3rd gen 2500-3500
I fit 35"x10.5" tires on my 2008 1500 4x4 with only a leveling kit (3" front / 2" rear), the new rims had 2" outward offset compared to stock rims, no plastic trimming
I now have a 6" lift and can easily fit 37s when my 35s wear out.
I will be adding a 3 inch body lift this spring.
Me too on my 2012 but idk about 37s my 35s rub when I’m turning all the way in reverse

I want to order 20x10 -24offset on 35x12.5R20 on a 2004 Ram 2500 with leveling kit and ranch hand replacement bumpers. I have 33 but want 35 but not sure if they'll rub too much. Any suggestions?

2006-2008 was coilovers and you can fit 35's with a leveling kit with a some rubbing... 33's should clear just fine with a leveling kit

U guys forget the 3rd gen 3/4 tons aren’t torsion bar suspensions and fitment is different and u guys show megacab 1500 which isn’t torsion key front end 😂
Yep. The 3/4 ton, 2500 were solid front axles. They also didn't mention that 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 didn't have torsion bars either. They changed in 2006 to struts.
I’m one of those 59 guys that did a 4” lift lol. It looks good and is all I could afford. I get asked all the time if it’s a 4x4 or 2500 even though I’m a 2WD and clearly have ram 1500 on my doors lol.
What size tires are you running?

I fit 35 x12.5 wheels on my stock 08 ram no rubs or anything full turning radius

I did the same on my 2004 Dodge Ram 20x12 Moto Metal rims 35x12.5 tires on a 7 inch lift. No rub or trimming.
I put 35 12.50 on my 06 and I think I had a 60-70 percent turning radius
Mine is an 07 mega cab I have 12 wide 33 and they rub my inner fender

All of the 06-08 1500 4×4s were coil overs. 03-05 were torsion bars.
02-05...I have an 02 running stock 20's with cooper 35's...stock as a clock

My husband is running 20x16 fuel maverick's on his 2004
slightly lowered early 3th gen (02-05) rams with wide wheels are perfect
Don’t listen you can do 35’s on stock ride height with minimal rubbing in the front not bad at all

Question. How come the builders can't come up with a solution to the rusting over the rear fender wells? I guess the sooner they rust the sooner you'll buy a new one.
Aluminum bed will fix that or fiberglass

2006 + dropped the torsion bar for front suspension and went to struts.
im rocking 315/70R17 (34.5'x12.5') on 17x8 on my dodge 1500, i put a 3'' lift on the front and left the rear stock. rides smooth but im about to put better shocks an maybe more aggressive all terrains.
How much trimming did you have to do?

I run a 4” lift and run my 35’s and have never rubbed
My 08 fits 22x12 -44 and 33x12.5 tires no lift and I don’t rub at all. Even at full turns in bumps

I put 35x11.5 an had to trim more than the plastics for full turn no rub. Still looks good tho

I have a couple of Dodge Ram pickups and my 2004 Dodge Ram Sport I have the leveling kit but the lower plastic piece on the front bumper I hit some deep snow Ice combo and cracked it right there so I had no choice but to cut the lower part of the bumper off that part breaks easily

love the vids, 1 thing though, you guys showed 2 Megacabs, even if they are listed as 1500's the megas use 2500 suspension and axles.
Its funny I did this about 2 months ago. I did this to my 06 dodge ram. I put a 2.5 lift with 20x10s with 0 offset. Wanted it to be flush but I got about an inch or two sticking out. I'm good with that though.

Thank youuu !!! I have a 08 1500 and I’m going to do the 4.5 inch maxtrac on my 20x10 anthem on 275 trail grapplers that equal out to about 34.2
Just recently did the same Maxtrac 4 inch lift on my 2006 Ram 1500 Rwd, Fox shocks, 17x9 -12 offset Raceline wheels, with 35”x12.5. Just gotta do minor trimming on the front chin spoiler and it will clear.
My 3rd gen Dodge Ram is running 22x12 with Nitto 420s on stock height no trimming or rubbing

And another thing i would add is a ram 1500 mega cab which you showed a grey colored one in this video is built off of a 2500 frame so it shouldn’t really be in this video I want to see a 2nd gen cummins and a 3rd gen cummins video because I don’t own and 1/2 tons

Also Wondering...... IF,,,. THE MEGA-CAB'S CAME OUT IN THE 3 RD & 4 TH & 5 TH Gen,. Mega Cab's were they all only 2500's or did any come out w/ the 1500's.......?????? or does any one know any body buliding any 2500 mega cab's frame & all & changing the axxel's back to the 1500's so 1 it's not so dang heavy weight wise...& so it's a lot better on gas as well in the city & hi-way's.....???????????????????????????????

A question I never can get an answer to is “leveling kits do you need to get shock extenders or change your brake lines”
you don't NEED to, but anything over 2" I'd recommend getting new shocks, it definitely helps the ride.
Generations don’t apply to 1/2 tons, only 3/4 and 1 ton Cummins trucks.

That black truck will never ever go off-road. Those rubber bands are going to bend your rims.
Disappointed you didn't talk about the 4-5" lifts for 3rd gens. or the 2500's.
I've been trying to verify if I can manage 37x12.5" on a 5" lift without problem, on 08 Ram 2500. I want to keep the minimum lift I can to fit 37's. (on 18x9, 20x10).

Im running 6inch procomp 08 1500 33s 12.5 thunderer tracks zero rubbing 18inch ×10 dai rock crusher rim 2inch spacers .sick set up zero rubbing plenty ov clearance the truck sees plenty ov off road ov all kinds hasnt let me down yet .tread lightly uuuggg grabb your tits an hammer down keep on truckn!!!

Find a good hill and you can trim the plastic off the front of your 3rd gen. Trust me it works good😂😂.

I have a 2004 2wd ram I just got, it's still stock and I just put 295/70r17s (33x11.5) on it and theres no issues with scrubbing what's so ever but I plan on getting 305/70r17s (35x12) soon and was wondering how would they fit an whats the best way to lift a 2wd

I have a 05 Ram 1500 with 2.5 leveling kit and 2500 shocks. I’m pulling the trigger on 20x12. My tires are Atturo xt 275/65/20. I’m hoping they don’t rub. I need stance and x10 just doesn’t stick out enough. Well a 2.5 level cover a 12 wide?
