    This was so helpful. I have the mid-rise skinny authentic stretch jeans in white. They replaced an old pair I had from Saba that were more low rise. I’m 5’10” so I bought them in the tall length but they sit just above my ankle bone. I’m waiting on an order to arrive hopefully this week with the Original Cheeky straight jeans in bone. I struggled to decide on a size so I’m glad you suggested sizing up. I’m normally a 27 or AU10 but sometimes have to size down to a 26 or up to a 28. With these jeans I sized up to a 28 so 🤞🏻they fit ok. Shipping takes so long to get to WA.

    This is so helpful. I'm actually in the search for a perfect slim fit, but not skinny, jean right now, and it sounds like the original cheeky is it. I've been trying to figure out how they compare to the 90s cheeky (which I have and love) and this video was exactly the help I have been looking for.

      I'm so thrilled to hear that this was helpful Megan! And I am totally with you on that, I think they're such a great option if you want a jean that isn't too wide through the leg, but also isn't a skinny either, and the original cheeky is good as it does have that bit of stretch that makes them very comfortable to wear :)

    Hello! Thanks for a great Everlane denim review! It’s great to see the different styles and washes and your commentary is very helpful. I purchased the Way High straight based on your review. I have the Original Cheeky but now considering the 90s Cheeky. As for skinny jeans Gen Z can kiss my skinny-jean loving butt and would do better to focus on growing up and figuring out their own lives rather than dictating fashion 😜

    so real questions here: I do like the jeans, think they are good quality but the measurements are off. Im a levis 28, I measure a 30. I ordered a 29 everlane with your recommendation and their measurements are actually 33 on a "29" jean. I had to return for 27. so that means that their pants run HUGE.

    This is very helpful, thanks for posting! I love how systematic you are in terms of describing similarities and differences, and showing the fits next to each other for comparison. It's just...extremely informative and contributes a lot to my own sense of what things will look like on me.
    I have a pair of Everlane's new Rigid Slouch jeans, and I just ordered a pair of the 90s cheeky jean. I wanted these because of the 100% cotton fabric and the button fly. The Everlane jeans I miss the most - and wish they'd bring back - is the Modern Boyfriend. I love them so much! I still have a pair of black ones that have faded a bit but otherwise are holding up great, but my blue and bone ones are long gone. I wore three pairs of mid-blue ones to shreds, and the bone ones...I'm just too much of a slob for white jeans, LOL. I was so sad when these were discontinued! But I do love the rigid slouch jeans (I went down a size in those) and I have high hopes for the 90s cheeky. I'm trying my true size in those...fingers crossed. Thanks again for a great video! I love your content.

      So glad you found the side by sides helpful! I actually can't recall whether I tried the modern boyfriend (they must have launched them 5 years ago now, right?) - I swear two years in and I still have major baby brain. I do like that the brand continues to update the styles they have to create improvements - that's definitely been my feeling with their new "original cheeky". But hands down one of my favourite jeans brands - all my pairs have held up so well in the wash. Good luck with the 90s cheeky - I personally LOVE that style! xx

    • @arguchik
      @arguchik 2 года назад

      @@mademoisellejaime Thanks so much for your reply! I think the Modern Boyfriend jean was more like 7 or 8 years ago now. I say that because I remember where I was living at the time, and I moved there in early 2014. I agree with you about them updating their denim. I love straight leg jeans. My very favorite pair of jeans is a lower-slung pair of Levi's 501s. They only have 4 buttons in the fly, instead of 5 (which most of the women's 501s now come with 5 buttons and a higher rise). I also have a pair of Everlane's newer Rigid Slouch jean, which I really enjoy. I did size down in those because I didn't like the degree of slouchiness in the crotch area, LOL. But the jeans themselves are great. I love 100% cotton denim, and they are just so well made. Looking forward to the 90s cheeky. :)

    I took the leap and ordered the 90's cheeky jeans in the smallest size (23) after seeing that the original cheeky's were out of stock. They were huge and swallowed me whole, really unflattering to my body shape (slim/athletic/petite). Had to return and my hunt continues :( So far, the only jeans that flatter me are the Denim Forum Lola Skinny Crop from Aritzia 🤷‍♀️

    Hi Thank you so much! I love your videos! I am also a Aus 8, and I am quite petite. Can I please ask what is your waist measurement? I asked customer service and was advised I'm a 27. But that seems odd as I am thin everywhere else except the waist after giving birth. However I can still fit in a size 8 country road..any advice would be greatly appreciated, I would really want to avoid the whole return process and shipping cost etc...lol

      Glad I could help! I’d recommend opting for their denim with stretch as I find their jeans really forgiving. I wear a 26 in the cheekys (regular style with elastane) and in their skinny jeans xx

      @@mademoisellejaime thanks so much for the advice. I’m just about to place an order 😅Can I please just bother you with one last question. With the size 25 original cheeky, do you find it very tight around the waist, or is there any more room to give? My waist is measuring 68cm atm which is almost a size 27! However the rest of my body is a size 25 so I’m afraid the hip and leg might be too loose even if I got the 26…. Otherwise I would have to really try hard to loose the stubborn post pregnancy belly😫

    I don’t know what percentage of your viewers are from the U.S., but if it is a large proportion, you should consider converting measurements into inches, too, and going the measurements in both cm and inches. Centimeter measurements mean nothing to me. When I see measurements in only centimeters I immediately change yo other content providers, because I assume the video is not being addressed to U.S. viewers.
