I think these are a really good mix between the trendy wide leg in a color and fit that's a little more mature than a teenager. I vote keep them, they look great
I would crop them slightly to just above the ankle. I think with a wide leg it should either be full length (like brush the floor) so it elongates the leg or should be cropped so you can see the ankle. They also look slightly big in the waist so I would tailor that too.
Been a fan for years and have all your books, so I am not just a naysayer here. However, they are indeed a nay for me. You are lovely and they do nothing for you. I think they look too baggy or something. They swallow you up. It is not the height of the waist, that is fine. The legs are the problem. Thank you for all that you do!

Agree with Meg. These don’t live up to what you normally wear. I’m sure they look lovely on some people, but they don’t seem to quite fit your body type. Always be you ! ❤

I own these I find they loosen with wear (if 100% cotton), I’d recommend choosing your size according to the garment measurements and not the size chart. They seem like you might be able to go down one size. Otherwise I love them!!! Super cute! 😍

I think that as that style goes, they look great on you - but then any jean would look great on you, and I think there are much more flattering cuts of jean out there!

The pants look great and comfortable, too! I have a similar pair, and I like to combine them with a more fitted top to balance out the ‘baggy’ factor.

These jeans look very good on you but they don't look flared. They look more stove pipe or boot cut. But yes, you should keep them!
I’m not a fan of the wider leg in general, but I also think that it looks slightly overwhelming on your smaller frame. I think a slim straight pair of jeans would look really great on you and are more of a classic look.

I love them on you; it makes me think of the silhouettes from the 1930s and 1940s with the high waistlines and flared bottoms! I so thankful these silhouettes are coming back into style!

Personally I don’t think they are flattering. Maybe in a dress pant but not in the jean. Just my opinion. They look a little big on you (horizontal lines). Maybe try this style in another brand that has more stretch material (not so stiff looking).

Honey, those are not flared. Probably wider than you are used to but look straight rather than flared. Boot cut are the normal flared style available at this time. I do not like wearing high waisted pants but you are slender so they may be okay for you.

They look comfy and not as constricting as your old skinny jeans. They look like they need to be cropped just a little so they don't get caught on your shoes. It's a yes.
I’ve always liked pants with the waist band at my waist. I’ve never thought of those as high waisted, but natural waisted. So I think those pants look great.

I do like this look on you, in fact I love it. It’s a basic jean look, not the latest fad, just a “I’m in my favorite pair of jeans” type of look. Comfy, cute, like what I wore growing up and still wear for that matter. Bring back the jeans that go with anything! Of course you look great in them, but it’s more than that. Those jeans are classic cool and I love them!

Mine finally came in the mail and I’m not sure how I feel about them either. Im 5’1 and they hit right to my feet. I surprisingly like the farmer blue color and they fit great in the waist but I don’t think they do anything for me in the butt area and I think they need to be a smidge more fitted throughout the hip and down a bit. I’m waiting for the sailor pant to ship though and I’m going to compare. The sailor pant is purposely wider which is what I kinda wanted whereas the way high jean just looks like it’s a little big? Idk!!!! I wanna love em though cuz something about em makes it look and feel so classic and vintage like than my Abercrombies.
I think if they were hemmed a little more above the ankle that they would flatter you really well!
