Ouwe Kaas literally means Old Cheese...

What makes watching Harstem cheese so entertaining is that unlike most cheesers, he doesn't need to win with the cheese, he just needs to do more economic damage than it cost. Most players are used to being able to out-macro a cheeser if they can survive the cheese.
Man I have been looking at white label energy drinks to see if I can't get some Bane Boost stuff out there but it only starts at 8 cases haha. Should I just pull the trigger for the memes?
That game against Trigger... was triggering my empathy for the young Canadian. That must have been a really frustrating game to defend. That "GG" came from a special place.
I think he was muted by harstem in a previous game. If I remember correctly you'll see the messages from a muted player in a replay, but not in game. Not 100% sure tho.
@@LEpigeon888 It could have been too early in the game to make the edit. The episode begins with the first pylon already under construction, and in the replay, you can see the message come in before the pylon. Though I guess I don't know exactly how long the message would stay on screen.
@@henningbreede6428 You have to weight the cost of a photon cannon vs what is attacking. 1-2 oracles, or 1 pheonix probably isn't worth it, just better to put a few stalkers there. But when you see a bunch of pheonix's or lots of air - then put down a cannon. Even just 1 cannon will at least help zone the flyers.
I mean to be fair cannon rushing puts you somewhat behind as well and also the terran wasn't in a good position after losing the workers "still in the game" is a bit of a stretch
I always wonder particularly after the first cannon is up why they dont build a battery to extend the life of the active cannon.. you see so often that cannon gets a few shots off and dies and then the next cannon is kind of still building so isn't putting pressure.
I was surprised you didn't target the mules in the first game's cannon rush/with the oracle. The opponent's worker count was so bewildering it threw you off. xD Edit: Are oracles just bad without +1 now? taking an extra hit to kill workers/marines seems like it made them kinda bad.
Considering everything else the oracle has to offer aside from harassing the mineral line they kinda don't suck. Harassing early game vs a protoss who constantly envisions your army becomes a pain in the ass, then you need to worry about stasis traps that can ruin your push.

Once you get to high- GM that's not really the case anymore- even super macro players like Serral have to be ok with pulling out cheese

Spotted a max gold league player. It's impossible to afford "a couple of photon cannons" at that point in the game.

I always wonder particularly after the first cannon is up why they dont build a battery to extend the life of the active cannon.. you see so often that cannon gets a few shots off and dies and then the next cannon is kind of still building so isn't putting pressure.
They usually don't have a core yet so can't build shield battery
