Great video Jules. Followed it step-by-step. One thing for all the people who watched this. Make sure that you apply rtv gasket maker on the coolant housing. I noticed on mine that there was no gasket just rtv. Other than that great, great video Jules. I just hope it solves my code issue. Thanks man!

Excellent video, but I am confused! Did you remove the original knock sensor out from under the intake or not? If yes, how.. what size socket, wrench/etc. Please respond. THANKS! Again, great video!

Hey man F*uck ya. Because off you and one other video I was able to use a mirror screwdriver and hand eye coordination and had the plug out in five minutes without doing anything else. Thanks for the great idea. This fix is for someone who didn’t want to spice wires. The reward was retaining the factory plug.

Does this method still properly read knock or is it just to erase the check engine light code?

Good stuff man. You got an idea of what the bolt size for the longer bolt to the intake manifold was? I want to do this job but its on my only car and really don't want to end up stranded.

Just got an Xterra. Says I have misfires and knock sensor codes. Is the knock sensor making my truck sputter? I've heard people online say it doesn't do anything to your truck and that it does do stuff to your truck.

How do you get to the bottom bolt to remove the coolant hose?

Dang wish I had seen this video. I ended up cutting the wire and doing it that way. For some reason this video wasn't pulling up until now.

I am not sure if he took the original out or left it in? The video does not answer that question! If he did, then why did he not put the new one back where the original was? I remain confused on that issue! This is a great video regardless!

If you can reach both the bolt and the clip for it, why did you bother even unclipping it at all? Just remove the fucking bolt and the harness comes out with it 🤦‍♂️

I did not see him remove the knock sensor bolt or the original knock sensor out from under the intake! Without that detail, it remains a mystery as to whether he DID or DID NOT remove the original knock sensor! Correct?
