Just want to comment a little something something, but obviously if you watched this, you know none of these jeans fit me. They def were not the correct size. I posted this video anyway because I wanted to show that literally no sizes are consistent and that it isn’t us that is the problem but these brands need to be more consistent. At this time I was a 29(now I’m a 30) in Madewell jeans, a 28 in free people jeans, and a 29 in uniqloa jeans. So getting a 29 in Everlane just seemed like the right thing to do. Obviously was not the right thing but I know there have been people commenting saying that I didn’t get the correct size but also it should have been the correct size LOL 😭 I still plan on going to the everlane store and trying on some that actually fit my waist to see the outcome now that they’re letting people use the fitting rooms! ☺️ Xx

I had to size down in the 90’s cheeky jean and wore my regular size for the skinny, so I don’t think Everlane runs small.

Hmm, very nice review. I went to the store today bc I've been curious about Everlane. I'm a size 30/10 in levis and 5'4. I had the EXACT same experience as you did. [I even happened to try the SAME ones you ordered] I talked with someone working there to see what they recommend and they said that she recommends going DOWN in the ones that 'strech' and going with your size on the 'no strech' . Following her advice, I tried them on going down 1 size only , 29, and they were tight. So I would agree with you, size up. I'm more of a pear shape/ spoon. My waist isn't as small but I do have larger hips. I loved your video, made me feel like maybe I just tried too small of a size.

    • @AndreaCelisYT

Thank you for this honest review. I wear a 28 in jeans, but my stomach is not flat. I saw reviews that recommended you size down for the 90's Cheeky, so I ordered a 27 and experienced the same thing. I could pull them on (they were tighter than I prefer), but had the open V. An Everlane rep told me to order by my waist size, not the UK sizing. I just returned them for an exchange in a larger size.

This was great. I have a pair of Everlane jeans in my cart. The 10 in madewell fits me very comfortably, now I’m 2nd guessing getting the Everlane. Proper fit is everything with jeans.

It can be so hard finding really good jeans!! I was so sad the Everlane jeans didn’t fit and was hoping I’d love them! I still want to give them another try by sizing up. Will most likely be filming that video :) Madewell jeans are my fav!! Also want to give Levis a chance since I’ve never had! All in all, AGREE. Proper fit is everything ☺️

girl i feel u so much. its like larger sizes tend to be made for hourglass figures, but i am def straight sized and so for jeans to fit my waist, i have to wayyyyy size up to the point where the legs are quite loose fitting. it can be frustrating

I haven’t tried Everlane yet but I am a Madewell fiend and I think it’s pretty well known that their sizing runs large. I always have to size down for the most part at Madewell (especially since their denim eventually stretches to fit your body so they always suggest buying the tightest size on your waist that you can bear and then breaking them in).

I had the EXACT same experience at Everlane. I am so disappointed, too, because the cheeky jean is literally the perfect cut. And they claim it as 2% elastane which doesn't make much sense to me... since I have other 99% cotton/1% elastane pants that fit much better and actually seem to stretch. It's one thing to size up, which I would have to do, but jeans with no stretch that are also too tight... just a horrible combination. lol. ugh!

I've also heard of Everlane in the last 4-5 months and decided to give it a try since they had great sales. I googled about sizing and actually people consider the jeans running big...also you can see on their site the reviews by height and weight...Point is that I bought the mid-rise skinny and cheeky bootcut jeans, both in size 26 (I'm 5'6"). They are perfect on me and I usually wear in other brands 26-27...I don't have any Madewell jeans, but 2 years ago I bought JCrew skinny jeans in size 27. They are same company.

FrenchStyle I will have to give them another try! ☺️ I think going to the everlane store might work better on finding what size I am for the brand. I am definitely more rectangle shape so I wonder if it works better for people with slimmer waists. @@AndreaCelisYT I received my jeans ordered from Aritzia today (straight leg style) and this is my first time buying jeans from this brand. I ordered a 29 assuming it would fit as per their sizing chart and because I always wear a 29 but I found them too tight. And I read all the reviews before ordering. Even though some people wear their jeans that way, I don't like it. It's not flattering and it's not comfortable. I returned them and ordered a size 30.

aww I’m glad to hear it looks like you still had fun even tho the jeans didn’t work out. I’m a size 31 and had a super similar experience LOL they would “fit” in my size but the waist would be way too tight. I definitely think everlane jeans are made more for that hourglass shape. I liked how the legs fit on you but I’m wondering if sizing up in the waist would change the fit of the legs as well. Into the dressing room would be nice, if that’s allowed in NY rn? Stay safe and healthy!!

MsSharoth the order and return process is never fun!! ☹️ I’m trying to go into the everlane in the city to see if going up a size or two would help fit my figure. My main concern for these jeans are that once I go up a size or two that the legs/ thighs might be too loose on me. But we shall see!
