a before and after with tips history a bit of "Doug DeMuro" style spin. Merry Christmas to Lauren and to all of you. Keep up the good work and good deeds. I cannot wait to try the new line of products, still working my way through Puro which I bough a gallon of even that was a great product too.
the free car was such a huge gift, she seriusly was happy about it. as for the stingray, i love all of them and this is amazing (especially the paint is so cool). sad we didn't heard her "scream" but it was cool to see her shiny back again
Out of all the corvettes this by far I have to say the whole 69 through 72 body style is my favorite. What makes the Christmas season for me is as soon as the Fog hits the area I live in here in California. Great job guys especially dealing with a person who shouldn't own those cars... shame they will never be driven after the great job y'all do

@@WDDetailingI got you and feel a bit sorry ( from a German car guy )
Merry Christmas! Best wishes to you all and your families. 🎄
After looking at all your videos cars look absolutely amazing you and your team keep up the greatness 💪🏼🙏🏼✌🏼
You guys have a huge heart, great video and Merry Christmas 👍😁❤️
I'm not sure why, but the 72 corvettes are my favorites. Great job guys. It looks great.
the free car was such a huge gift, she seriusly was happy about it. as for the stingray, i love all of them and this is amazing (especially the paint is so cool). sad we didn't heard her "scream" but it was cool to see her shiny back again
