The interviewer didn’t consider his interviewees that they were hard up understanding his questions, so fast in talking and these Japanese had to assimilate first what they had heard and converted it from Japanese to English. He didn’t paraphrase his questions or just simplify it.

The real difference I see in the people working in Japan and the Philippines or any other countries, the discrepancy is the wage. The local wage is lower than in other countries, and food and the cost of living are not proportionate with their salaries and skills. Many Filipinos don't have savings at all working within the Philippines. If they have extra money, they can save for education, food, medicine, for future family's needs. If they spend on vacation, I think a part to reward yourself from work or gesture of thanksgiving from God for the many blessings. It is not that Filipinos don't know how to handle money. Maybe to some but not all.

The population of poor chinese people are more than poor filipino people. 300m chinese are poor while in the Ph is like 30m. But the numbers of rich chinese are 60-70% of population while rich filipino is just like only 30-40%

They speak English in Japan, why do you keep asking them where they learned their English? Don't compare, We are all Asians. Rice is Life for Orientals. Western Foreigners don't know the Asian Culture and Psychology, Western People don't know much..

"IN COMMON" "LEAST" "DIFFERENCE" THESE ARE HARD WORDS FOR PEOPLE JUST LEARNING ENGLISH.
The next time you have a conversation with people who are not familiar with English language
You must be prepared to deliver a word or statement as simple as it can be.
You are not a good communicator.
